She had to go because her psychiatrist said is better for her to be in a normal school than home schooling. Her Dad accompanied her to schedule to tell her homeroom teacher about her social anxiety disorders. The teacher instructed her to go to class 3 third year classroom and sit by a boy named Lao Mao. As soon as she entered the class, she passed out and Lao Mao carried her to school clinic. Two hours later Kate wakes up to find Lao Mao sitting beside her, she panicks again. But Lao Mao tells her not to worry because he is not a bad person.

He assured her that everything is okay, and she starts to get a little bit comfortable with Lao Mao because he looks like her childhood friend . She then asks him his name and he is. Lao Mao did what she said and told her that their homeroom teacher Mr Li told him to take care of Kate personally.
