Gaining an admission into one of the most prestigious university in Nigeria was a piece of cake to me or so I thought.

Let me introduce myself. It's just a little introduction about myself and where I come from.

I'm Agboola Aderonke Aminat. I came from a polygamous family. My dad has two wives, with the second wife being the most favored one, it's same with the case of every polygamous family in Nigeria. It's a logic thing, if you love your first wife dearly, you won't think of having a second wife. It's as simple as that. Nonetheless, My Father loves his children dearly and I like to think I'm the most favored one, lol. That's not true but I like to think that. Well, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. I'm the second child in my family and I'm not really excited about that. That's what I want you to know about myself for now, you will know the rest as time goes on.

One of my greatest achievement is gaining an admission into Obafemi Awolowo University as a chemical engineer. Funny enough, I never thought of chemical engineering until I was scrolling through the number of courses they have in OAU and seeing chemical engineering intrigues me. Initially, I wanted to study Aviation, and I know it's extremely expensive for a comfortable family. Though, my dad was sure that he could afford it but I knew better than to go for it. There are a lot of things at stake and you'll know what I'm talking about as time goes on.
