61 Rating Game (IX)

Make a note to self: Never provoke the murder loli. She is a loli, but she is still a murder loli. Not only that, her pet is even more murderous than her. Speaking of her pet, now I know the reason why Illya wanted a little bit of my blood a few months ago. This is her secret project—a replica of Berserker.

"Shirou, I leave Illya to you. Please hold her murderous intent."

"Of course. However, I don't think I can change her personality."

"And I did not expect you to. I only need you to hold her, so she doesn't kill many people."

"Of course. While Illya is… behavior like that, she is a good girl."

Right. Shirou still thinks Illya is his little sister even after explaining that she is a nineteen-year-old young lady. Even if he is different than the Shirou Emiya in the canon timeline, he is still dense and a little bit stupid.

It also did not help that Illya had a blast exploiting her youth to fool the others. I still remember how she imprisoned a middle-aged man by pretending he molested her.

Illya is a sweet girl, but her type of mischief is too much for my taste.

"Just… Just make sure she did not get into any trouble."

"Of course."

I nodded my head and looked at the screen once again. Both Illya and her opponent appear in the middle of a small island in the middle of an ocean.

Once again, Illya appears in the arena with her opponent Rachel Lindon. Illya looks around and sees that she is on a tiny island surrounded by the ocean. There is one medium-sized mountain in the middle of the island.

"... Start!"

After the MC said that, Illya immediately created a barrier around her to block the incoming attack from Rachel. She already knows that her enemy will try to attack her immediately to prevent her from summoning Berserker.

Sadly for Rachel, her first, second, and third punch are not enough to break the barrier around Illya, and Illya is already summoning her not so little pet.

"Berserker!"

"▂▂▃▃▄▄▅▅!"

With a mighty roar, Berserker jumps toward the poor woman. However, to Illya's surprise, Rachel successfully blocks Berserker's attack. Rachel's arms glowing with a blue light when her arms block the incoming attack. Her arms are covered by glitter.

This is Rachel's sacred gear. It was called Stardust Shield. This is a barrier/support type of sacred gear. This sacred gear has a form of glitter that the user can control. Anything and anyone gets covered by the glitter; their defense capabilities will be boosted by twenty times.

Right now, Rachel covers her arms with her glitter to block Berserker's attack, and even then, she can still feel her arms bone shaken by the impact.

After blocking Berserker's attack, Rachel begins to retreat. She and her fellow peerage members make a strategy on how to beat the Berserker. Everyone has a weakness. She only needs to find Berserker's weakness.

However, before she could search for any weakness, Berserker appeared next to her and swung down his sword at Rachel. Rachel, who saw Berserker coming at her, raises her hands to block another attack. However, before his sword hit Rachel, Berserker suddenly switched his sword direction instantly.

Instead of swinging his sword to hit Rachel from the front, Berserker stomps his feet on the ground and then changes the direction of his swing before hitting Rachel behind her head.

*BOOM*

A massive crater appears on the ground when Berserker smashes Rachel to the ground. While she is on the ground, the mad warrior jumps high and is ready to stomp Rachel to death.

Rachel barely dodges the stomp, but she gets thrown away by the massive shockwave Berserker made. She coughs a little while kneeling on the ground and looks up. When she looks away from the ground, she is greeted by a nightmarish sight.

"▄▄▅▅!"

Rachel saw Berserker's face right in front of her before she got thrown away once again after her head got hit by the blunt side of Berserker's ax. On the side, Illya, cheering at her berserker, destroys her opponent. She sees this fight as a play, not really a fight.

She likes seeing her berserker tossing her opponent like a ragdoll.

Rachel is already at her limit. Blocking, dodging, and getting thrown around already drain her energy. Among Karnelly peerage members, Rachel is the one who has the highest defensive capabilities, but even then, she still has her limit.

Her body was filled with wounds and either from Berserker ax, punches, or kicks. Not only that, her energy was almost depleted. Using her sacred gear to the limit drains her reserve really fast.

So when Berserker appears next to her once again, she gets teleported away from the arena. The judge thought she did not have enough strength to fight.

With that, the fight is over.

Sitting on the other side of the world is a group of Gods watching the fight with interest. They are the Greek gods. Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Athena and Aphrodite.

"Aphrodite."

"Hmmm? What?"

"Why do you keep looking at one of Riser's peerages?"

Hera looked at her fellow goddess, who was looking at the screen in a melancholic expression. This is the first time she sees Aphrodite give that expression. Usually, Aphrodite will search for a handsome man that she can seduce, but she looks at the woman covering her face in Riser's peerage the entire viewing.

This behavior also makes her confused when she sees Aphrodite did not make a lustful expression but rather a regretful expression.

"I-I don't know. That woman reminds me of someone that I messed up in the past. I don't know who."

Hera nodded her head and looked at the woman that covered her head with a hood. If what Aphrodite said is true, then this woman is one of the victims of Aphrodite in the past. At least she is their descendant.

Gods and Goddesses are flawed creatures. They can make mistakes and act immaturely, and the Greek Pantheon is filled with immature gods and goddesses. Some of the Greek Pantheon already move on and change for the better, but the others are still pretty much the same.

And one of those goddesses that change for the better is Aphrodite. While Aphrodite still likes to seduce any handsome men or beautiful women she sees, she does not curse them if they reject her. Aphrodite was still grumbling at the rejection, but at least she did not curse them.

However, what Hera did not know is who the identity of this woman is. Everyone who got cursed by Aphrodite did not live long. Either by the bad luck inflicted by Aphrodite or by killing themselves as they cannot get carried on in life.

Hera nods her head and decides she will investigate this matter. She is a goddess of family, after all. While she is a spiteful goddess in the past, she already turns for the better and will not curse any children his husband produces and even take care of them as if they are a child of her own.

While Aphrodite is not her child, she is her daughter-in-law. Hera cannot see her daughter-in-law with that sad expression. The least thing she can do to make Aphrodite happy is to let both Aphrodite and the mysterious woman meet and let her daughter-in-law apologize.
