2 The old friend

"Alright class dismissed everyone. Enjoy your weekend!" As I was walking to my last Class a guy stopped me and started talking to me. "Hey Katie do you remember me!" I have no idea who this guy is. Nor have I seen him around school before. "I'm sorry who are you?" "Oh silly me you don't remember. I'm max remember we were best friends till the fourth grade. Then I moved in with my mom." Oh my this is max! My old best friend max! "How long has it been since I've seen you last?" "Seven years." I can't believe it it's max oh my gosh wait till I tell chloe! I gave him a huge hug. "I've missed you max." "I've missed you too kat." I cringed at the old name he used to call me. "We should hang out later like go to the movies or something." "Actually I have a party to go to tonight but you are more than welcome to tag along but I'll have to ask my best friend first. And there is something we have to do to night me and my friend." I gave him my phone as he gave me his and we exchanged numbers. "We better go before we are late to class." I said. "Ya your probably right. What class do you have next?" "Science what about you?" "The same thing! Do you mind walking me there I don't know where it is." "Ya sure let's go. So how is your mom and dad?" He looked down at the ground. "There fine." He looked a bit sad. "Um are you sure?" He looked at me and smiled. "I don't really want to talk about it right now." "Ok I'm here if you wanna talk." We were at science about to walk in. "Oh did I say science I meant math oops my bad." "Oh my gosh max your gonna be late!" "It's fine I'm new. I'll just say I got lost." I smiled he winky at me as he was walking away. Is it just me or has he gotten way cuter Over the past couple of years. I have always had a huge crush on him. And him getting cuter does not help. I walked in and sat next to chloe. "Hey girl how you holding up with peter?" "Trying to put a smile on my face to show him I'm stronger than he thinks I am. But I haven't seen him at all." "Ya neither have I.
