Ch. 1 “How it all Started” part one

It was around midnight and I stood there, facing the window. I watched as my husband arrived and kissed a woman good bye. I sat patiently, but my anxiety said otherwise. As I heard the doorknob twist open, I stood up and saw him.

My husband is Marc Li, a business man. I am Mei Shang, a woman who runs a cafe. Now that you know of me and my husband, let me continue. When Marc entered, I couldn't help but cry. He came running up to me, "Mei, Mei, what happened? Is it a bad dream?". I pushed him off me, "Who was that out there?". Marc stood back and his face of worry went away quickly. "So you finally found out.." he said. I wiped my tears and tried to contain my feelings in my head and not my mouth, "How long has this been going on..?!" I yelled in pain. Marc chuckled a bit, and smiled. "Five months." He said with no shame. I went to our closet and packed my clothes, I knew I wanted a divorce right then and there.
