His voice reached my ears and broke me from my stupor. I looked at him and smacked my lips and asked, "Are you sure this result is accurate?"

He smirked and said, "Sir, I can assure you that our test kits are the best of the best you can get. Just because you don't have any lineage in the wizarding world doesn't mean that our test is wrong, sir?"

I looked at him and said, "That is not the case…"

He looked at me, and he squinted and said, "Sir, if i may?" I nodded and handed him the parchment. He got his reading glasses out of his pocket and he read the list.

He smacked his lips and put down the parchment and said, "I am sorry, but the machine is obviously broken… let me get another test ready for you."

I nodded, and he got up from the sofa and walked out of the room. I looked at the parchment, and I was sure that this must be a mistake, cause how can I be the child of Voldemort?

It doesn't make any sense. How does that psychopathic megalomaniac get a girl? I was pretty sure that he was a celibate. But it could be so and if this was the truth then I don't know what I am going to do.

As I was having an existential crisis. Gornok entered the room with another device, it was same as the last one. He placed it on the table, and set it up and said, "Try again sir."

I gave him my hand, and he pricked my finger and drops of blood poured on the device again, and it glowed a bright red, and he took the parchment from underneath the device, and he read it and said, "Hmm, well… it seems like the results are indeed correct."

He handed me the results, and they were the same, and I was just lost for words. I looked at him, and it looked like he knew what I was about to ask him, He said, "You don't need to worry sir, we do not reveal information such as this to anyone. You can rest easy."

I sighed, and I said, "Thank you." I then looked at the list, and I was quite sure if I touched anyone of the big house, it would attract too much attention. So my options were a little limited. Gaunt's didn't have much to their name. Pervell's are the ancient house, but I don't have a full claim to it.

Can't use Grindelwald because he is still alive and who knows if his followers are still active. The same goes for Voldeshorts, so the only real option is House. I don't think I heard of this family in the original. So I guess I'll use this one.

I put the parchment down, and I asked him, "Can you tell me the procedure as to how can I inherit one of these houses?"

Gornok nodded and said, "Very well, you can fully inherit one house at the age of 15. Although, you would also require an heir ring to complete the transfer to your name.

As an heir, you will also be able to claim the heir vaults and will also be able to use any estate available under the family name."

I then looked at him and I asked, "I would like to ask some questions about the House family? If you don't mind?"

He nodded and smiled and said, "Go ahead."

I cleared my throat and asked, "If I was to inherit this family name. Will there be a huge uproar?"

He hummed and nodded and said, "Well, in my opinion it would cause the least amount of noise and unless you announce it to the world. None will be wiser. Although it can be hard with you attending Hogwarts."

I nodded and said, "Hmm, I understand… I think I have made my decision. I would like to inherit the house name."

He looked at me and said, "I could do that, but unfortunately the heir ring is not with us. It is a common procedure to deposit the heir ring with us, or to keep it within the family. But the house ring has been missing and there is no living member of the family."

I reached into my pocket and got the ring. I showed the ring to him and I said, "Is this an heir ring?"

He took the ring in his hand and he got his loupe out of his pocket and he inspected the ring and after a few minutes of inspecting he hummed and smiled and said, "It is the heir ring to house family."

I asked him, "So, can you start the process?"

He smiled and nodded, he said, "I would also suggest you to open a separate bank account to transfer funds from the heir vault."

I nodded and said, "Do that." He nodded, and I asked, "Can I ask, how many estates are under the house name? And the bank statement and how much money will I be able to get from the heir vault?"

He chuckled and said, "You like to get to the meat of it, huh? I like it. Give me a few minutes, I will be back with the records' sir."

I nodded and he smiled and got up. He got out of the room and I exhaled and said, "This is a little exhausting." I never liked banks.

After a few minutes, he came in with a huge binder, and he smiled and said, "I am sorry it took me this much time. These documents were deep in the archives. He pushed the binder towards me and I opened it and started to look through it.

The list of estates was seemingly endless, it included manors and mansions and bungalows in almost every part of the world. But the problem was most of them were not in good condition, there were five in England two in Nottingham, two in Ashbourne and one in South port.

The bank statement was almost frightening, I had never seen this much money in one place at the same time. It had about 2,907,216 Galleons. I damn near fainted when I looked at the figures.

[This is just the heir's trust vault, the real vault is even more, impressive.]

I then looked at the history of the family and found that they were traders and had ties with the muggle businesses and supplied all the magical Britain with most of the tea, tobacco, cotton, barley, and wheat. The family had also contributed to St. Mungos Hospital and many other establishments.

He looked at my face, it was a little clear that I was overwhelmed, and he chuckled and said, "If you allow me to simplify it all."

I nodded, and he said, "With your Heir vault you'll be able to take out 5000 galleons every month. And if you want my suggestion, the two good mansions in England are in South port and one in Nottingham. But the one in South Port is the most well-kept and is also the largest of them all."

I nodded and said, "Excellent, then open a new bank account for me and deposit it with 4000 galleons. And I would also like to buy a pouch connected to my new bank account as well."

He nodded and said, "Will be done, sir."

With my work done at the bank. I decided to check out the bookshops, hoping to find something interesting. I was hoping to get some history books; so that I could get a better grasp of the world I was in.

I reached Flourish and Blotts and was browsing for books. Even though this was my second time visiting the store. It was still amazing, the store walls were lined by shelves upon shelves and filled to the brim with books. The store also smelled of parchment and leather.

As I was browsing through, I was approached by an employee. She looked at me and asked, "I remember you came yesterday? What happened? Did you lose your book or something?"

I shook my head and said, "I want to buy some books."

She looked at me and I knew what she wanted to say, and I said, "I have the sufficient funds to buy them."

She sighed and said, "Most books avg cost is about 2 galleons, kid."

I nodded and said, "I remember, I was here yesterday."

She shrugged her shoulders and said, "What do you want then?"

I pointed at the books I wanted, she got the books, they included :- Quidditch through the ages, Easy spells to fool Muggles and Curses, Counter-curses, Spellman's Syllabary, Numerology and Grammatica.

The last two books were not of my year, but I still wanted to see if Arithmancy was really like mathematics or not, and I took the runes book cause of curiosity. As she took the books to the registry she gave me a look and I nodded and she sighed, and she totaled the books and the cost was about 12 galleons and 4 sickles.

She looked at me as I pulled out my pouch. I put my hands inside, and I grabbed a few coins and I put 13 Galleons on the table, and she was a little shocked. But she quickly broke through her stupor and gave me the change. I said to her, "Can you deliver them to leaky cauldron, room no 7?"

She nodded, and I said, "Thank you" to her and got out of the shop. I saw that there was still some day time left, so I decided to wander around the Alley. I saw an ice cream shop and decided to check it out. I have heard its name, so I was excited to try it out. I saw the sign, it said, "Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour."

I ate a chocolate sundae there were some odd flours out there, that I wasn't bold enough to explore. Such as snot. Who is making all this? But more importantly, who is eating them?

I arrived in my room with my books, after my tour through the alley. I placed them on the desk and crashed on my bed. I was tired as hell. As I was laying on the bed, I heard a small feminine voice, coming from the side of my bed. I saw that the snake was awake.

I quickly got up, and I asked her or it. I am still a little confused. "Can you understand what I am saying?"

The snake nodded, and she hissed, but it sounded like she was speaking clear English, "Thank you for saving me."

I chuckled and laughed and said, "Ah, this is so amazing!" She looked at me and I said, "Oh, I though being related to him has no upsides… but it looks like I do get some benefits."
