Shortly after that, Aaron heard Jey's voice. She was already standing in front of him.

"I'm sorry, did I make you wait long?" said Jey breathlessly because she was running as fast as possible.

The people around who purposely kept murmured in the lobby finally got their answers after seeing Jey. They began to guess the relationship between the two, but their guesses were not much different from each other.

Aaron looked at Jey, who was still trying to control her breathing with a flushed face. Jey, that morning looked different from before. In Aaron's eyes, Jey seemed to be surrounded by various kinds of pink flowers. Still, his eyes were only focused on Jey.

Even just with Jey around him, Aaron's entire body went into sleep mode. As if he was bewitched, Aaron was only able to see Jey in front of him.

Only after Jey called his name for the third time did Aaron wake up from his reverie.

"I'm sorry, what you say?" coughed Aaron to hide his embarrassment.

"It's okay. I asked, did I make you wait too long?"

"You said 5 minutes, but you took longer than it, although I don't mind that."

"Ahh, sorry .." Not knowing how to respond to Aaron's sentence, Jey replied curtly.

The two of them were momentarily silent before Jey finally asked about the purpose of Aaron's arrival.

"I brought the breakfast."

"For me?" asked Jey, confused.

"Mm." Aaron nodded with his flat face.

"Then ... Thank you, hehe," said Jey as he received the white thermal insulation bag.

"Mm."

Then what now? Why I have to rush here if he can easily give this bag to the receptionist, grumbled Jey inwardly.

"Let's go," said Aaron, who had risen to his feet and walked towards the elevator.

"Huh? Where?"

"Eat breakfast," replied Aaron, who was in front of the elevator.

Even though she was confused by Aaron's sentence, Jey continued to follow the man.

When the two of them were already in the elevator, Jey repeated his question.

"Where are we going?"

"Eat breakfast," repeated Aaron.

"And this?" Jey asked as she raised her hand and lifted the breakfast that Aaron brought.

Aaron and Jey were already in Jey's penthouse's parking lot, where Aaron parked his car. The man walked over to the front passenger seat and opened the door for Jey.

Jey was baffled by Aaron's gesture. Why is he doing this ?, asked Jey over and over again in her mind.

Jey looks at Aaron with a confused look as she tilted her head. Aaron just turned his head to the car door, which was already open, motioning Jey to enter the car.

Without speaking, Jey approached Aaron's car with mixed feelings.

After she was in the car, Aaron briefly looked at Jey, who seemed dazed. He smiled faintly, closed the car door, and walked towards the driver's seat.

The two of them fastened their seat belts, and Aaron drove up the car.
