13 Chapter 13: The Option

Noah woke up and felt a mild pain in his stomach. He could feel the comfort of the spring bed covered with a soft silk sheet.

‘This definitely not my bed.’ He thought and opened his eyes.

He was surprised to find himself in a large bedroom filled with luxurious furniture. ‘This must be inside the Silvermoon mansion! I thought I will never come here again…’

He observed the surroundings and realized he was the only one in the room, ‘I must escape, now!’ He mentally warned himself.

He found out that there were two options to exit his room, either through the window or the door.

He walked to the window first and opened the curtain, but quickly jaded after he saw it was an iron-grated window.

So he switched to another alternative exit, the door, but before he touched the knob, the door was suddenly opened, and a boy came to enter.
