95 Stop it he’s dead already.

"What are dreams?" A man stood in the middle of a room with a man laying on the table. The man struggled to break free of his restraints. His muffled screams of plea and anger barely made through the leather gag in his mouth.

The man looked at the figure standing by with a small thin knife in his hand. He made a small incision between his 4th and 5th rib. The man let out a muffled scream. His eyes pooled with water and as his eyes bulged out.

"Hmm… I wholeheartedly appreciate your willingness to participate but you do have to understand that I don't trust you enough to remove your gag…" The man smiled and then turned around and picked up a small creature out of a glass vile.

The creature had numerous small and slender legs. There was no face yet a mouth appeared to be present at the bottom when the legs arises. The small and vile creature appeared grey and pale, its cry reminded of small birds crying.

"Beautiful creatures aren't they." The man smiled as he showed the thing to his victim.

The man struggled more and blood started to come out of the incision. The man's face twisted and he roared. "Do not move!" The victim stopped and the man huffed and calmed himself.

"I'm sorry for my outburst, but I'm trying to save you from yourself…" The man cleaned the surface and the man's chest of the blood and stabilized him more. "You see… I have choose you for a purpose… for something bigger than you." The man picked up the creature with foreseps and placed it inside his body.

The man cried out in pain and then nothing. The man laid still on the steel slab, still as stone. The man's body began to change a little. Small black lines started to appear around his heart and it was spreading slowly. "There… now you're ready."

The man removed the gag and asked, "What are dreams? If not our most deepest and darkest wishes coming true."

Jon's room in Hogwarts. The young wizard wakes with a gasp from a dream. He wipes the sweat of his forehead and taken in deep breath to calm himself which doesn't help him much. Daphne woke up as well and looked at him.

"You okay?" Daphne asked with her eyebrows raised.

Jon nodded and looked at the ceiling of his room. "Just a bad dream."

She held him closer and rested her head near him and said, "You'll be fine… it's just a dream."

He sighed and kissed her head, "Yeah, just a dream."

The day came and the students went there way to their classes, the break had ended and they were again put in a mundane loop of classes and homework. None more hated it than Ted.

"God, I don't remember the classes being so boring." Ted said with his hands wide open and flailing around like a limp sausage.

"Yeah." Jon replied with half a mind in the conversation. They were on their way to ancient runes. While the girls were on their way to Divination.

"What up with you? You seem a bit out of sorts… well more than usual." Ted asked as he looked at Jon.

"I don't know I just had a dream… and it's kinda making me feel weird."

"Oh, yeah… my butler said it's common with growing up… you just have to relieve yourself and you'll be fine… maybe even ask one of them for help."

"That's not the kind of dream I'm talking about." They both reached the class and sat down on a desk in the middle.

"Oh." He looked at Jon and asked, "So what kind of dream did you have?"

"It's odd… I mean I don't even know if it was a dream."

"So you had a dream that's not a dream but is."

"Yeah… it's confusing isn't it."

"Yeah." He turned to him and asked, "What did you see?"

Jon turned to him and hesitated to tell him, "I see a man."

Ted chuckled and Jon raised his eyebrows and Ted nods, "So… you see a man, go on."

Jon clears his throat, "He is talking to me or someone and then he does something."

"He touches you?"

"If you're going to do that. I'm not going to tell you."

"Sorry… continue."

"He turns around and I see a girl on a metal slab… lying still as a doll, I can't see her face but I feel like my heart would explode if something happens to her. He walks up to her and I try and stop him but I can't move… I try and try but my body just doesn't listen to me. He then takes up an old scaple and cuts into her…. And I wake up."

Ted looked at him and with his eyes wide as they could be his throat dry as a desert his tongue like a belt. He shakes his head a little and looks down pondering. Jon looks at him and places his hand on his shoulder and Ted looks around finally utters some words out of his mouth silent and quiet as death, "You might be seeing a vision of future."

——————————————————-

"That can't possibly be the only explanation." Jon tried to bargain with Ted as they both went down the steep steps leading to the place where the class for Magical creatures were going to take place.

"How else would you explain it… you've been seeing this dream, again and again… and it doesn't change. Think about it."

"Dream are nothing but a collection of things we see and the things we want to see."

"I would except that if it was any other dream. But in this case it's even more disturbing."

"Oye, Wait for us." Both of them turn around and they see the girls on their way over and they both stopped and waited for them to catch up with him.

Ted softly asked, "Do you see who the girl was?"

Jon shakes his head and sighed a dreadful breath.

All the students gathered around Hagrid's hut and he clapped to get everyone's attention and said, "That's it. Come on, now. Come closer. Less talking, if you don't mind. I got a real treat for you today. A great lesson. So follow me."

We followed the the large man into the woods and Jon asked the girls, "So how was your class?"

"We had some great tea." Tracey proudly pronounced.

"How was your class?" Daphne asked

"Pretty nice… it's a bit dense but very very intriguing in my opinion." Jon said with a smile on his face.

All the students reached a pen like in the woods. Hagrid walked over the little step and said, "Right, you lot. Less chattering. Form a group over there. And open your books to page 49."

"Exactly how do we do that?" Draco asked with an ever so higher than thou tone.

"Just stroke the spine, of course. Goodness me." Hagrid instructed him and everyone like it was common knowledge.

"Dumbass." Jon said in a soft tone as he stoked the spine of the arachnid looking book and opened it.

Not everyone did it correctly though like Longbottom, poor lad "Don't be such a wimp, Longbottom."

"I'm okay. Okay." He said as he wrangled the book to get it under control.

"I think they're funny." Hermione said with a grimace on her face.

Jon and the gang removed their books and Jon took off his robes and sweater.

"Oh, yeah. Terribly funny. Witty. God, this place has gone to the dogs. Wait until Father hears Dumbledore's got this oaf teaching classes." Draco declared

"Is your father unemployed?" Jon asked.

Draco looked at him, "Oh, look here comes the saviors of the half witted. The limp king himself." Draco and his gaggle laughed.

Jon looked at him and said, "The limp king?" He shakes his head and Draco folds his hands and Jon said, "Why do have to talk, I mean every time you open that sewer hole you call a mouth, just utter filth comes spilling out of it."

Everyone looked at Draco and they all snickered and tried to hold their laugh not Hermione though. Draco was about to say something again and Jon said, "Please don't say my father will hear about this… if he had been listening to your constant bitch moaning and complaining like a well… little bitch. He would have sent you St mungo's. To get euthanized better to have no son than a to have a son who's a little bitch and coward."

"Damn." Ted said with an emphasis on the damn.

The crowd burst into laughter and chants and Hagrid had to get them to simmer down to get to the lesson for today.
