2 Have we been kidnapped?!

"What the FU#€ is going on?"

A momentary silence followed.

The wind blew on the trees and the leaves rustled one after another. Chatters of animals and insects were heard in the background. The eerie silence would have caused goosebumps to appear all over their skins. But nobody could really give him a satisfying answer.

They stared at each other, hoping that one of them had at least an inkling of an idea about the situation they were in.

Sieg had his own thoughts but he dared not talk about them out loud:" This doesn't make any sense at all. Not a single of one us has any clue of what is going. We wake up in an unknown location and there is nothing that could tell us about our current status. It doesn't matter if our surroundings are unknown to us but we weren't even tied up. And secondly ..." Sieg touched his back under his shirt and felt something sticky. When he looked closer at his hand, it turned out to be blood and cursed with a still contemplating expression on his face:" Shit!"

"What is going on? Have you realized something?", asked Anastasia with a hopeful look in her eyes.

Sieg felt uncomfortable talking about it. He wasn't even sure if what he just thought about was possible or not.

"Spit it out, man. We have nothing on our plate, so you might as well say something. Even if it's stupid.", Jafar could somehow sense how his friend felt, but now was not the right time for hesitation.

"Sigh!", Sieg didn't want to let his thoughts come out, even if they were just speculations because the moment they were spoken, one could not take them back and they might even come true. But as things stood he couldn't stay still and do nothing.

"First we woke up here in this forest. Only the three of us in the immediate surroundings. No one remembers anything after having gone to sleep in their rooms. So the first thought that should come to our minds is that we were kidnapped. But kidnappers have desires and intentions. No one bothers kidnapping people for no reason, but we weren't even aware of how and when we got kidnapped. This already shows the degree of professionalism the kidnappers must have had.", when Sieg said this, Anastasia frowned a little. Just a little. But as agitated as Jafar felt he would have even seen flies flying several meters ahead, not to mention a frown in his surroundings.

"What is wrong? Have you thought of something?", he asked her.

"I, I don't ...", she stuttered a little but she had already exposed here thoughts so she couldn't back out now. She looked down on the ground and spoke with a weak voice: "My, my papa is working with the Russian government and handles business relationships between several foreign companies ... I have heard of rumours that some shady companies use underhanded methods to blackmail people and achieve their goals ... I am afraid that our situation was caused because of me." When she finished speaking she looked really depressed and the boys could see her guilt directly on her face.

"Let me finish speaking first before we jump into wild speculations", said Sieg and continued," as I said before, kidnappers have desires and intentions. They would want to use us as leverage to get a ton of money from our parents. Or plan other unspoken things with their victims.... So why are we here in a forest, free with no restrains binding us? We woke up without any ropes tied upon us. Does that make sense if we were really kidnapped? Shouldn't we be kept in check somewhere near a low-level guard? That's how I would imagine it", and talked further in his mind," based on my experiences from movies and books at least."

Anastasia sighed in relieve at first but then frowned yet again and asked:

"So if we were not kidnapped what did then happen to us? How did we get here otherwise?"

Sieg thought back to before. A couple of minutes ago when he checked his back he found small bloodstains on his fingers. This was in itself nothing abnormal. He had a little acne on his back and sometimes little pimples grew up which he squished out of habit. But that specific place that his hands touched upon. He was sure that he squished it just before he went back to sleep. But if they were kidnapped while the wound did also not dry up yet ... then the time difference between these two events could not have been more than an hour or so. But this was just impossible. How could it be possible to kidnap three people, drug them completely and stealthily, and then transport them to an unknown forest all within just an hour? As far as he observed his surroundings, nothing seemed really familiar to him. It shouldn't be within the surroundings of his hometown. Everything seemed strange.

Jafar added:

"Isn't it also weird that it's just the three of us here? Why are we three in particular here in this situation?"

It was as if thunder and lighting had struck Sieg's mind when he heard this and his body trembled slightly:

"You are right! You are absolutely right! This does not make sense at all! The only connection we three have is that we are from the same school. From the same class. So if the three of us got stranded here then ...", just as he was about to finish his thoughts, suddenly a scream echoed from the far distance,

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
