29 Ch 29 The Dark Wizard, the Ice Queen and the Potion Princess

It was now 1 Sept 1992

Today was the day when I got back to Hogwarts. This year on the docket for dangerous monsters that can kill the student easily is a snake that can kill you by just looking at you and a giant spider with a legion of its children that likes to eat humans. So I'm really not looking forward to it.

I went to the station early and got a compartment because I didn't want to deal with the problem of not getting through the station. I arrived at the station and I found an empty compartment. I put my briefcase on top with Nimbus and Cotton was still sleeping in my robes. 

She is growing quite fast now she is about 6'2" or something and has gained quite the muscles… She is not as small as she was before. Due to her growth her diet has increased as well, but she still likes to eat chicken and rabbits. So I filled my suitcase with Hens, Roosters and a lot of bunnies.

After settling down I looked out the window and I saw some familiar faces walk by like Neville and Seamus, Hermione and the Weasley's. Hermione waved at me and I waved back.

As I was looking out I heard the door of my compartment being opened, and I turned to look, and it was Daphne. She entered the Compartment with Victoria and Astoria. I looked at them and said "Let me help you with that." I got up and took their trunks and placed them on top and they sat down.

I looked at Victoria and said, "Looks like you made it on time… I thought you'd be late."

She sighed and said, "I almost was... Harry woke up late again and couldn't find his wand... honestly how do you lose track of your wand?"

I chuckled and said, "Well, you are here, that's all that matters…" 

As I was talking to Victoria I felt a gaze on me, I turned to see, and it was Astoria. She looked at me and asked, "Are you the one that my sister has been talking about?" 

I was pleasantly surprised and said, "Ohh… What did your sister say about me?" Daphne was embarrassed and Victoria was enjoying this and asked "What did your sisters say?"

Astoria said, "That you are a genius and are very mature for your age and are very cut...." Daphne gagged her sister and said, "I think that is enough."

After a few moments, the girls just talked. While I just worked on my rune. I was very close to achieving powering the bigger devices. And in a few minutes, the train took off.

It has been a few hours since the journey started. We were all talking and Ginny entered our compartment. 

I looked at her and said, "Hello, there." She just nodded shyly, and then she asked Victoria "Have you seen Ron and Harry?"

Victoria was confused, and she said, "Aren't they supposed to be with you guys?"

Ginny was surprised, and she said, "They were supposed to, but we haven't seen them at all."

Victoria and Ginny were very worried. I was about to say something to them, but then I saw out of the window and said, "Oh, no"

Victoria looked at me and asked, "Oh, no what?" I looked at her and pointed outside out the window, Victoria stood up and looked at where I was pointing, and she saw a blue car flying into the distance following the train.

Victoria was visibly angry and said, "Oh, I am going to kill both of those idiots as soon as they land."

I felt bad for the poor lads even if you survive Snape Victoria would kick your asses.

We reached Hogwarts, Astoria and Ginny went with some other first years on boats and one of them was Luna. After they left we walked to the carriage which at first looked like they were drawn by nothing, but in reality were pulled by Thestrals.

Victoria looked at the Thestrals and was fascinated by them, I said "They are beautiful aren't they?" Victoria looked at them and said, "I wouldn't say beautiful, more like unique." Daphne was confused and asked, "What are you two talking about?"

Victoria was confused and asked, "Can't you see we are talking about these horse-like creatures?"

Daphne was even more confused and asked "What horse-like creatures? There is nothing there"

Victoria then looked at me and I explained to them "Thestrals are beautiful creatures which can only be seen by people who have seen death." and with that, the mood visibly died after that remark. 

Daphne looked very uncomfortable. I looked at those creatures and said "Well, that's enough of sulking around let's get going cause I am hungry."

We then went inside and I in an attempt at elevating the mood said "I have something for both of you." I took out a Cd. They looked at me and asked in excitement "Oh, which song is in there?"

I said, "It is a song written and sung by yours truly." They were surprised and asked, "We didn't know you could sing?"

I said, "I dabbled a little, listen to it and let me know if it is any good?" They nodded and put that CD inside their robes.

About my robes, I didn't like how loose it was, so I made them a bit tighter, so it fits well on me, it looked more like a coat than a robe but technically was still a robe.

We reached the castle and went towards the great hall. As I entered the great hall with Daphne and Victoria. Everyone looked at us. Me because I was a supposed dark wizard, Daphne because she was the ice queen and Victoria because of being a potter and being a potions' prodigy. Some people have started to call her potion princess because she has been helping madam Pomfrey in the hospital wing for over a year with her potions. When we all walked together we had a certain aura of non-approachability.

We sat at our usual spot along the Slytherin table, Ted and Olivia were coming towards us, I got up and hugged ted, then asked how they were. Ted chuckled and said "I'm fine my Dark Lord… and how are you?" 

I chuckled and said, "I am well, my commander?" We both laughed hard at that but to an outsider it looked menacing, while in the eyes of the girls it was apparently stupid

Both of us sat down, and he asked, "So how's the research going on any new products?"

I looked at him and said, "Not at the moment still working on my runes, when I am successful you'll see it, it's going to change entertainment on a whole new level."

He and others were excited to think something better than discman was also in the works was something truly exciting. We then went on talking about how our summer was and what everyone did over the break. It was nice to talk to them in person… I might also start to work on that, it can be very useful as well.

We then stopped talking when the ceremony started. As it started everyone went to their respective Houses without a hitch: Astoria in Slytherin, Ginny in Gryffindor, Luna in Ravenclaw. 

We welcomed Astoria into the house and started eating. After a few minutes we heard a loud crash and thumping noise from the outside, and I knew what was up. Snape took off and so did McGonagall because we had informed them as to what was happening with Ron and Harry and let me tell you McGonagall was mortified when she heard what Harry and Ron were up to.

After the dinner was over I reached my room, cleaned it up a bit, gave her dinner a Hen and then went to sleep.
