After taking a giant leap over the river, for the first time since this hell hole of a story started, Jaxx was finally able to see the appearance given to him by Mona from the reflection of the water.

As he looked down he saw a loli's figure with a face full of excitement. Her adorable face looked to be that of a 14 year old with cherry pink lips that perfectly matched her comfy but stylish clothes and her long flowing pink hair.

She had lightly tanned skin with big dazzling brown-pink eyes that would bring serenity to anyone that looked at them, but what was the most eye catching were her sharp looking brown and red ears that pointed upwards like horns and stuck out an inch or so off her head.

In those few moments she spent above the water it was as if all the struggles and tension that clouded her mind and body washed away.

'Gorgeous...'

The small pink figure dove into the raging river, being thrown about in the currents as Camellia finally remembered one crucial detail...

'I... can't swim...'

YOU IDIOT!! What loser remembers something this important after diving into water?! That's like remembering you're allergic to peanuts after eating a bowl full!!

Now this stupid loli is just flailing about uselessly at the surface of the water like a drowning infant!

Meanwhile this scary ass spider monkey beast is chasing beside her on land!! Charging forwards on all fours... or i guess all eights...

'Dammit, I'm almost at the edge of the water this isn't good... If I get thrown off and get the wind knocked out of me I'm done for.'

Taking one last deep breath as she flailed about, Camellia then dove under the water hoping to lose the crazy monkey.

Being thrown about for another second or so underwater Camellia was suddenly shot out into the air about three or four feet away from the edge. Taking advantage of the situation she opens her mouth taking in a large breath of fresh air while opening her eyes to judge how far she fell. Only to have a large shadow looming over her, blocking out the fresh sunset.

'You've got to be kidding me... This crazy monkey bastard! You really jumped off a waterfall for this small amount of meat?!'

Crashing into the small sized pond below followed by the large adult human sized monkey beast soon after.

Being shocked by the sudden crash, Camellia was stunned for a few moments.

'Open your eyes dammit! That stupid monkey is probably-'

Suddenly the spider monkey grabbed her two shoulders and waist tightly. It then started wildly trying to bite her small face only to be held back at the neck by both of her fragile looking forearms.

'They look small, but I guess they aren't all that weak after all!'

With time ticking away underwater, the spider monkey started to get impatient with its failed biting attempts so it started scratching at her back and shoulder blades.

'Gah! That hurts you bastard! Touching a little girl like this?!Fine, you asked for this!'

With one big knee to the crotch, the monkey instantly screamed out in pain only to swallow a bit of water making it loosen its grip.

seizing this prime opportunity she grabs the monkeys throat as it tried to swim away and pulled herself on top of it, kicking with all the strength in her legs to keep both of them underwater.

'Die pervert bastard monkey... spider? beast... DONT CARE!'

As the monkeys eyes slowly rolled back into his head and his arms started to float limply, the exhausted Camellia stopped kicking and let their bodies flow out towards the shallow parts of the water.

As the two bodies washed up onto a part of the pond that was only deep enough for a foot bath, the soaked blob of pink suddenly jumped up in a fighting stance.

'Is it dead? It's dead right? I hope it died! Stupid pervert monkey!'

"Ah... right."

Leaning back towards the unmoving beast, two slender and pale fingers cautiously pushed onto the beast's neck.

"Whew.."

'No pulse... good...'

"HELL YEA!!!!"

'My first fight! And I freaking won and it wasn't even close!'

She is on the verge of passing out.

'Now what? I found water and food, but I still have no way to cook it let alone somewhere safe to eat it.'

Looking up at the quickly darkening sky her face frowned slightly.

'Every survival guide I've ever read says to prioritize shelter and warmth, yet here I am with neither. I'm soaked too, if I don't hurry I might catch cold...'

After quickly scanning her surroundings Camellia decided to take a few gulps of water before gazing back at her first kill.

After hearing a loud beep her consciousness almost faded. Her eyes rolled far back into her skull and slouch backwards in an exhausted manner only to fall to the floor moments after.

After following the trail the small child had left for him for about half a day, the mysterious man finally ran to a dead end running into a river near the top of a waterfall.

'8-armed prints... There's no use, she's probably gone by now.'

After letting out a sigh the man started to turn around until he heard a slightly muffled scream not too far from him.

"HELL YEA!!!"

It was actually the victory screech from our... 'beloved' MC!

After the sound had faded the burly man instantly started running in the direction of the waterfall, turning near invisible to the naked eye. Within just mere seconds of running the man arrived at the edge of the waterfall, it was a distance that took the semi drowning loli nearly a minute to reach even though the currents did almost all the work for her.

Watching the small dripping and ragged pink figure from afar, what he saw was... kind of weird?

She seemed tired, but then she jumped with energy?

Then confused, relieved... Perverted? Why is she laughing like that...

She then suddenly jumped in shock with a smile on her face, then she clasped her hand like she was praying... Then slumped over with her eyes rolling back?

'Dammit, she's!'

Vanishing in place it seemed as if the giant figure teleported, catching the small teen like figure in his old callused hands with forearms three quarters the size of her abdomen... In length...

If Camellia saw something as big as him disappear she would instantly think he has an ability akin to 'Instant transmi**ion.'

After quickly making sure the small injured girl in his hands was still alive he quickly glanced at the spider monkey in complete awe.

There was a ranking system in the jungle that the newborn MC clearly didn't know about, and this 'stupid pervert monkey' was nothing to scoff at for even an adult warrior to fight. Although they were easy to fight in groups, the monkeys themselves usually fought in groups of up to 5 making them a serious problem.

Not to mention this monkey in particular was actually already covered in old wounds and seemed as if it was completely starving with a sunken in stomach.

'Hm... Not bad, you should do just fine.'

Throwing the loli over his shoulder he then picked up the monkey beast and carried it under his shoulder, walking off into the distance.
