2 Chapter 1: The Beginning Part 2

"You.... YOU!!!" He yelled, pointing the gun at me. I held my hands up in defense as he snarled and glared at me. "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!!" He added, his hand shaking.

A little dramatic, but okay...

"I didn't take *everything* from you, I just had your account taken down!" I said, in an accidentally joking manner, which he quickly turned his gun to my computer and shot it, causing it to spark and burn.

"H-Hey! I built that mysel-" I stammered before I was cut off.

"SHUT THE HELL UP!!" He yelled, pointing the gun at me again. "What's your password?!" He demanded.

Before I could refuse he shifted his hand, intimidating me. "I SAID WHATS YOUR PASSWORD?!" He screamed and I got defensive again.

"Okay okay okay!!" I said quickly. "My password is Abby'sDaBest..." I said. I made my password that because of my little sister Abby, who I would agree is "da best."

Sure enough, he pulled out his phone and entered my account info, and it opened my account. "Good! Glad you're somewhat reasonable!" He said, with a sinister smile. "Now die for your crimes against gamers..."

I heard those words and my eyes widened, and I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. "W-Wait! Please recons-"

BANG!!

Darkness...

An empty void...

It's cold here.... is this what Death is?

Well, I suppose I'll finally be at peace...

"Hello?" A voice echoed through the darkness. I was confused... was someone trying to bring me back?

"Wake up!" I heard the same voice..... so it must have been a dream.... it sounds like Abby's back home early and I must've passed out at my computer after the exchange....

"WAKE UP!!!" I heard less of an echo as someone slapped me awake... I started to stir. "A-Abby.... I'll be up in five minutes...." I groaned at my little sister, until I was slapped again, which woke me right up. I sat up in one quick motion.

"Alright! If you don't stop doing that, I'm gonna make sure mom.... doesn't.... Huh??" I took a closer look and realized this wasn't my little sister. Instead I realized I was looking at a rather pretty blonde girl. She looked about my age, actually.

"Oh thank the gods you woke up!!" She exclaimed, hugging me tightly. So tight I though I would've choked to death if she hadn't let go.

I guess she could see my pain, because she immediately went to apologizing. "I'm so so so so sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"It's alright, it's alright!" I said, kinda nervous that I was talking to a girl right now, and it wasn't about doing their homework! "But can you tell me why I'm here?" I asked as I realized where I was. I wasn't in my own home. In fact I was nowhere that I recognized. I was sitting on grass next to a tree, in a meadow so perfect you could only find it in a museum! Plenty of cows, flowers, and everything else you'd imagine!

"Oh! You're in Tekkam!" She exclaimed. Again, it seems she could see my confusion because she went on to explain about how it was one of the 29 states of some magical country, but I wasn't paying attention. It is hard to pay attention when you're freaking out. I realized judging by the name of the state I seem to be within some magic world. This is kinda crazy, and she could tell I wasn't paying attention because she stopped talking about it and was now trying to calm me down again.

"A-Ahh, Sorry!" I exclaimed. "I'm not sure I'm following on the whole Tekkam thing. I'm from Japan, not wherever this is...." I admitted, which made her eyes light up.

"So then... You're from another world!?" She asked excitedly. I couldn't help but laugh from pure excitement! I really am in a Magical New World! The question of course remains of what else there is to learn about this place. But I'm sure I'll learn that in due time. Though.... I wonder how she figured out my origin so fast...

I asked her to repeat what she said earlier about this place, and I think I've got it down.

Basically, I'm in a normal country..... well, normal as in it's like America, or Japan. They hold different sections of their respective continents. This country is home to powerful magic users, and I happened to end up in Tekkam, which is one of the states that birthed one of five super powerful Wizards.

In other words, ending up here means I have a lot of potential, as she puts it. She also said these wizards are basically the magic judges. They determine what spells can and can't do like judges in a court.

I found that last part a little strange, but that's probably just me... After a bit of time passed, I decided to make the first move at a conversation. "So... I don't believe I got your name." I said to her, and her face lit up.

"Oh! Right! My name is Aiko! Aiko Holy-Hand!" She said, which made me a title confused.

"Your last name is Holy-Hand??" I asked immediately. I didn't want to seem rude, it just was odd getting used to these naming systems.

"Yeah. My ancestors were born to this clan after the man who started it all was claimed to have had his dominant hand blessed by a powerful deity. So any time he wielded a weapon against a foe, it was powerful enough to defeat them in no more than three attacks!" She explained, holding up three fingers near the end of it. Gotta say, she's a damn good explainer! Even I was intrigued by such a family lineage. "So, what's your name?" She then asked, and I shrugged.

"I'm Shibuya. Shibuya Tamotsu. My family wasn't much." I admitted, looking more at our surroundings. She wanted me to join her on the path to her home town. Around us was mostly forest, which was divided to form this path. I saw lots of fairies, horned puppies, and other strange creatures you'd find in some strange fantasy novel. Good thing this isn't one of those!

Eventually we stumbled upon a sign. The sign read "Rimehand". Aiko smiled and cheered, doing a little dance. "Yeah!! We finally made it!" She exclaimed, grabbing my hand and rushing us along towards the actual town. I felt my face get hot. Like I said before, I've only had girls talk to me for favors. Much less take me by the hand and run with me, looking genuinely happy the whole time! I swear my heart skipped a beat or two on the way there.

So... I now have begun an epic adventure with a pretty girl and get to experience what magic is actually like! I can't wait!
