1 Heartless Woman

[From: Fiance <3

Babe, come to Prisma-Pavilion 7 at 6 pm. Later, if the security asks about your identity, just say you are Mrs. Brown. See ya, love you.]

Jeqline Johnson recently finished her job as head director of operations for her family company, John Group, before finally reading messages on her cell phone and seeing 'Mrs. Brown' printed on her cellphone screen made the girl's smile automatically appear on her face.

Friday night that day is her 25th birthday, and her five-year-old boyfriend, who will be her fiancé the next day, has prepared a special surprise for his lover.

With a smile on both ends of Jey's lips, a nickname from Jeqline, the woman turned off her computer monitor, grabbed her car keys and purse, and rushed to the elevator after confirming her office lights were off.

During the trip from John Group to the intended address, Jey's heart was beating irregularly. The expectations and imagination kept whirling in her mind, and the smile on her face never faded. For five years of dating, of course, Jey and her partner Mark Brown had a relationship that was quite close and intimate, but it didn't cross the line—just holding hands, hugging, and kissing on the lips. Both of them understood each other's principles without saying a word and appreciated them together.

Prisma-Pavilion is the dream house that Jey always talks about every time there's a chance to discuss property issues. Unlike most affluent people who always pursue luxurious houses and mansions, The Prisma-Pavillion attracts Jey because of its simplicity and the green environment.

The trip, which took thirty minutes, ended in the house's parking lot with a white fence after passing a security check from the housing complex. The house's exterior is very modest; the aluminum main door is colored dark blue, and so the long windows on the left and right of the door.

Jey paused for a moment beside her car windows, confirming her already neat clothes and makeup, which the face still adorned with her sweet smile. Taking a deep breath and calming the commotion in her heart and mind, Jey stepped towards the house's door, which was slightly open.

From the outside, it still looked dark, but the more Jey stepped into the room, not only did the room get brighter, but there was a sound that Jey did not find foreign. Sobs and conversation that sounded unusual did not pass Jey, who was only a few steps from the main bedroom door.

"Brother Mark ... I'm really s-sorry, I didn't want this to happen! Tha-that time, I was so shocked, I forgot to take the contraceptive pill and finally ... Brother Mark, sorry ..."

"Katie, I..."

"Don't worry, Brother Mark, I-I'm just letting you know. I-I won't interfere with your life and Sister Jey. I'm really sorry, Brother Mark. After your engagement tomorrow, I will go abroad, and I will raise our child with all my heart ..."

DEG!

Time seemed to stop tickling around Jey. Her heart stopped beating for one beat. The blood flowing in her body seemed just to disappear, making the girl standing in front of the door look white and pale. Her mind continued to play the events she had only heard and seen a few minutes ago without stopping.

Jey doesn't even remember how she was back in her white Range Rover Sport SE.

Jey started her car with shaking hands and called her best friend to meet her at their secret hangout.
