7 The Lunch

Once the screams were explained I passed my phone around so Jungkook, J-Hope, and Jin could say "hi". However, the phone had to pass Taehyung, who grabbed it and started cooing at my seven year old. The look on his face was priceless and I loved the sounds coming from my sister too. It ended shortly after when Jin yelled in Korean, and Taehyung handed him the phone.

While they were continuing playing with my phone a server came to the table. He stood next to me, which made me a little uncomfortable, not that I allowed myself to show it, because I can't speak Korean. I'm lucky to know a few phrases, well more like words.

I pushed the menu forward after looking at it and not understanding a thing. "You guys order for me." I gave them a great big smile. They smiled too and nodded. They took to the challenge, and started talking amongst themselves. They talked for a few minutes before they each spoke to the server, who wrote the orders down. He bowed slightly before walking away.

Should I be worried? You're not giving me eyeballs are you?" I teased.

They laughed and Jungkook replied softly, "No, it should hopefully you like."

I smiled softly at him and nodded. His female shyness was getting much better; he picked me up of his own accord a few times already, but I guess he could still get shy.

Jimin, who was on my right, waved at my phone before hanging it back to me. I had completely forgotten that my sister was on facetime. I looked at my phone and smiled at her, feeling a little guilty, when she yawned. "Okay, Babygirl, I kept you awake long enough. It is well beyond your bedtime, if it's lunch time here. All Jessica so I can see her put you to bed." She put the phone down to go to her bedroom door to call for her babysitter. Jessica came into the room and we waxed at each other. I watched as she put my sister in her bed. Jessica took the phone, said farewell, and we ended the call.

With that done my attention fully returned to the boys, who were just sitting there watching me. I pushed hair behind my ear on one side and allowed more to fall on the other because of my embarrassment. I was startled when I felt fingers pushing the fallen hair from my face, back behind my ear. I looked up and saw J-Hope smile at me and say something in Korean, which RM translated as "You really love your sister don't you?"

I nodded my head. "We're all we have of each other. Our parents died 5 years ago." I gave a wry smile. "Car crash, the other driver wasn't paying attention to their speed and wrecked my parent's car. So I spoil her as much as I can, but I'm always seeming to be working."

Just as I finished, the food arrived and what was placed in front of me looked delicious. I took a bite, thanking God that I know how to use chopsticks. It tasted delicious too.

We talked while we ate. They asked more specific details about my life; like where I live specifically. Do we live in a house or apartment? What did I do for work? What did I do in my freetime? I answered all of them.

We had taken a break of them interrogating me, so I took a few more mouthfuls and inwardly squealed in delight at the taste. I was in my own world until my name was called.

"Y/N-ssi, do you like it?" Jungkook asked.

I smiled catching on rapidly. Jungkook must have been the one to pick it out. "It's delicious Jungkook, thank you for picking it for me." He blushed and just nodded.

RM looked over, "how did you know?"

"I told you guys before that I don't understand Korean, but situations. Jungkook replied when I asked about the food earlier and he asked about it just now. The expression on his face also had a hopeful look." I smiled. They nodded when RM translated and Jungkook blushed again.

We settled down and ate a little more before Jimin turned to me and gave his eye crescent smile. "You said Yoongi-hyung was sister's favorite, who is yours?" I squealed internally again at him speaking English a little hesitantly.
