The entrance of the crypt was engraved with many complicated and mysterious symbols, which Carter recognized as a kind of ancient runic language from the earlier part of the Middle Ages.

The text of Old Nordic, this text is transformed from the mother writing system of the Elder Futhark. It represents the mystery of the universe in Norse mythology and was comprehended by Odin, the father of the gods, who sits on the world tree.

However, with the passing of time, the script had long been extinct in the world and was gradually replaced by the Latin alphabet after Christianity was introduced into Northern Europe. The modern runes circulated in the present world, such as the Younger Futhark and others, are actually part of the writing system successfully restored by many occultists and archaeologists through their efforts to find and trace ancient documents.
