chapter 3:missing kid

*sangjun's pov* i

I have to cross a dark street, if i want to get home. The other street is relatively full of people, but at this hour i have to cross a lit up street, but it's full of creepy bastards. I walk to the dark street and everything seems normal; when I'm about to get home someone tapped my shoulder; i turn around too see a little girl with bruises.

"please help me! the scaryman will get me!"the little girl shouted crying, "are you okay? and where are your parents?!" i said.

"I'm a missing kid in another town and i escaped from the scaryman in that direction!"she pointed to the east side of the street. I pick her up quicky preparing my gun, seconds later i see a man appear out of no where from where the little girl was pointing. I pointed the gun on the man

"hey Kimono lets go home.."the man said softly, not softly enough for me to be fooled.

"no! you abused me! you kidnapped me from my real family!" the little girl said.

I got even more angry and wanted to shoot but don't want kimono to be even more scared. I will just warn kimono, I warned Kimono, she covered her ears. I immediately shot the man, and ran to my house. I called the police and ambulance. 10 min. later the police and ambulance arrived; the nurse picked up the man and put him in a bed in the ambulance. The police questioned the missing kid and checked the other kids in the list of missing kids and they see Kimono's name on it.

We found the home that kimono lived in; when we knocked the neighbors said that there were no one there. I questioned him and it turns out that the owner of this house has been murdered last week. We asked the neighbors who the owner is; they said Kimono's family.

They are not sure if there daughter is dead or not but she's missing. Kimono cried; i picked her up and started to comfort her so she can stop crying.

minutes later; kimono stopped crying and fell asleep. I took her home and lay her down on the couch. As i was about to go to my room, someone knocked on the door. I slowly opened it and saw hang soon and sojeon.

"he---" jangsoo greeted but i quickly cut him off "

"shhhhhh there is a child sleeping here don't shout!" i whispered and kind off screamed.

"whose kid?" sojeon asked.

"its a kid i saved kinda?.."i said trying to be humble.

"ok?..." sangjun responded as they went inside quietly.

they see kimono on the couch and approuch her.

"she's so cute!" jangsun whispered,

"yeah she's cute "sojeon said too.

"of course she's cute, but i'm sorry for her"

i said,

"why are you sorry did something happen?"

they both said

"oh her parents just died last week"i said.

"what happened? i'm sorry for her...."they both said. they looked at each other and laughed

"her parents was murdered and if i wasn't there she would be too..." i said.

"you know what lets just forget about this and sleep." we fell asleep rather quickly as it was 1am on the clock. I woke up with someone lightly tapping me.

"Mr.. i'm sorry to bother you but can i eat something?"kimono said.

"of course you can eat whatever you want there is food in the fridge let me take you there.!" i said.

When i tried to stand up i can't. I turn around and see sojeon hugging me. I tap him lightly and move his hand blushing. I stood up and took her to the fridge. I wash my face and brush my teeth. i walk tru the door and see kimono sitting on the couch.

"lets go what do you want to eat?" i ask

"ummm can i eat...ramen with eggs? i haven't ate that for 8 months...." she said; How much trauma did this kid have to go thru? poor kimono.

"ok i will just cook it do you want anything else?" i ask.

"no" kimono said. I cooked the ramen with eggs and prepared it. I finished it and put it on the table where kimono is sitting. kimono tasted the ramen and smiled.

"is it good?" i said. She nodded; i smiled. After kimono finished the ramen, sojeon and jangsoo woke up.

"good morning sleepy head" I said to the two

"good morning cherry" they both said.

"where did you get that from?" i said. they both winked at eachother.

"this morning when i hugged you. you looked like a cherry" sojeon said.

i looked at them in disbelief and lightly blush.

"f-"i covered my mouth and glared at them.

"go get dressed were going to the park and sojeon jangsoo behave yourself.

i picked up kimono and changed her clothes, we walk outside until we were in the park. I bought kimono to the playground and let her played there for 20 minutes. We got home and i bought some toys for kimono so she had a distraction from grieving her parents death.

i lay down on my bed and search thru facebook i see Kim's account; i clicked on it and saw that she is online. i search kim on google and saw that she escaped prison. i really got to learn some fighting skills, i will just buy a punching bag. Since that day; i trained everyday while having time to take care of kimono. i got to go to school now so i don't have much time training and got to hang out with kimono, or i will just take her to school that's an option to, but i don't think that safe and hiring a babysitter isn't safe either, so i got to take online class. That will work if i got online class, but the thing is how to protect kimono. Maybe i can just hire a bodyguard to guard the whole house, but that is still a little bit dangerous.

I don't want kimono to be kidnapped again, but i don't want to get kidnapped either. Fuck it; i will just protect the person i love. If Kimono dies: it's all my fault! Even if this is not that safe, it's better than having a stranger to babysit and guard kimono.

The only person I'll protect is Kimono, and that is final.
