12 CHAPTER 12

We were driving back home after we found out that, Eva cheated on Chase with my ex Jacob and if that isn't weird then I don't know what is. We were walking back to Chase's room when I saw someone I didn't want to see. Aiden was standing across us he walked closer to me.

" Lara what are you doing?",he says.

" Please just give me a chance I need to talk to you."

His eyes are dark under from lack of sleep and also his eye balls are bloodshot red. I didn't care though, thing is I don't care anymore all my feelings were no longer there I no longer felt anything.

"No Aiden I don't want to speak with you,to you or anything that involves you in face I don't want to ever see you again", I say.

I hold Chase's hand in mine and Aiden's eyes widen at my sudden action.

"So that's it",he says.

"That's how long it took you to get over me?..."

" Now you with this weird freak who wears black all the time and looks like a serial killer how can you even trust him?" Chase lets go of my hand and stands in front of Aiden.

"You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover and I would never hurt Lara, you know why because I love her!"

My eyes widen in shock and I'm pretty sure my heart's frozen but then I realize he's just helping me out although just for a second my heart wished it was true but then my brain stabbed it.

Aiden starts laughing really loud,"You can't fall in love with someone who you only know for what 3 days?"...

"You actually believe this fool Lara come on you smarter than that." "Actually I believe it is you who is the idiot,I mean you took what months to fall in love with such an angel yet you should have fell in love with her the first time you looked at her. She's different in the best way possible, those scars on her arms, those hidden tears in her eyes, that fake smile on her face, that twitch of hope in her eyes, her beauty, her innocent heart and her broken soul",Chase says. My heart felt so warm when I heard those words come out from his mouth I couldn't help but smile and tears of joy came out from my eyes even though he didn't mean it.

"Whatever you say creep.",Aiden says and walks away.

We head to the room and I grab Chase in a hug,"Thank you so much."

He hugs me back,"Woah easy Beauty I feel like you are about to crush Me!".

I quickly let go of him.

"I'm glad I'll see you at school, good night Mr DJ."

" Good night Beauty."

I was laying in bed and before I knew it I fell off into a deep sleep. It was morning in no time and was time to leave Green Lake Resort. Chase was giving me a ride home so I was sorted. We grabbed a few snacks for the road laughed and made some jokes and headed back home.

We were driving and I was in deep thought about Chase.

"Hello Lara!", Chase screams.

" Oh uhhm I'm sorry",I say.

I said,"I didn't forget you know."

"About what?",I asked feeling very confused.

"You were supposed to tell me all about you big angry past."

" Oh right",I say and I tell him about Jacob, my dad and mom too. Chase understood me in a way nobody ever could I could talk to him about anything and everything we became best friends I would say. He was like a male version of Me, no like literally!We were both broken souls loving in a world that never existed, it felt good to have someone like me around and in that exact moment of our continuous laugh I realized that Chase and I share a really deep bond an unexplainable one. I won't say he took the pain away but I'd say it was easy to bear when he was around.

Then our journey came to an end, we reached my house and Chase helped me grab my luggage.

" I'll see you soon." he says," Lara wait."

" Yes?"

"How do you go to school in the mornings?"

" Well I drive and sometimes my brother Shawn drops me."

"Hmm I'll pick you up Monday, I'll message you times okay. "

"Okay cool yes that would be fun bestie."

I open the door and why do I feel like this has happened before? All my siblings are staring at me with huge eyes.

I just finish unpacking my stuff and lay down on my bed. Apparently Clowy told Shawn about what happened and he told Rachel and Poppy.

" Do you want to talk about it Smally?" Rachel asks,Shawn and Poppy tag along.

"We here for you",they say.

" Awww thanks guys but I literally don't care about Aiden if there's anything I feel towards him then it's hatred but thank you all so much", I say and we have a cute family hug.

"I told you guys the guy was a dick may I go kick his ass now.",Shawn says.

"No", I say and grab Shawns hand and we all laugh.

Mom comes home early that day and we all have supper together for once in forever. Rachel made a delicious Italian pasta.

" So about that Aiden guy",mom says. "Uhhhm it didn't work out", I say and shove pasta in my mouth.

"She does have some other cute guy though", Poppy says.

"Why is Shawn not having dinner with us?",Mum asks.

"Oh mum I'm going out on a date", Shawn says.

" Wow theres alot of catching up we need to do."

Just then Shawn leaves the house.

Mom and the rest of us chat and i tell her what happened with Aiden and I she said I should do whatever made me happy.

I was sitting on the couch and watching the vampire diaries ofcourse when Shawn walks in with Clowy and she looks beautiful as always.

"Hi Lara.", she says.

"Hey" I respond.

" Okay I'm gonna let you girls catch up give me a second.",Shawn said.

" Still think he did nothing wrong", I ask her?

"No Lara what Aiden did wasn't right at all and I just wanted to say I'm sorry for everything."

"Don't worry about it Clowy it wasn't your fault."

She sits down next to me and hugs me.

"Oh and you don't need the ass hole I saw you got that covered."

" What do you mean? "

"Oh come on the cute guy with the black sports car looks quite dashing Lara."

" Come on Clow we just good best friends."

" Whatever you say Lara."

I got a message from Chase that night saying he would pick me up at 7 sharp. So that night passed by pretty fast.

I slip on my black leather skirt wid my cream fluffy top a tights and cute ankle boots. I stuff a nutella sandwich in my mouth and hear Chase's hooter so I head out.

" Hey",I say to my so called new best friend.

"Hi there Beauty."

"Ready for your first day at South Shore High?"

" As ready as I'll ever be.",Chase says

"Oh and I have a sister that will be there too.",he adds

" Really?"

" Yeah. "

"Well I'd love to meet my best friend's sister. "
