22 Meet the family

It was Saturday, Ukake was traveling to a town far from the city where he lived. It is assumed that there he would meet his grandparents and other people in his family.

"Well, we're almost there," Ai said a little excited.

"I hope your father doesn't continue to annoy me ..." Rentarou said with a sigh.

It seems that Rentarou did not have the approval of Ai's father, although he focused on his mother's approval.

"Is there anything I need to remember before I talk to my family again?" Ukake asked.

"No, not really and if there is something, they will probably tell you," Ai said with a slightly worried smile.

'Well, whatever it is, I don't think it's of much importance.' Ukake thought if Ai was reluctant to tell him it was because it wasn't important.

"Well, we're here ..." Rentarou said with concern.

In front of them, they were in front of a traditional Japanese complex. It seemed that the Amamiya family were not people without money, but they did not seem to have excessively too much.

Ai happily knocked on the door while Rentarou hid a bit.

Someone opened the door.

"MOMMY!" Ai exclaimed while hugging her.

"M-Mother-in-law!" Rentarou was happy that his mother-in-law opened the door and not his father-in-law.

"Ai-Chan, Rentraou-Kun, nice to see you again." Exclaimed the lady.

She was quite similar to Ai, only with a few extra years.

"Who is this boy?" Grandma asked as she looked at Ukake.

Ukake raised an eyebrow at this.

"Ah, he is Mai's son ... He was, we decided to adopt him," Ai said almost on the verge of tears.

'This is strange ... Couldn't my own grandmother recognize me?' Ukake thought.

Ukake decided not to ask questions and just bowed respectfully.

"Nice to meet you, Grandma," Ukake said peacefully.

"But what a kind young man, it is a pleasure to meet you, although we had already met before, when you were a little boy, you have changed so much that I could not recognize you," Grandma said as she squeezed Ukake's cheeks.

It would certainly be difficult for someone to recognize Ukake if they compared him to the one from three years ago, but it was rare that his grandmother did not know the situation or anything.

"Kim, look who's here!" The grandmother yelled.

An older man came out of the house to greet the guests.

A face of joy appeared when he saw his daughter, but then it was replaced by one of disappointment when he saw Rentarou and right after by one of confusion when he saw Ukake.

"Hello daughter, I see you brought ... this boy, but who is that child?" Asked the grandfather.

"This is Ukake, Mai-chan's son," Ai said.

"I see, I have learned about the recent events, it is a joy to see that he is now with you," Grandpa said.

"Nice to meet you, Grandpa," Ukake said as he bowed respectfully and got out of his grandmother's grasp.

"Hohoho, you seem to be a good boy as well as handsome," Grandpa said with a smile.

"Ukake, why don't you go look around the house? It's quite big." Ai said with a condescending tone.

"I will, but I remind you that I am not a child," Ukake said as he left there and headed to the courtyard.

It was clear that he knew that she simply wanted to get rid of him to talk about other things.

"I think it was a bad idea to send him to look around the house, Ji-a is over there," Grandpa said.

Hearing this Ai almost spit out blood.

...

Ukake just walked around and found a little man-made pond that had some pretty colorful and pretty fish.

As he looked at the fish, he noticed someone approaching from behind, but he didn't deign to turn around.

"Hello, who are you?" Asked a girl.

"My name is Ukake Amamiya, I suppose if you live here we are technically cousins," Ukake said reluctantly to look away.

"Amamiya? But ... You sound like an old friend." Said the girl.

Ukake raised an eyebrow.

Ukake turned his gaze to see who was speaking to him, but at that moment he felt disgusted hateful annoyance and even anger. All these emotions were manifested by seeing the face of the girl who spoke to him, although there was nothing wrong with it, in fact, she was quite cute.

the only problem was that she knew this girl. She was from a hentai Doujinshi of the Netorare genre. Ukake guessed that they were probably unfaithful in his other life and ended up hating every character in every NTR story he knew. (A / N: Reason is not lacking, in his previous life the only girlfriend she had made him ntr.)

The girl blushed a little when she saw who it was and then she hugged Ukake.

"You haven't come here for three years!" The girl exclaimed a bit annoyed.

He pushed her away quickly.

"I don't know you, and I ask you to respect my personal space ..." Ukake said with some disgust, but without changing his stoic expression.

"You do not remember me?" Asked the shocked girl.

Ukake simply shook his head.

"You also don't remember the promise we made?"

Ukake gulped.

"Did we by any chance promise to get married in the future?" He asked with a smile that didn't exactly represent happiness.

"Exactly, I see that you haven't completely forgotten me!" Exclaimed the girl.

Ukake burst out laughing.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but this is a common cliché among childhood friends, I am not getting married," Ukake said clearly remembering what he read.

"But we promised that we would marry to always be together and have fun!" The girl seemed reluctant to admit the truth.

"I think I should tell you that I have amnesia, I don't remember making that promise, plus you should know that this 'old friend' no longer exists, I don't remember what it was like before I woke up and even if I did, I wouldn't want to be married to you. " Ukake said with annoyance.

It was illogical to be upset with someone who has done nothing wrong, at least not yet, but Ukake couldn't forget what he had read, especially when he probably felt identified and just as bad as the protagonist of that Doujinshi.

"You say you don't remember me, but I can see that you really dislike me." The girl said with pity in her voice.

"Well, if you can see it, then I don't need to clarify," Ukake said in a cold tone.

The girl ran out of the place, probably emotionally hurt.

Ukake simply shook his head.

"You're lucky you're not here anymore, even if you don't know it, you probably would have suffered a lot," Ukake said feeling real pity for the former owner of the body.
