2 Chapter 2: Growing up (pt.1)

After a few days in the I figured out a few things. I personally didn't watch Naruto that much but I had a friend online who was addicted to the stuff. He made me an expert without watching it. Just by listening to him explain about Naruto was enough for me so I had no reason why I had to watch it asides from a few seasons I had watched.

By listening to the conversations of the nurses I could tell that the first Great Ninja war had ended five years back. So this was around the time that the legendary sannins where still eleven. Minato Namikaze was not yet born and would be conceived the following year. The other villages namely Kirigakure, Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Sunagakure. Water, Cloud, Stone and Sand respectively would be dissatisfied with the results of the first war. The nurses were gossiping that they were still gathering more forces to replenish the ones they lost in the first war and preparing to star a new one.

When I finally looked at my mother, the first time when she was holding me I was surprised by her appearance. She had light bluish eyes and long dark brown hair and had a weird sky blue symbol on her forehead. She was also extremely beautiful. I instantly knew which clan I belonged to. It was the Hyūga clan. The clan that possessed the famed kekkei genkai called the byakugan and was also one of the few noble clans of Konohagakure. The symbol on her forehead is one given to the branch family of the Hyūga clan, it was a curse. I was named Himeko Hyūga.

In the following week we returned to the clan. We lived on the branch side of the clan and it wasn't as beautiful as the Main family side. My father was just another chunin in the clan and wasn't anything special. My mother was just a genin. Though our family wasn't special we were quite happy. Growing up for the first two years was nice. As a child of the branch family, I just had to have fun and learn the history and culture of the clan. We were taught to respect the main family to the point were children feared them. I was acting just like the other two and three year olds in the clan and not drawing any attention to myself.

And this is how I spent my first three years in this world.
