24 A good day

(A / N: Still wondering who said they would turn this into an NTR story, I HATE the genre with all my might. All I did was include a character from this genre because sadly this was one of the ways that The world taught me that I should improve and try to take care of my relationships with others. I don't really know why they think I would do NTR in this story, it was only two damn chapters, and twenty of them trying to make a clearly HAREM story, just read carefully. Maybe it was the last thought Ukake had and of course, I suppose I should remind you of the title of the FF, and the only reason I'm making or trying to get Ukake to interact more with the PRETENDENTS, in plural, it's because they'll stop seeing them soon ... Oops, spoiler.)

It was the first of February.

Ukake was having an existential crisis.

He was stagnant, he could not advance in anything, all he did was pass classes, earn money, and not much else. It had been a long time since he had known someone who would be of use to him in something important.

"Ukake, time to go to school." Yelled Ai.

"I'm going ..." Ukake went down the stairs patiently.

"Why do you look like this?" Ai asked.

This question made Ukake go to look in a nearby mirror, but there was nothing wrong with his appearance.

"What are you talking about?" Ukake asked a little puzzled.

"You look mentally tired."

"It must be your imagination." Ukake walked to the door to leave, but his aunt asked him something that made him think for a few seconds.

"Ukake, what is your dream, what do you want to achieve in your life?"

Ukake wasn't sure how to answer his question, but he already had some confidence in his family.

"Having so much money that I can never spend it all," Ukake replied.

Ai's face did not seem to change expression, indeed, she was probably expecting this answer.

"You are a very intelligent young man, I do not doubt that you can make your dreams come true, but I advise you to spend more time here, and not so much in an uncertain future, or at least do it for a few months, you really need to rest, try to enjoy the second chance that they have given you. " Ai said with concern.

Ukake was a bit surprised that she used the term "second chance" but she was not wrong to use it, many would kill to be in a world full of anime characters, and more if their wonderful Waifus are at their fingertips.

"Fine, I'll relax a bit," Ukake said between sighs.

...

Now Ukake was sitting at his desk, trying to clear his mind, but there was only one problem ... He couldn't do it, to enjoy the life you make friends, travel, look for entertainment media like television, movies, etc. But every time Ukake tried to entertain himself with something, his mind began to plot again. I couldn't stop the thoughts.

It was constant stress, each person I saw was completely analyzed by their mind in search of something in which they could be useful, I wanted to stop doing that for an hour at least, but it was almost impossible.

Trying to relax, Ukake didn't talk to anyone all day, what's more, he had lunch alone in his seat.

RING

The doorbell rang and it was time to go home. Ukake went down the stairs to go to the school lobby, where he found two things.

The first was that it was raining, and the second was that Kokomi was going to ask for an umbrella.

Naturally, Ukake would have given his umbrella to Kokomi, but he didn't know it was going to rain.

There he saw Chitoge, who seemed to be waiting for something or someone.

"Hey, are they coming for you today?" Ukake asked Chitoge.

"Yes, I think so..."

"Could you take me? I didn't bring my umbrella." Ukake said.

"Sure."

"Could you also invite Kokomi?" Ukake asked.

"Sure, it doesn't matter."

Ukake walked over to where Kokomi was.

"Hey, you didn't bring an umbrella, did you?" Ukake asked.

"No ..." Kokomi thought that she would share an umbrella with Ukake like in the Shoujo manga that she had rarely read, but her hopes went down the drain.

"Kirisaki-san owes me a favor, he said he could help and said you can come with us," Ukake said gently.

"Oh, okay." It was the only thing he said.

Three hours later.

"Kirisaki-san, you said someone would come for you right?" Ukake asked with a stupid face.

"I-I said I thought so." Chitoge looked a bit embarrassed.

"My train must have passed hours ago," Kokomi said with an expression similar to Ukake's.

The rain had not stopped, it was even worse than before so the option of walking home is ruled out.

"Ukake, your uncles have a car, right?" Kokomi asked

"I don't have my phone, they are very liberal, they probably thought I went to a sleepover ..." Ukake said, it was a fortune to have guys like them, but it was also a curse.

"Shit." All three said at the same time.

"Well, at least we still have light," Kokomi said.

A flash blinded the boys. Lightning had struck the school and cut off the electricity.

"Excellent," Ukake said without changing his expression.

Ukake turned around and started walking down the hallways of the school.

"Where are you going?" Kokomi asked.

"I think the school has an electricity generator, so ..." Ukake made his intentions clear.

"I accompany you!" Chitoge yelled out of fear of the dark.

"And I also!" Kokomi said feeling a bit jealous and scared.

Ukake and the two girls walked through the entire school and came to what was supposed to be the place where an emergency electricity generator was located.

But there was an old, wasted generator.

"Shit ..." All three said at the same time.

Ukake started walking again.

"Now where are you going?" Kokomi asked.

"Well, I'll find a place where it's not so cold, the last thing I want is to become an ice cream," Ukake said as he walked to one of the institution's classrooms.

Ukake quickly sealed all windows to keep out cold from the rain.

"So ... Now what?" Kokomi asked.

"Nothing, let's just wait for the rain to stop, in the worst case, we'll just be here until tomorrow," Ukake said being realistic.

"I-It's a bit cold ..." Kokomi said blowing steam from her mouth.

"You're right ..." Chitoge said doing the same.

"Well, you can perfectly hug each other to keep what little body heat you have left," Ukake said.

Notice what they said, excluding himself for obvious reasons.

"You don't seem to be cold ..." Kokomi said.

"I'm cold, but it's really no use saying it, it's like saying you're hungry alone," Ukake said.

"I guess you're right, as always," Kokomi said.

"You say it like it's something wrong." Right after saying that, lightning echoed through the entire school, and naturally Chitoge jumped up and clung to Ukake's arm as she screamed a bit like crazy.

"Haha."

"W-what are you laughing at !?"

"You're welcome, don't cry so much, you think that if lightning hits you, you will probably end up dying, or in the best of cases, you will end up in the hospital."

"There is something good about that !?"

"Yes, you are probably roasted and you will not hear the sound that the lightning makes."

"I guess it makes sense ..." Chitoge analyzed, although that wouldn't take away her fear of lightning, it would just intensify.

Time passed and it didn't seem like the rain was going to stop, at least not tonight.

"Well, I'm not going to wait until three in the morning to see if the rain comes down a bit, I'll go to sleep," Ukake said as he walked to a corner and huddled close to the wall.

"I don't like being seen sleeping, it's creepy," Ukake said looking straight into my eyes, she just looked away.

***

"2:00 AM?" Ukake asked looking at his watch.

Ukake's mobility was strongly affected, so he tried to pay attention to what was holding him back.

To his surprise, two young ladies were lying next to him.

Ukake could guess why Kokomi was there, but he still wondered what Chitoge did, from his point of view, she would rather walk in the rain and storm to her house before sleeping with a stranger.

"I suppose it will be the biological point of view ... Women look for the person who seems stronger to feel protected ..." Ukake whispered.

Ukake felt a slight movement from both of them, so looking closely, he realized that they were fluttering.

Of course, he didn't feel as cold as they did.

Ukake got up, left the classroom, and walked to the main gym, which was connected to the school, once there, he took a tarp and went back to the place where they slept.

Ukake placed the mat wrapping himself around the two girls and took off his shirt, it may seem somewhat inappropriate, but it was an effective way of letting the body heat out and for the mat to warm Chitoge and Kokomi.

Of course, Ukake was not crazy, he left in writing that he had not done anything and that if they wanted to arrest him, they would first take the testimony of the two girls to testify his innocence.

(N / A: This chapter may seem a bit sudden, but I had it written for a long time, I just finished some parts and that's it.)
