"Damn! Ancient Runes (AR) are hard, even though I have a few books about it but these forms seemed to be different. The forms of AR engraved in this beaker don't make any sense, accordingly with the books I have. I know that AR was the language used during ancient times, but these could be a different variation of it or maybe they are in code? Probably the guy who wrote this didn't want anyone to read it. Well, at least I think a managed to read 3 words that make sense. Well, I will need to study this further," thought Drake.

He then looked at the book and saw it belongs to a Jacob, he started to read about it and it seems it was about the cursed vaults with a lot of notes on it.

"Well, it seems both things are connected, interesting, very interesting," thought Drake. Before he could continue, he was interrupted by three beasts who ran in his direction.

"Okey, I will continue later…let's go, guys!"

Drake played with Jade and Star before he transformed all the beasts into small normal kitties which he put them on his hat before leaving his suitcase. He left the dorm and instead of going to the great hall, he went outside to Hagrid's hut. He went through the longest path and avoided people since he didn't want to be discovered by anybody.

He arrived at Hagrid's hut shortly since he didn't bump into anyone, Drake knocked on his door, which was opened by Hagrid.

"Hey uncle, how are you?" asked Drake as he entered the hut.

"Hi, Drake! I'm good, but I think yer in trouble" replied Hagrid after he closed the door.

"Oh! Its nothing uncle. By the way, can you take care of these three little girls until the end of the classes?" asked Drake by dismissing the concern looked of Hagrid and looking at the kittens.

"What?! Yer not jokin', are you?! You kno' very well that Dumbledor' has forbidden these fellow' inside Hogwarts!" said Hagrid after looking to the four kittens.

"Oh! C'mon Uncle, I know you are rising Fluffy in the forest you could take them on the walk too, they will love it and they like you, After all, you are the best beast caretaker in the world" said Drake doing puppy eyes together with beasts.

"Oh alrigh', but if they don't behave, I'll tell your dad about it."

"Nice!!! Oka, girls, you heard uncle let's go outside."

They walked outside into the forest and Drake dispelled the transformation spell and the three beasts got back to their former forms.

"Now, you need to behave and obey to uncle…if you don't, you will be punished," said Drake in a serious tone.

All the beast nodded at him and then Hagrid brought them to where fluffy was. Drake went with him and patted Fluffy and gave one more warning to the beasts.

Drake said goodbye to his beasts, Fluffy and Hagrid before he went back to Hogwarts, but Z went after him and didn't leave him after all the talking. So, Drake transformed him into a normal cat and left it on his shoulder.

He went directly into The Great Hall. When he arrived there, in one of the tables he saw few students from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin sitting together in a very tense atmosphere (Katie, Cho, and Scarlett). Before he could sit with them Z ran off.

"Damn it Z! I will have a serious talk with you next time" thought Drake as he watched Z running off. Then, he walked to the table where the three girls were Katie and Cho were glaring at Scarlett.

"Hey ladies sorry for the delay, the I had to do took longer than the expected," said Drake when he arrived at the table.

"Hi Drake, did you miss me?!" replied Cho in a teasing tone. Katie and Scarlett only looked briefly at him before the started the eye contest game.

Drake looked around before saying:

"So, what's up?! Why this atmosphere?!" said Drake. Cho was about to speak with him, but Katie answered first.

"Well, someone invited a snake to lunch, but that someone wasn't here so, the snake decided to join us, and you know that our house and snakes house cant mix," responded Katie sarcastically.

"Hmm…so, all this tension is just about that? You know Katie that thought is wrong. We can befriend with Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, but you can't with Slytherin?! That's just discrimination and you are sounding more like a snake than a lioness" answered Drake.

"And if both houses can't mix each other why do we have classes together? Also, we can study together and there are no restrictions about being together too. So, I didn't see any problem," continued Drake.

"Yeah, I agree with Drake," said Cho.

"Me too, only you Gryffindor students don't seem to like us" commented Scarlett.

"But…" started Katie before being interrupted by Drake.

"C'mon Katie! First, try to meet Scarlett then you can judge her, I invite her because she seemed to be friendly (I won't say to them that I was blackmailed by her) and she doesn't seem like the other snakes. Although, I don't agree with you Scarlett about what you said. The Slytherin house is the main culprit for this division but that comes from the past."

"Yeah, I agree with Drake too after what I have read," said Cho.

"Well, I'm not like them so maybe we can make a temporary truce until we know each other?" replied Scarlett before she brought her hand in front of Katie.

"Okey, fair enough. Let's start again with the introduction" answered Katie.

"Then, I'll start first! As you know already my name is Drake.

"Mine is Cho."

"I'm Katie!"

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Scarlett and I'm the first student of the special program for foreigner students."

When Scarlett introduced herself, Drake paid extra attention to her and last part of the sentence

"Strange, very strange…I need to speak with dad quickly," thought Drake while the three girls started to talk with each other. It seems they are now best friends when a few moments before they were almost tearing each other apart.

"Well, girls are hard to understand" whispered Drake seeing this.

"Hey, Drake you didn't eat yet?" asked Scarlett.

"Nope and I'm hungry as a dragon" replied Drake while he started eating the lunch that the girls picked for him.

"Well, we will wait for you to finish eating" replied Cho followed with a nod by Katie.

On the other hand, Scarlett started to laugh when Drake said the last part. As they were eating and talking, two loud voices appeared in The Great Hall

"Heheheheh! Drake since the first time I saw, I knew that we would friends. You are the most awesome first year that Hogwarts had in this century" said a loud voice entering The Great Hall, followed by another one.

"You are right George! Not even us in our first year did that!" said Fred.

They arrived at the table and sat with Drake and the girls.

"What's up guys?" asked Drake.

"Oh boy! Don't even start avoiding the subject! We want to know, how did you do it?" asked both twins at the same time.

"Do what?" replied Drake with a question.

"Oh c' mon, don't be like that if you tell us we can give you something cool," said Fred almost in a whisper.

"What the hell guys?! You sit here and started to pester him and didn't even greet us? You two are a bunch of idiots and pricks!" said Katie while she started to get pissed because of the twins.

"Hey! Miss Katie just get you hormones down, we aren't going to take the blondie from you?! We don't swing that away hehehehehe!" said George

"Nicely done brother!"

"You two are just a bunch of dickheads!" said Scarlett, this time with a frown.

Before any of the twins could respond, Drake interjected.

"Okey, what did you two want to know?"

"C' mon?! We only know you since yesterday, but we know that the dung bomb that exploded in Snape secretary wasn't Peeves idea. It could only be you and from yesterday events, I bet all my money that was you, who did it!" said George with a very low tone

"Yup, we know it was you! So, you can tell us how you do it and we in return will give you something cool, very cool."

Before they could continue, three girls looked at Drake very amazed by what they just heard.

"You did what?!" asked the three girls

"Not now, I will explain you three when I finished with these two red heads!" said Drake to the three while he looked around the hall and saw most of the students looking their way." Then he turned to the twin and said:

"Okay, okay fine but only after classes" replied Drake whispering.

"Hahahahaha! We did George!

"Yes, we did Fred, yes we did. We will see each other after class!" said Fred while making assign for George to follow him.

When the twins left them, Drake saw the 3 girls looking at him with inquisitive looks.

"What?! I didn't do it, I was all the time with you!"

"Then, if you didn't do it why did you say yes to them?" asked Cho.

"Well, it was just to shut them up" replied Drake.

"I think we should let him eat first before we question him thoroughly, our lunch break is almost finishing up," said Scarlett.

While Drake was eating and talking with the girls, inside the headmaster office, Dumbledore, Professor Snape, and Professor McGonagall were talking

"Severus, you could at least take a shower before you came here, you stink…" said Dumbledore playing with Snape since the bomb wasn't so strong and smelly as other ones.

"I agree with Albus, you are in urgent need of a shower Severus," said professor McGonagall giggling.

"I don't care about a shower! I only want to know, what fuck are you two going to do about that insolent prick?!" said Severus in a very, very angry tone.

"Well, first you need to calm down Severus, you are too angry…" said Dumbledore but before he could finish it Snape interrupted him.

"OF COURSE! I'm pissed!"

"Okey, okay, but how do you know it was him? Did you saw him putting the dung bomb under your secretary or does any student saw? Because you know well that we have been observing him since…since you have come here, and he never admitted. Even thought, I think he should be punished, but professor McGonagall is the headteacher of Gryffindor house so she will be the one deciding the punishments."

"I don't care, I know it was him and I hope the he would receive a severe punishment!" finished Snape while he started leaving in a very fast pace without caring about the answers.

Dumbledore and Minerva looked at each other and sighed, it was the first time that a boy would cause so much ruckus in two days.

"Albus, you need to do something…it's the second day and he already angered the sorting hat and Severus, if this keeps going, you will get a lot of attention from the board directors and we don't want that. Imagine if they discover that Drake is your son, only a handful of people know that you adopted a child."

"I know, Minerva…I know but what can I do? Last night I spoke with him about the pranks, but it was all the same as the other times. Now with Peeves and those twins, I think this will only get worse" said Dumbledore in a very tired tone.

"You need to have a serious talk with him Albus, he is your son and a student of this school. I will take 70 points to Gryffindor even if he didn't do nothing it could only be one of my house students and he will be in detention with Mr. Filch."

"You do what you have to do Minerva, that's why you are the headteacher of Gryffindor house…hehehehe! I don't remember when Gryffindor house started with so many negative points" chuckled Dumbledore.

"Why are you laughing Albus, this is serious!"

"I know, but it's getting more interesting this way and he may start to have a bad reputation but only with the boys because with the girls he is scoring points hehehehe!"

"You are always the same Albus, I hope you have a very serious talk with him. Now I'm going to give a class," said Minerva while she walked out of his office.

"He is going to be a great wizard for sure, should I tell him about what I have discovered about his family?! Nah, this would only put him under more stress and this year is going to be very interesting too!" thought Dumbledore as he watched Minerva walking out.
