4 Chapter 4: This Suicide is Really Anticlimactic

Xiao Yu'an's body was getting worse by the day. However, he didn't plan to extend his life with expensive procedures. He donated to a hospital anonymously and transferred the rest of his assets to one single account.

After doing all of that, Xiao Yu'an quietly left the hospital, and went to an isolated nursing home.

This was a high end nursing home, even middle-class families had a hard time affording it. People couldn't help but sigh. Capitalism is such a black market! The blood of the working class!

Xiao Yu'an was familiar with the way to the fairly luxurious room.

A nurse that was just leaving the room was shocked to see him. "Mr Xiao?"

"How is he feeling today?" he asked

"He's doing alright."

"Is that so? That's good."

"Are you going in to visit him, Mr Xiao?"

"Yeah, can you tell the others not to come in, even if they hear something."

"Alright," The nurse nodded and lightly walked away.

Xiao Yu'an took a deep breath, and looked at his phone.

Yup, the company had been dealt with, there was no problem with his written will.

Just as he was about to put his phone away, the novel site suddenly gave a notification.

Xiao Yu'an originally thought it was just a hate reply to his previous comment, and normally, Xiao Yu'an wouldn't even take a look.

But today was different, following his own curiosity, he took a look at the notification.

It wasn't just a hate mail.

Not only that, the messenger and it's contents surprised him.

The message was the author, and it only contained one line.

"Only you understand him."

Understand?

Understand who? The male lead?

After questioning it, Xiao Yu'an put away his phone, opened the door, and entered.

The room was spacious, and the curtains that ran to the floor were swaying slightly in the wind. In the center of the room was a young man in a wheelchair, shoving a cat into a fish tank.

He looked at the drowning cat as it struggled to live. Not even looking up as he heard him enter.

"What are you doing?" Xiao Yu'an walked to his side.

"The nurses said that it likes fish. But the fish are in the water, so I'm helping it." The man's voice was unshaken.

"Is that so…," Xiao Yu'an whispered to himself. "Oh right, I'm leaving."

The man shook as he snapped his head up to look at Xiao Yu'an. The cat took this chance and escaped, spilling water all over the floor.

"For how long?" He asked.

"I'm never coming back," Xiao Yu'an answered.

The man nodded, wheeling himself over to the tea table. Then he took a cup and threw it at Xiao Yu'an.

The cup flew straight to Xiao Yu'an's head, the pain bursting forth alongside the sound of the cup shattering.

Xiao Yu'an's became dizzy, and when he covered his forehead with his hand, blood seeped out through his fingers, painting his face red.

"Do you still remember what you said at Mother's grave?" The young man asked.

"Yeah, I remember." Xiao Yu'an took a deep breath, trying to relieve the pain from his head.

"What did you say?!!" he suddenly screamed.

"I said I'd take care of you for the rest of my life for her."

"What else!!"

"If I don't do it, I'll go die…"

"Then die."

"I…I transferred all the assets to your account, you…"

"Die! Die!"

"Take good care of yourself. I'm sorry."

"Shut up! Go die!"

"I will." Xiao Yu'an walked over to the floor to ceiling window, opened it, and leapt from the 5th story.
