2 CH.02 I am going shopping

After a few days, McGonagall came to get me so that we could go shopping for the study material, wands and other things.

I asked her "Where will we be going to buy this stuff?"

"We are doing to Diagon Alley to buy all the things you will need," she said.

I asked curiously, "How are we going there?".

She said, " We would be taking the knight bus."

A sense of dread came because the knight bus might as well have been a roller coaster on the roads. She went and pulled out her wand and raised it and a bus came in a woosh.

I was looking at the thing and then Mcgonagall said "What are you waiting for? We don't have all day."

I reluctantly stepped onto the bus and she said to the conductor where we wanted to go and the bus started to move at great speed and she looked at me I was holding the post with my dear life, it looked like I was a Koala and the post was the tree and I looked at her and I saw that she was enjoying this in my mind I was like 'How are you finding it funny?'.

The bus was moving at such speeds that it was incredible I was more impressed with the driver because he didn't hit a single thing his reaction speed was incredible. We reached our destination and I was proud of myself for not puking I then stepped outside the bus and as soon as I stepped out I was puking like a fountain.

After a few minutes of rest, we went shopping we got the books the robes the uniform the equipment for potions, herbology, astronomy and after getting all the stuff we went to the pet shop had all kinds of animals in there Mcgonagall said to take an owl so that I could send and receive mails and took off so because of some school-related work I was looking around the shop.

I found a white snake it was looking very weak. I asked about it to the store owner he said that if I want I could take her she is going to die anyway so I went close to her and tried to put it in my bag but it had coiled itself and was ready to attack the owner grabbed it from behind the neck and put the snake in the bag. I also found myself a black great horned owl and decided to name him Nimbus because that means black cloud.

I waited for McGonagall outside the pet shop and she was a bit late and when she came she had a box in her hands I decided not to ask because she is not going to tell me anyway. We then went to get my wand at Olivander.

The shop was very old and was smelling like woods. From the inside of the shop came Olivander he looked at me and said "Hello, young man here for your wand?".

I just wanted to say no bro I am here for that good stuff I mean you sell wands what else would I be here for? I said, " Yes, sir."

He said his old dialogue yada yada and showed me many wand which was not good for me. At one point I almost took out his eye. He then pulled out a wand from the back and said "This one might be a fit for you 11" long yew wood with dragon heartstring core".

I took the wand in my hand the wand just connected to me and I just had this sensation of power. I didn't even swing it because there was no need to.

After the shopping was done she took me to leaky cauldron I would be staying here for the rest of the time until school begins. McGonagall said to me "This is your ticket to the train. It will be at platform 9¾ I suggest you get there early."

I looked and her and said, "Thank you again, Prof. McGonagall, for all of this."

She then gave me some money as allowance then patted my head and said "I am happy to help you, Jonathan."

I never knew she would do that after settling in the room I took the snake out of the bag.

I took it out of the bag. The good thing was the snake hasn't been dead...yet. I put the snake inside the glass case I had got from the store. I went downstairs to get something to eat for me and my pets I got myself a chicken breast and boiled broccoli with a glass of milk. I got nimbus and the snake some raw meat.

After feeding myself and my pets. I looked after the snake and hoped that it can get better with some extra attention and care.

I then took out some of the books and I quickly looked for a spell that was easy enough for me to learn and won't get me in trouble with the ministry.

I then looked at the books they were made from parchment and were bound in leather, the pages were a bit more coarse, I looked at the books and they had spell's incantation, wand movement and uses of the spell.

I then looked for Wingardium Leviosa. It was an easy spell and won't really get me in any trouble with the ministry.

I then took out my wand and placed a coin in front of me and tried the spell with the proper incantation "win gar dium levi ohhh sa" and wand movement a swish and a flick, and the coin started to levitate, it was amazing to see magic but to do it was an even amazing experience.

After getting a good hold of the spell I went to London to make money you might be thinking how by gambling. I went to many places where people were playing dice I put the money I had gotten from McGonagall and rolled them dice and won a lot over the course of several weeks.

Many people tried to rob me but I was small and could run faster than them. By gambling for 3 weeks, I had gotten about 50,000 pounds. I now had enough for some time I then went to Gringotts to convert the money.

I went to Gringotts, I walked up to the main counter and said "Good morning, I would like to open an account and would also like to take an inheritance test."

the manager looked at me and rang the bell and said "Gornok take this gentleman and get him an inheritance test and then open a bank account for him if you follow him he will explain to you everything."

I then just thanked him and followed Gornok to a room he then pulled out a rectangular device and a silver knife and said the test costs about 2 Galleon and the fee will be deducted from your account. Please bleed here."

I made a small cut and bleed over the device and after a few seconds, it showed me the names of the people who I will be inheriting from.
