28 Friendly Spar

Both Hermione and I stood in the middle of the training room, looking at the smiling Satan in front of us. Both Hermione and I wear a protective necklace that generates an invisible shield that becomes the second skin that protects us from a physical and magical attack. The wizard creates this necklace in my pocket dimension.

While I did not have any armor yet, Hermione wore the armor that the other wizards made for her. It has the same effect as the necklace. Hermione also held her staff that my mother gave.

"Are both sides ready?"

I nod at my father, and I can see Sirzechs nodding his head as well.

"Good. The fight will begin in 3… 2… 1… Fight!"

I teleport into the observation room, where I can see the 'fight' between my son and his peerage member against the strongest devil.

When I arrived in the observation room, I could see that both sides did not move an inch. After a few seconds of staring at each other, Riser is the one that starts the battle.

Riser started the battle by charging toward Sirzechs with a blazing fist. When he appeared in front of Sirzechs, he punched the strongest devil. When his fist hit Sirzechs, it created a massive torrent of fire.

While I'm not near the training ground, I can see how intense that fire is because the ground underneath Sirzechs begins to melt.

While I'm proud of my son's progress, I know that his attack cannot hurt Sirzechs.

And true to my word, A second after the torrent of fire disappeared, Sirzechs punched Riser hard enough that I for some reason heard a glass breaking and saw my son get thrown away to the wall.

When Riser gets thrown away, a massive pillar of ice appears from the ground and imprisons Sirzechs. However, that wasn't enough as the ice disappeared when it tried to imprison Sirzechs.

Sirzechs look at Hermione and appear in front of her in a blink of an eye. Sirzecsh raises his hand and is ready to punch her, but before he could do that, Riser appears next to Sirzechs and fires a flamethrower that throws Sirzechs away.

Seeing Sirzechs fly away from him, Riser does some hand movement, and suddenly a pillar of magma appears from the ground and tries to burn Sirzechs alive.

"Riser can control lava? I don't know that your son can control lava, Hadrius."

"I'm as surprised as you are, Zeoticus."

Usually, the Phenex clan can only control Fire and Wind elements to create the more powerful fire. Wait… If he controls lava, then….

I look at my wife, and I can see a proud expression on her face. It looks like Riser inherits the bloodline from the Vassago family and inherits their control over the Earth element. Combining both Fire and Earth, he can now control lava.

I snap from my thoughts when I hear an explosion. I look at the arena and see that Hermione and Riser combine their power to attack Sirzcehs. When the dust vanished, I could see Sirzcehs standing in the middle of a massive crater without a single injury. Even his clothes did not get damaged.

Seeing Sirzech did not get damaged, Riser says.

"I see. This is gonna be hard."

"Oh?"

"You have a layer of barrier above your clothes. That barrier is made of the Power of Destruction. All of our attacks get destroyed by that second skin."

"Bravo. It has been a while since a young generation of devils knew about my trick. So! After knowing about it, what will you do?"

"Try to destroy it, of course. Hermione, cover me."

After saying that, I can feel a massive amount of demonic energy gather around Riser's hand. Seeing what my son was doing, Sirzechs decided to stop it. Sirzechs appears in front of Riser and ready to punch him once again.

However, before Sirzcehs could punch him, Riser disappeared from his current position and appeared on the other side of the training ground.

Before Sirzechs could appear in front of Riser once again, Hermione cast an unknown spell, and suddenly a second Riser appeared. Then the two multiplied and continued to do so until it filled up the training room.

"Interesting. That is the most impressive solid illusion spell I have ever seen."

I look at Zeoticus and say.

"Solid Illusion?"

"Feel your son's demonic power."

I look at the training ground and begin to spread my demonic energy for a few seconds before widening my eyes.

"All of them have the same energy signature as my son!"

"That is why it was so impressive. All of them have the same amount of demonic energy as your son. Not only that, it has the same signature. That is a really impressive illusion."

I look at the training ground and nod my head. While the illusion is impressive, I know it cannot make them win against Sirzechs.

I can see Sirzechs using his power of destruction for the first time in this fight. I can see him punch the ground, and suddenly a wave of power of destruction hits all the illusions and destroys them with ease.

I can even see Hermione get hit by that wave of destruction.

I can see all Riser in the training ground get destroyed and only leaving Hermione and Sirzechs in the training ground. I raise my eyebrow and look around the training ground, but I cannot see where Riser is.

I even spread my demonic energy to sense his demonic energy signature, but to my surprise, I cannot sense him. How? Riser gathers a massive amount of demonic energy in a single point. It should be easy to sense him.

I look at Hermione lying on the ground and see her smiling.

A few seconds later, I can sense a massive amount of demonic energy on the ceiling of the training room. I look up and see Riser floating in the air with his hand glowing with power.

Before Sirzechs could do anything, Riser appeared in front of him and used his right hand that was glowing to punch Sirzechs right in the stomach.

*BOOM*

A huge explosion is happening when Riser's fist hits Sizerch's second skin. I can see the demonic energy around Riser's hand is like a drill that tries to drill up Sirzcehs' second skin. Sirzechs his hand in front of Riser, and suddenly, I can see deep red energy appear in front of Sirzechs' hand.

It looks like Sirzechs want to fight Riser's final attack. Seeing he is not moving, Riser releases a massive torrent of fire from his back to help him punch through Sirzechs second skin. I can see a shockwave from the battle of dominance between Sirzechs and Riser.

The shockwave is so strong that it throws away Hermione, who is tired of creating a massive amount of Riser's clones.

The battle of dominance lasts for a minute before the energy around Riser's hand begins to vanish, and I can see Riser fall to the ground unconscious. I teleported to the training ground and shouted.

"Winner! Sirzech Lucifer."

"Ah! Sorry to interrupt you, Lord Phenex, but I think the winner is little Riser."

"Oh?"

I look at Sirzechs in confusion but widen my eyes a second later when I see a crack in the barrier around Sirzechs before suddenly it is destroyed to pieces.

"He kept his word. He successfully destroys my second skin even after I enchant it with my demonic energy. I think he deserves this win."

"I see. Then! Winner Riser Phenex!"

After I say that, my wife appears next to Riser and looks at him for a few seconds before releasing a relief breath as she knows that Riser is not injured too much and only unconscious because he exhausted his energy reserve.

I look at my son, who was taken away by the servant, and feel that I cannot be more proud of my children. It looks like the Phenex Clan has a bright future.
