131 Chapter 131 : Orion Vs Nick 5 (Bonus Chapter)
The voice was familiar to Orion, he immediately stopped his attack midway as the red ruby-like magic orb disappeared away in thin air.
"Hermione," Orion said with much disbelief and pain in his voice. He knew that Hermione would be here after he couldn't find her in Hogwarts with the help of Marauder's Map. But how come she suddenly came out on her own, wasn't Nick was holding her hostage ?
"Hermione, what happened? What Nick did to you...
"Lower your hand," Before Orion could complete his sentence. Hermione took out her wand and pointed it towards Orion.
[Oh, here comes the drama] Merlin conjures popcorn from somewhere, knowing somehow that this is gonna be interesting.

"I don't need saving," Hermione quickly said, shutting up Orion. There was confusion and hostility in her eyes.
Orion didn't understand. What was happening here? Did Nick do something? Is he playing with her mind?
[No she is under no magic, I assure you] Merlin while munching on popcorn, said just to keep the action going.
Orion watching Merlin's action was irritated but still only focused on what the old man said. But if it's not the magic which is messing with Hermione's mind then what? False memories are possible.
"Hermione you don't know what you are doing. He is messing with your head. Try to think, that even with false memories, you can find some loopholes. Look into your mind, you will fin...
"Orion there are no false memories. I am sure that he didn't mess with my mind. But ..." Hermione said with much confidence but the last part, she fumbled while looking at Nick. That look was strange.
Something was telling Orion that the situation was more complicated than he was thinking.
"If you think nothing is wrong then why are you pointing your wand at me? Lower it," Orion said while looking at Hermione, trying to find anything which could have caused this.
"I will, after you lower your hand," Hermione said with narrowed eyes.
"And why suddenly do you care this much about him? Someone who was attacking the students with Basilisk. This bastard kidnapped you and even try to kill me and Rose. He manipulated Rose to go to the forbidden forest alone to die." Orion now was getting irritated. He was barely holding himself up in his pain-taken and sleepy state.
At this Hermione was taken a back, by her face itself Orion could tell that she knew nothing of this, and even believe what Orion told her.
"That... It's complicated," Hermione hesitated to answer.
"Yeah, well there are a lot of complications between him and me too you see," Orion replied, clearly angry now. He had enough he once again activated his space law as a red orb appeared in his hand.
'Expelliarmus' Hermione seeing this immediately shot out a non-deadly spell to unharm Orion but just like before. Her magic too never reaches Orion.
'Expelliarmus', she again tried but the same thing happened.
"Forget it, Hermione, we will talk later. Don't interfere here," Orion said as the Red magic in his hand charged up. He was still new to this magic and thus needed time to perform it.
"Petrificus Totalus," Hermione shouted another spell but nothing happened as her magic stopped just a little away from Orion.
"Space Law, RED," Orion said as his attack was ready to blast but just when he was about to launch the attack.
"Clack, Clack Clack,"
Orion immediately stopped. "Hermione what are you doing, get out of there,". Orion shouted after seeing Hermione run in front of Nick and stand in front of him.
"You want to attack then do it, but you have to do it through me," Hermione replied with determination in her voice.
[Oh, this is better than I thought. This is top-tier drama] Merlin thought but he didn't say it aloud, he knew that Orion was getting more and more angry.
"BUT WHY, WHY CARE SO MUCH FOR HIM. GET OUT," Orion let go of his attack and swiped his hand away to use force on Hermione to make her move.
He had to let go of his attack as his other hand was totally burned and was unmoving. Hermione was thrown away, making Nick act as he also jumped to catch her.
"Hey, you want to kill me right, then do so. Don't involve her," Nick said suddenly acting up.
"Good, at least you are not hiding behind the girl," Orion once again created his Red obs but before he could finish it, Hermione once again stood up, though with much difficulty, and stood in front of Nick," No, I won't let your kill him. If you must then you also have to attack me." Hermione shouted.
"..."
Orion now had no idea what he could say. In this situation, he almost felt like he was the villain. Gritting his teeth, he shouted.
"WHY, Why are you so worried about this bastard," Orion asked as his magic was starting to run out, putting him to sleep.
"I... I... I can't say okay, but I just can't let you kill him." Hermione shouted back in hesitation.
"Even if that cost you your life," Orion retorted.
"..."
"Yes,"
"Even if this cost me my life," Hermione said with determination in her voice.
Orion didn't say anything... what can he say now? He is in no condition to kill Nick without harming Hermione. Hell the more time he was wasting here, the more this sleepy state was consuming him. Sooner or later his magic will forcefully put him to hibernate.
Hermione seeing Orion not moving put Nick's arm around her shoulder and helped him stand up. The force attack which Orion used on Nick was powerful, he didn't hold back at all and the magic almost hit Nick like a hammer. It was still considered non-lethal but the power was there, rendering Nick almost unmovable. After all, Nick is still only 12 without much physical protection. He only didn't break a bone because of the enchantments on his school uniform.
Slowly they started to walk toward the gate.
[Oh, you are letting them go.] Merlin asked. But there was no reply from Orion.
But that doesn't mean that he didn't have anything to say. He in fact wanted to shout at Hermione. Why she is doing this? He wanted to go berserk there as his anger was boiling but he controlled himself.
Becuase he convinces himself to kill Nick, but he can't hurt Hermione. There was nothing more to say.
He looked at the sword lying on the floor. He could just use force and assassinate Nick from here. All he has to do is to throw the sword at Nick.
But Hermione is too close to him. If his aim is not right then...
"FUCK" He said with utter fury in his voice, watching both Hermione and Nick leaving the chamber of secret.

[Hmm, well I was not expecting that. Seems like the real imposter was Hermione of all people] Merlin said as he saw Orion hardly holding himself up until both Hermione and Nick were gone before falling down to the ground. His magic finally calmed down, putting him to sleep.
[I wonder what is going on with these two. That's there, the shit just got real!!]
