4 Ch. 04 History lesson.

The history books told a story that was somewhat familiar but entirely different. In the second war against the Death Eaters, the coalition of Order of the Phoenix a supposed secret society and Aurors were being dominated. It seemed all was lost until Harry was born. He was heralded as the saviour of the wizarding world.

But he was not the only one who was born that day his sister Victoria Potter was also born on 31 July 1980. This was one of the major changes that I saw but it was not the end it seemed as that James Potter and Lily Potter had also survived that day. The one's to sacrifice themselves were his Grandparents.

I was sitting at a table in my room reading the books and the thought that came to my mind was 'This is just weird, not only Harry has a sister but his parents are also alive. How different is he going to be from the original? And is there a plot at this point?'

I continued to read the book. In the books, Sirius never went to Azkaban, Petter Pettigrew however succumbed to the dark side and was sentenced to Askaban. Many of the people from the light faction were now revered as heroes. But one name remained Silent Emilia House a Great Auror who fought for what was right. Now, where is she? And why no one remembers her.

After getting my fill of the history I started to devour the knowledge in the books that were provided to me by McGonagall. Some of the qualities from my supposed Father were now becoming very noticeable I was very good in Potions, Runes, Arithmancy.

Occlumency and Legilimency were the areas where I needed a master so I didn't know if I was good or not in those areas. I thought of flying and remembered that Tom was an excellent flyer so I might have potential in that area.

It seems that I am very good with animals and generally get along nicely with them and I generally liked being outside in the sun.

Seeing as in a few days it will be 1 Sept. 1991 the day when I go to Hogwarts. I decided to make some adjustments to my robes.

So I went to Madam Malkin's store so that she could alter the sleeves to have an expansion charm on them and would be temperature controlled.

I had to do this because Cotton liked hanging around my arm so I decided to make it more comfortable for her. I have grown to care a lot more about her and Nimbus maybe it is because of the time I am spending with them. But the connection with cotton is just something else entirely.

"Rise and Shine baby for today's the day our lives changes forever," I said while I gathered all of my things and my friends. I went to the station it was filled with families sending their children off to school when I watched some of the children I think I felt as if I was missing something, something key was missing.

I got an empty compartment and I put away my trunk and put Nibus's cage on top was sitting on the window side with Cotton in my hand she was looking outside the window I was looking at the children with their parents. I was broken from my stupor.

"Is this seat taken?" said a fuzzy brunet it was Hermione.

"No, Please, I am Jonathan," I replied.

"Hermione Granger, it's a pleasure," she replied and then she looked at cotton and was frightened.

"Oh, don't worry about cotton she doesn't bite," I replied with a warm smile.

She sat down and asked, "Is it poisonous?"

I had a very proud expression on my face when I said "Highly she is a rare albino Krait, she was very hurt when I found her and now look at her she is about 2'2" now." Cotton at this point was like my daughter.

She looked at me like I was crazy. Probably I am don't know for sure. Her cat was also freaking out.

"Okay, just try to stay calm I will put her away, Okay Cotton go inside now people are freaking out." And she went inside my sleeve.

She was confused as to how did the snake went inside so easily and I said "I have trained her well, that is why she is soo well behaved."

She sat down and "I don't think you can bring her." She said while hugging her cat.

"I know she possesses a security concern but she is very well-behaving and to be quite honest very clingy." That got a chuckle out of her.

"So Jonathan do you have a last name?" She asked.

I said, "Ah...well, no I am an orphan." I decided to hide the last name on Purpose.

She got a bit embarrassed and sad. "I am sorry."

"What are you sorry for? You just wanted to know me better and that is why you asked the question there was no malice or forethought in your question so it is okay, cheer up."

She eased up a bit "So are you excited about going to Hogwarts?" asked Hermione.

"Oh, yeah definitely being able to learn magic is going to be amazing," I said enthusiastically.

"Which house do you prefer to be in?" She asked excitedly.

I knew that the hat will put me in Slytherin and I wanted to be in Slytherin it's a great place if you have any ambition to be great, they can provide you with connections I know it's going to be tough for me but I will do my best so that I can gather some capable individuals, but I said: "I don't know all of them to offer something very unique."

"Well, I want to be in Gryffindor. Dumbledore himself was in Gryffindor." She said proudly.

"And Merlin was a Slytherin." When I said that she became quiet and I continued "I would advise you to keep an open mind about everything because nothing is always as they seem."

We then chatted about magic theory and I found that her memory was astounding, no wonder she was the most brilliant of her age. She was also surprised to see a person who was as interested as her in learning magic and was also from the muggle side.

"Excuse me have you seen a toad? Neville has lost his toad." I heard a girls voice
