1 Intro to My Crush

"It was such a long day today", I replied to my roommate Janet's question. Janet is a tall woman with a slim and athletic figure. She works for a prominent bank in the city. Her work involves her to communicate with multiple people and it suits her perfectly as she is the most extrovert person I have ever seen in my life. And then there's me.... a total opposite of my roommate. I am a baby-faced girl with small eyes and a petite body. I work at an investment company called IconiQ. The company is very popular and one of the best in its field but my position is that of a small associate in that big company.

Unlike Janet, I lack in the department of self-confidence. To begin with, I was always a shy, timid girl and it continues till this date. This is one of the reasons I don't have many friends but whoever I am close with they know the real me. "Aria! Stop eating those chips and let's go out for dinner", Janet shouted while eyeing me as if she would eat me if we didn't leave sooner.

The next morning I was running on the streets to reach the office as I was getting late. And at the entrance, I saw a figure standing and l stopped to admire that beauty. Ezra Anderson, the Account Director of the company was standing there talking on his phone. He is a good looking, tall, sharp-featured, well built with broad shoulders, intelligent and a very humble person. Almost all the ladies of the office are after him. He is the perfect bachelor. And for me, he is my crush of two years. I still remember the day, it was our company's foundation anniversary and to celebrate it the company had organized a special magic show by a celebrated magician.
