3 Chapter 3

Back at the camp, Raven healed the demons and beastmen, that begged for help, while Touka and her mother made food from an animal that Raven killed, called BullDeer. Their skin was extremely tough, but their meat was a good survival food since it's a large animal. Suddenly, multiple of demon and beastmen appeared out of thin air.

"What's going on? Where did all these demons come from?" Touka asked.

"I think Reiji sent them here," Raven said as she walked over to one of the demons severely injured.

The demon, she was helping, opened his eyes and recognized Raven as the captain Nightwing. He immediately backed away while screamed for his life.

"Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to help," she said as she got closer to him.

He slowly calms down as Raven lowered to knees. She raised one of her hands and said "Ultra Heal". A light bright as the morning sun shined from her hand and healed the demon's injuries.

"I didn't know demons could use such a spell without damaging themselves," Reiji said as he appeared from the shadows.

"Suddenly, the villagers, who asked for Reiji's help, bowed to him.

"Lord, you have saved our people from the village. For that, We pledge our undying loyalty to you." One of the villagers said.

Then, one after another the rest of the villagers did the same. Unknowing what to do, Reiji did the first thing that came to mind, Ask Sage.

"Repeat after me." Sage said.

"I, Reiji L. Amagiri, hereby accept you as branch familiars of the Lucrada Clan."

Raven went cold as she looked as Reiji, with a surprised and excited expression. Without hesitation, she ran at him while concealing her presence and power and jumped on him, knocking him down. Touka and Leaxia heard the loud thump and hurried thinking something bad happened again, but as soon as they turned around, they saw Raven straggling Reiji.

"Get off him this instant, you Slut!" Touka commanded.

"Can you leave us alone you're ruining our reunion," Raven said.

"What reunion? You only have met him a short while ago. Plus, You two just met a few hours ago." Leaxia said.

"Actually, Reiji and I met when he was a baby," Raven said as she hugged Reiji.

"What!" Touka said excitedly.

"So, it was you," Leaxia said under her voice.

Touka looked back and saw her mother with a cold, dead look on her face.

"You're the one who abandoned Reiji at my door that winter night. You're his mother." Leaxia said as she attacked Raven with the blade Raven made from a stone.

"No, he's my cousin. Also, Abandoned? You're are so wrong about that. He was given to you so he could have a normal life. The same goes for his brothers and sisters. Reiji's mothers and father loved all their kids and would never abandon them. They gave their kids up in order for their kids to have normal lives."

"What does she mean by that?" Leaxia asked Reiji.

Left with no choice, Reiji gave them the complete truth about everything. Unknowing what they'll say, Reiji prepared for the worst.

"Okay, I'll support you no matter what you choose," Leaxia said.

"Come on, Mom! This is Reiji we're talking about. There's nothing special about him. This isn't something anime or manga." Touka said upsettingly.

At first, Leaxia agreed with Touka. She couldn't believe Reiji was anything, but the kid with average tattooed on his forehead. However, during the explanation Reiji was giving, she saw how Reiji wasn't using his true potential back on earth, which sparked her curiosity to find out more about her son. Suddenly, Touka grabbed Reiji and cried.

"Enough! Reiji, you're not some god. You're my useless brother who can barely take care of himself. How could you take of a country?"

"Touka, I'm sorry to tell you this, but Reiji isn't as weak and useless you think he is. If he's anything like his father and mother, he is the only person in this world who can help the demons of this world from going extinct."

"How would you know? You never have seen Reiji in our world. He was an average person who didn't stand out at all. He barely had a social life, a complete introvert. Do you really expect me to believe he's some kind of god." Touka said.

"Actually, Demi-Jan-gu. Well, demigod or Jan-gu."

"And, he's supposed to be some kind of savior of these demons and beastmen."

"Well, beastmen in this world are considered demons by humans."

"Whatever they're called, horrid creatures that deserve to die." She said.

Angered by Touka's unintentional statement, Raven attempts to slap her, but her hand was caught by Reiji at the moment.

"Raven, just this once, forgive her." He pleaded.

Raven sighed.

"Okay, let him show you his true potential," Raven said as she slowly calmed down.

"Alright, but if he fails to impress me, you have to show us to the nearest village and never talk to us again," Touka said as she held out her hand for a handshake.

"Sure, I'll take that condition," Raven said as she shook Touka's hand. Suddenly, Reiji and Leaxia saw two powerful auras radiating off of them. One of a demon and another one of a divine tiger.

"Don't just stand there! Go!" Raven said.

Reiji sighed."Sage,"

Instantly, his power increased to the highest standards. Then, he transformed, but unlike his first time, his hair turned red with a single silver stripe in it. Everyone was shocked and surprised by Reiji's look. They were completely speechless. The demons and beastmen continued to lower their head because Reiji gave off a godly aura. Suddenly, the world around Reiji slowed down. In Reiji's perspective at least. Reiji looked at his surroundings and saw everything. From minerals in the ground to the stars in the sky. Reiji felt like he was connected with the world itself. Suddenly, he ran to the demon village to start his plans. However, while he was running, he truly noticed how much his power grew since that last fight. Suddenly, Reiji floated off the ground. Reiji screamed. He never experienced flight, however, that didn't stop him from adapting to it as quickly as he did. It seems like he was a natural at controlling his powers. A couple of seconds later, Reiji found himself standing over the tattered village. He snapped his fingers and building grew from the ground and concrete covered the spaces, creating roads. Then, Reiji landed in the middle of the city.

"Wow, that took a lot out of me." Reiji thought to himself.

Suddenly, he fell back onto a motorcycle, which appeared out of nowhere.

"Cool. Just what I needed." Reiji said as he placed a hand on the bike.

He got on the bike and revved its engine. It spun out, kicking up a lot of dirt and dust. Then, Reiji took off towards the others, at the campsite. Meanwhile, Touka and the others are looking for Reiji, who suddenly disappeared right before their eyes.

"What happened to Reiji? He was here a second ago." Touka said excitedly.

Suddenly, the demons started to glow one by one.

"What's happening to us?" Reina asked scaredly.

"You're evolving. I think." Raven said with a shocked expression.

"Evolving? What's that?" Leaxia said.

"Everything in this world is based on a level system. The higher the level is the stronger it is. And, for monsters, demons, and certain demi-humans transforms into the stronger versions of themselves. Hence, Evolving."

"Who cares? Where's Reiji?" Touka said.

"So, it's like an MMORPG," Raven said as she ignored Touka.

"I didn't know you knew about MMORPGs. With you being in this mid-century world." Leaxia said.

"Well, I'm originally from the universe called Origin. I here as a co-protector of the demons."

Leaxia sighed.

"First, it was us being brought here from our world. Then, demons. Now, multiple universes. What's next? Angels and Gods?"

"Technically, you already know a divine being."

"Really, who?" Leaxia asked.

Raven smiled. Leaxia sighed as if she knew what Raven's smile meant.

"Anything else you want to tell me?"

Raven shook her head. Suddenly, the demons stopped glowing. The majority of them lost their demonic features but gained demonic wings, along with a mark on their bodies like the one on Raven's shoulder.

"Congratulations! You officially became a part of the Lucrada Clan's Demon branch." Raven said happily.

"What do you mean?" The beastmen chief asked.

"While they evolving, they were tested to see what they evolve into. Some of them evolved into High-class Devils, like me, and others became Demon Generals. But, there one thing they all had in common. The will and desire to serve and protect Reiji. And, in the Jan-gu culture(Reiji's race), that makes you family."

Suddenly, Everybody heard a loud thunderous sound coming from the forest. Reiji, then, rode into the campsite, surprising everyone.

"Hey, everybody. I'm back." He said nonchalantly.

"Reiji! Where did you go?" Touka asked angrily.

"I'll explain, but for know grab onto me." He said as he got off the motorcycle.

Suddenly, everybody instinctively did what he said. Then, they instantly teleported outside of a barrier around the reconstructed demon city. Sadly, everybody, except for Reiji, couldn't withstand teleportation causing them to get the symptoms of HSMS(Hypersonic Motion Sickness). Luckily, Reiji remembered the treatment he used on Raven. After a few minutes of healing everybody, Reiji showed them the demon city. However, Touka wasn't impressed. All they saw was burnt ruins. Suddenly, Reiji walked forward and disappeared. Not surprised, Raven followed him without hesitation. Then, the demons and beastmen followed after her. However, fearful of the strangeness, Touka and Leaxia was hesitant. Suddenly, they felt a pull on their bodies, dragging them through the barrier. After opening their eyes, they saw a city that resembled their hometown. The only difference was how technologically advanced it was. There were moving stone sidewalks. Holographic screens that showed directions, signs, crosswalks and traffic light. Everybody was excited this was the era of a new technological bang in a new world. Then, Reiji summoned a box to his hands and opened it. Inside were holographic wristbands, he called IDs.

"Everyone take one of these bands and put it around your wrist. These wills act as a distress beacon in emergencies. It also allows you to contact one another." Reiji said.

"Wow. These are amazing. It's like a little cellphone." Touka said.

"Except, you can't make long-distance calls right now."

" Why not?"

"I still haven't built the satellites to do that," Reiji said.

"Riiight, Satellites," Touka said sarcastically.

"Yep, Satellites. Anyways, let's go and see where we're going to be living. They walked down to a holographic bus stop and waited. Almost instantly, a bus appeared out of thin air.

"What is this strange magic?" The demon elder said.

"I don't think this is magic. It's probably alchemy." The beastmen elder said.

"It's a little bit of both. It's called a bus. It's used as transportation." Reiji said as he got on.

Followed by everyone, Reiji, who was sitting in the driver's seat, said: "To the castle".

"Yes, my master." A voice said.

Suddenly, the bus began to move. As they passed the building and streets, they saw all the amazing things throughout the city. As they arrived at this big mansion-like house, they saw golems waiting in a line facing one another. Suddenly, the bus stops.

"We're here," Reiji said as he got up.

Everyone looks outside their window and notices that they're outside the big mansion-like house.

"Reiji, What is this?" Touka asked.

"Our home for this world." He replied bluntly.

"Isn't it a bit large for a family of... Never mind You're right." Leaxia said as she remembered that their family just got a lot bigger.

"So, Touka, did he impress you?" Raven said with a smug look on her face.

"Fine, I'm impressed. You won the bet," she replied disappointedly.

"So, what do we do about food?" Raven asked.

"There's a self-sustaining farm here. It can grow all kinds of food and a group of golems hunt in the forest. There would be no shortage of food. " Reiji explained.

Everybody looked at him with a dumbfounded look as if he was living in a fantasy. Suddenly, Raven smiled and hugged on Reiji.

"Just like your father." She whispered in his ear, causing Reiji to blush red. Touka pouted.

"Anyway, that should be enough to support you while I'm gone."

"What! Gone! What do you mean, milord?" the demon chief asked.

"I going to search for the rest of the demons and beastmen in the world," he explained.

"But, what if you get into trouble that you alone can't fi-

"Don't worry about that. He won't be alone. I'll be there with him."Raven said seductively as she wrapped her arms around Reiji tighter.

"No, I'm going with my brother," Touka said as she pulled Raven off Reiji.

Suddenly, sparks started flying between Touka and Raven. As an attempt to calm them down, Reiji bravely got between them and yelled: "You both can come!". Thankfully, they both agreed. Then, Reiji looked at Reina, who seemed upset about him leaving.

"How about you? Do you want to come, too?" Reiji asked Reina as he reached out his hand.

She looked at him and smiled. Suddenly, she jumped into his arms.

"Alright, any other objections?"

Everybody shook their heads and went their separate ways, except for Leaxia.

"Reiji, I'm coming too," she said confidently.

"No, you can't. You might be killed out there, and Yuusuke needs his mother," he replied with a serious tone.

"But, my other two kids...

"Will be okay. We can take care of ourselves. You don't need to worry. We'll be back every now and then." Reiji said trying to comfort his mother's feelings.

"But, how? Raven told me a little about this world. It has monsters and bandits everywhere." she said worriedly.

Reiji sighed.

"Follow me," he said.

Leaxia, along with Reina, Raven, and Touka, followed Reiji into a toolshed in the garden. Suddenly, the room lowered down to a dark room.

"How is this dark room supposed to protect you?" Leaxia asked.

"Lights!" Reiji yelled.

The lights shined, in response with Reiji's voice, revealing a warehouse-sized lab. It was filled with vehicles, weapons, mechs, and armors. At the center of the warehouse was a giant computer being built. This computer would be able to track, deploy, and repair the vehicles and armors lined up. Surprised by what Reiji did, Leaxia and the others stood there paralyzed and left speechless.

"Welcome to the armory. Here is where I keep all the tools of the city's defense,"

Suddenly, Touka saw guns on a wall and ran over to them. She had an extreme interest in guns. From handguns to rifles, she learned everything about them.

"Go ahead and stock up on my favorites. We leave in the morning." Reiji said as he tossed Touka a ring.

"Reiji, Is this your way of proposing?" Touka said happily as she catches the ring.

"No, that ring is an invention I call the Storage Ring. It allows you to store and summon whatever you like in an instant," he explained.

"Okay, against my better judgment, I'll allow her to use guns. What about you?" Leaxia said.

"Oh, I got this holo-band. Plus, my powers should be enough to handle anything."

"Take this seriously!" she yelled.

"I am. I created specialized armors to help and protect me. Which I can summon with my watch. "

"Oh, Pretty. Can I have one?" Raven said.

Reiji nodded and said, "I'll make you one."

"So, my son thinks he can be IronMan," Leaxia said discerningly.

"Please, IronMan wishes he was me!" Reiji thought to himself with an arrogant look on his face. Suddenly, Reiji felt a slight tug on his arm. He looked down and saw Reina with an enthusiastic expression on her face. He could tell she wanted one.

"You can have one too. Pick one, and I'll adjust it to your size. " Reiji said.

Reina looked at Reiji with an ecstatic look. Reiji nodded. Then, Reina ran over to Raven to look for one. Leaxia sighed.

"I was hoping I wouldn't become a grandma so soon." Leaxia thought.

"Speaking of grandma, where's grandpa?" Reiji asked.

"Oh, Shit! We left him back at the camp in the forest!" Leaxia replied with a panicked expression.

Reiji and Touka looked at their panicking mother with surprise expressions. This was their first time seeing their cool, collected mother panicking for the first time. Reiji, unable to look anymore, grabbed his mother, causing her to swoon. Then, he said

"Calm down, I'll go get him, and bring him back here."

"Okay," His mother said wondering what has come over her.

Then, Reiji walked over to a wall and it opened up to a large tunnel. Inside this tunnel was a train sitting on a railroad waiting to be used. However, it wasn't ready to be used. Luckily, there was something on the train Reiji thought would be helpful. This device would be able to keep him in a motionless-suit and stop him from experiencing HSMS on the way back. Even though it's a prototype, it should work to an extent. Then, in an instant, Reiji disappeared and reappeared, but once he reappeared, Reiji held a strange package. Reiji walked back in the main part of the armory. He placed the package down and pressed a button, releasing his grandfather from it. Luckily, his grandfather seems normal and none of the symptoms of HSMS showed.

"Thank goodness. He's safe." Leaxia said with relief while fainting. Thankfully, Raven caught her and Yuusuke.

"Mom!" Touka and Reiji yelled.

"No, I'm fine. I'm just a little tired." She said.

Reiji snapped his finger and they all disappeared into their rooms. Later that night, Raven appeared in Reiji's room. She noticed Reiji had a worry on his heart that he kept hidden well. She felt like she could give him some much need advice.

"What's wrong, Reiji?" Raven asked.

"Huh, Nothing is wrong." He replied nervously.

"You know I can read minds right. I know there is something wrong."

At that moment, Reiji got flustered, knowing of the things he thought about Raven.

"You're naughty." She said playfully.

Reiji sighed. "I was just wondering if I'll be able to live up to my parents' expectations."

"Well, Reiji, I can assure you that your moms and dad don't exected anything from you and siblings." She said bluntly.

"Wow, you suck at giving advice," Reiji replied.

"No, that's not what I meant. Your parents want you and your siblings to live your own lives. If you stayed in Eden, you were going to be treated differently. Political tools. When you were at the age, being princes and princess you were going to be target by different kings and queens who weren't apart of the Lucrada clan. They wanted the power of the Jan-gu and Primordials, And you ten were easy all-access pass for them."

"Oh," Reiji said as he wondered about the pain his mother and father had experienced by giving up their children. Noticing these thoughts, Raven got up and walked to his balcony.

"Come with me," Raven said as she opened her wings.

"Where?" He asked.

"On a flight," She replied as she held out her hand.

"Sorry, I can't fly on command. I have to get a running start." He said as he walked over to Raven.

She smiled. Paranoid of her smile, Reiji backed away slowly. Suddenly, Raven rushed over to Reiji, grabbed his hand, and took off into the sky. Reiji, unable to resist Raven, let go of his worries, and just went with his instincts. His body felt lighter and he started to fly alongside Raven. Eventually, he was pulling her as she did him. Without having a second thought, Reiji flew up into the upper atmosphere with Raven in tow. Fortunately for her, Raven was able to survive in the depths of space. Reiji stopped and looked at Raven, who looked abnormally attractive to him.

"What's wrong?" Raven said.

"Wha- What do you mean? I didn't notice anything." He said with a flustered expression. Which made him lose his concentration, and made him plummet to the ground.

"Huh, it looks like we have some things to work on," Raven said. Then, she followed Reiji down as an attempt to catch him.

Meanwhile, Reiji had an unexpected visit from Mia. She was wondering if he would be okay to talk with her. She wants to ask about his plans for tomorrow. Unknowingly, she walked in and saw Raven straddling Reiji. Embarrassed, they each turned red and yelled. Luckily, Reiji and Sage had the foresight to add soundproofing to every room in the mansion, even though they weren't supposed to be used like this. After a couple of minutes of silence, Reiji and Raven explained what happened.

"Oh! So, you two went out for a flight to let off stress. Then, Lord Reiji lost control, and fell from the upper atmosphere. Then, Lady Raven flew down, caught him, and teleported you both to his room." Mia said.

Reiji and Raven nodded. Then, Reiji noticed that Raven didn't experience HSMS like before. The reason for this was because Raven had better control over her magic. Reiji was using too much magic when he used teleportation. Raven knew how to use it with just enough magic power.

"Okay, I'll believe that story. Now, for the reason why I'm here." Mia said aggressively jealous.

Reiji and Raven looked at her with a dumbfounded look.

"Yeeaah...you wanted to know about tomorrow's plans," Reiji said nervously.

"That's right, we need to get ready for tomorrow's journey. Let's go to the Armory."Raven suggested.

Reiji agreed and walked over to the wall. Suddenly, elevator doors opened. Surprised, Raven and Mia rushed into the elevator. However, this elevator was different. It didn't move, but there was a teleportation magic circle. Fortunately, magic that uses magic circle doesn't use much magic power. So, no one wouldn't experience HSMS when using it.

The next morning, Reiji and the others gathered in front of the mansion. They all wearing new outfits Reiji made. Reiji wore a black skin-fit shirt, a purple sleeveless hoodie, with a tail that hung to the sides, over it with black jeans. Touka, Raven, and Reina wore a smaller version of Reiji's outfit but with different color schemes. They each were equipped with a storage ring and an armor band. This band would allow them to access custom-made armor by Reiji. This made it easier for Reiji to protect the people he cares about. Mia wanted to wear Reiji's gift to her, but it would've looked suspicious at the Adventurer's guild. However, she kept it inside her storage ring, waiting for the moment to wear it.

"So,where are you going?" Leaxia asked worriedly as she squeezes Yuusuke.

"Our first stop is the nearest village with an adventurer's guild, Sadonis." Reiki answered.

"Milord, Sadonis is at least a two day trip by horse-drawn carriage. It'll take you at one month to get there." The beastman chief said worriedly.

"No need to worry about that. I already have the solution." Reiji said.

Everybody, except for Raven and Mia, looks at him with a bewildered look as he whistles loudly. Suddenly, a monstrous roar echos from the ground in front of Reiji and the others. The ground opens and a car rises out of the hole. It look like a modified, futuristic version of the car from earth.

"Reiji, what's that?" Leaxia asked as a figurative demon formed around her.

"A car modified to absorb and convert the magic of its surroundings to propel forward at high speeds in seconds. I call it 'Murakumo'." Reiji said fearfully.

"I can tell it's a car. But, who's going to drive it? I hope it's not you." Leaxia said.

"Don't worry, mom. It's one hundred percent safe."

Leaxia looked at him with disbelief her face. Luckily, Reiji also had a solution for Leaxia's disbelief. He levitated his, Touka, Leaxia, and the chiefs' arms up and held them together. Suddenly, marks appeared on their skin. These marks were a way for them to track each other. It transmits each of their hearts rates to the computer in the Armory, which they has access to from their IDs.

"So, you plan on driving there no matter what I say." Leaxia said as she struggles to hold back her tears.

"Mom," Reiji and Touka thought to themselves.

Suddenly, Leaxia instinctively hugged her eldest kids, crushing Yuusuke in between the three of them.

"Please be safe and be sure to watch each other's back." Leaxia said as she let go.

Reiji and Touka noodled.

"Oh and Raven, no touching my son. Touka make sure they don't." She said as if she knew something, Raven, Mia, and Reiji blushed red as they looked away. Leaxia got an idea from their looks, but she didn't give it any mind.

"Alright, get going, you five. You have a long journey ahead of you."

"Alright, see you later, everybody. We'll be back soon." Reiji said as Touka and the others got in Murakumo. He followed and slightly adjusted the car's size to fit five people easily. He, then, started and reeved the engines, which was loud enough to scare off the non-hostile animals in the forest. Reiji put the car in gear and pulled off.

"Be careful, Reiji." Leaxia thought with a worried expression on her face.

"We will, Mom." Reiji voiced popped into her head.

As they raced down the Main Street of the city, Reiji pressed a button and the tires glowed a bright red. This enhanced the tires to drive over any rough terrain. They drove through the barrier and started their journey to save the demons.
