Chapter 83 : Mastering Law Of Presence (Bonus Chapter)

-Room Of Requirement-

" Alright back to the grind," Orion shouted with determination burning in his eyes.

After watching the difference between Nick and himself, he was determined to master at least the Law Of Presence.

[Are you sure that you want to do this, mastering Law even to just a workable state is no small deal. Let alone doing it just under one night] Merlin said with an irritated tone.

After the DADA class earlier, Orion decided to take a day's vacation with all of his classes and arrive in the Room Of Requirement to train.

"Ha, if there is a will then there is a way Grandpa, now let's start," Orion shouted again.

[Bastard don't shout near my ears] Merlin was irritated as this Orion was nonstop asking him to test out his Law Of Presence. 

[Alright, Law Test 643, start] Merlin said and Orion taking his cue immediately started to connect with his magic and the environment around him.

As Law is the power of the world, Orion has to use his own magic to manipulate the power around him to pull off the Law of Presence.

his eyes were closed as serene expression was on his face, the silence suddenly in the room increased and a thick atmosphere enveloped the entire room.

Then Orion snapped open his eyes, and suddenly the colour started to fade, Spiritual shockwaves spread throughout the room making it look like the space itself was bending under the will of the young wizard.

[CUT]

And with that, everything happening instantly stopped, "What's wrong now," Orion asked with much Ire in his voice.

[You didn't focus, the power of the shock was on point but you let it spread through the room. This way you can't control this and pretty much just imitating Haki from One Piece] Merlin shouted. backed.

TCH.

"Again," Orion shouted.

"Try 644," Orion said and started all over again.

He was already at this for the last 11 hours. It was 1 am right now and Orion didn't even get any rest or food all for just mastering this technique.

[Why you are suddenly so eager to master this Law? It's not like even with this you are any match with Iron.] Merlin said while yawning. Something Orion found strange as Merlin right now was something akin to a spirit or a ghost. Do Spirit even feel sleepy?

"I know, but this is the technique which is standing against me and my grind. Without learning this, I can't restart my force training, I can't delay much on this. Haki or whatever, nothing bigger than the GRIND," Orion said with a huff, his breath hitching as he was almost running out of magic at this point.

[Sigh] Merlin facepalm.

[Fine but take 2 hours of rest, without magic, you can't do jack shit, even your mind needs rest. 

"But I will burn away important time," Orion argues back.

[You will waste more time without magic or concentration. Your body and mind both need rest, after 2 hours at least you will have enough magic to continue. I will wake you up.] Merlin's agitation came down after seeing Orion's determinate look. 

"Hmm, fine then,"

-Room Of Requirement 7 Am-

[Law of Presence Test 1400 no 1456... what was it again ?] Yawning Merlin asked with groggy eyes, Orion thought did even have the energy to question the existence of a ghost who got sleepy. 

"Who fucking care, just test it out and tell me if it works," There were dark circles under Orion's eyes, he too was yawning and struggling to focus.

His eyes close, like those eyelids that carry tons of weight. He almost fell asleep.

[Oi are done already]

"..."

[Orion]

"..." 

[So finally he is out, that one stubborn kid] Merlin sighed with an annoyed face, he was not expecting Orion's to even last this long.

[At least this is done now, the boy clearly needs to learn that he can't master things like Law in just one nig.....] Merlin was muttering to himself but then suddenly his voice hitched.

He felt high pressure surrounding him, and the colour of the world started to fade while he got goosebumps on his body.

The air in the room went still. Merlin's eyes widen in recognition of this feeling, he has felt this before, this was.

Merlin looked at Orion and couldn't help as a smile appeared on his face. 

[Son Of a Gun, this guy]

"I don't give two shits about it anymore. I am calling it Haki, do whatever you want about it," Orion said with a knowing smile on his face.

[Nah! I ain't having it even though you learn this shit under one night] Merlin smirked.

[Come on, come on. You will be late for the day. If you don't attend class today too then most likely the staff will come after you] Merlin said while having much fun making Orion who was barely awake at this point rile up.

"K, Kay... I heard you the first... Yawwwsggss" Orion said in irritation but in between started yawning.

"I seriously need sleep man," Orion muttered to himself.

Somehow he makes his way towards the first class. He already had missed the Breakfast. Not eating anything from yesterday plus no sleep. Yeah, if any emotion right now was ruling him besides sleep then it was anger.

"I already feel sorry for the motherfu*ker who crossed paths with me today," Orion chuckles to himself, just to ease his tense nerves.

Somewhere in the Hogwarts. Two people were talking.

"What did you find about him," asked the boy.

"I... I couldn't find anything special. He hardly spends time with us. Give me more time. This is not enough time to ... " replied the girl but then stopped as the boy intruded.

" Didn't you already have a month...."

"Find but remember, how you perform depends on our deal."

This chapter was not planned, I just ended up writing as things came to me. consider it almost a filler. 

Won't put more of this kind of chapter though, I promise.
