Chapter 1

The dorm door slams open, startling a studying Leon to knock over his books. "What is it now",he asks exasperated, definitely not in the mood for his roommate's shit anytime soon. However his roommate doesn't take a hint blurting out "I love her". This interests Leon who stands up, patting their little couch in the crammed corner of the small apartment.' 'So I was heading to my photography class when this girl bumps into me and like she was so lost that she still continued walking and I was holding her shoulders telling her to look up" Okay now Leon was really weirded out having never seen Hope acting like this, sure he is a Dumbass and manages to get in the dumbest situations like getting his head stuck in a bucket but never this.Hope is never this excited over crushes.Then he proceeds to squeal as if his idol looked at him.Impatiently leon urges him to continue the now flailing Hope unable to keep his curiosity in check to which Hope dreamily sighed. "She was such a cute Leonie, she just looked at me with wide eyes waving her hands in apology and then she was all sheepish and invited me to that cafe nearby to make it up and I just couldn't" . Hope continued staring off into the distance with a really creepy smile. "Her taste is the same as mine" sobbed Hope lying down on Leon's lap. Now Leon was even more concerned with where this was going, never having heard of anyone who drinks cold espresso in the middle of winter alongside a fish curry puff. "Stop Leon, I know what you are thinking. By the way so don't think you're all slick" grumbled hope throwing a cushion at Leon. Leon annoyedly smacked Hope in retaliation. " So she shyly starts a conversation about bunnies randomly when we sat down at my usual spot and she has this adorable habit where she sips the coffee thinking it's not too hot then she widens her eyes in surprise and happily sips it again". Leon's heart thumps at that and he wasn't even there . "That is indeed cute". Hope nods in agreement- his eyes literally the definition of heart eyes. "Every Time she takes a too big bite of the curry puff and her cheeks fill up - humming in delight". "Why can't such cliche's happen to me" whines Leon, ``Cause that is such a romantic first meeting and his life's just been so bland till now. Hope now continues to trace hearts on his thighs with his fingers like some sort of lovesick teenager( which he probably is right now).The door slams open again this time starling both of them and their flower vase. "I fell in love" . " Weiwei what are you doing here? '' questions Leon, mad that he has friends who can't even knock like proper civilians. Weiwei just comes in and falls on top of Hope. "Dad I love her" he says, somehow managing to sound both hopeful and broken at the same time. Ignoring him both Leon and Hope go back to their moment." GUYS". Weiwei started dancing around them like a madman while they both ignored him- Leon stroking Hope's fuffly peach(slightly pink hue) hair. Weiwei stared at the scene dejectedly for a second before shaking his head and stomped down. The said action caused earned him both the roommates attention making him smile widely. This was his way of letting himself seen, after years of the roommates getting distracted making it a recurring habit of Weiwei's. He's a cutie he thinks to himself seeing that the habit still flusters his roommates occasionally. "I met her at the bus station today and she was all wet from the rain and looked a little lost puppy so I gave her mine". Hope and Leon just looked at Weiwei as if he was crazy which made him roll his eyes. Seriously no one will sacrifice their umbrellas in the current demonic tropical storms." It was all in slow motion when she ran into the bus stop in her angel like glory, deciding to sit beside me". " what's so big about that'' grumbles Hope as an ugly feeling stirred in his stomach. Weiwei snapped his head at him, looking offended but decided to let go of the matter(probably for convenience's sake cause he's a bitch like that). "Then she looked at me and giggled. It was the prettiest sound I've ever heard". Weiwei continued staring off into the distance looking broken. Then letting out a dramatic cry he continues, "Then she offered me a Kitkat''. At that Leon gasps, whispering about the coincidence, fate and other blubbering nonsense."Anyways I love her and I'm begging you guys to be my wing man".Weiwei pouted up at the both of them making Leon to smile fondly saying of course. Then they both stated excitingly chitchatting how they were going to woo her off her feet and make her fall for him. The fools were so distracted that they didn't see how Hope had started blushing suddenly looking very confused. "what's the girl's name," Leon suddenly asked snapping Hope out of his mental crisis. "Lin" both shout at the same time startling each other- Hope falling of the couch. They look at each other absolutely firing, while Leon hysterically giggles while dialing someone on the phone. "Hahahah, you guys fell in love with the same girl", repeats Leon super eager to share it with his girlfriend cause it's just to funny to him. You know what, tomorrow Leon is so telling it to everyone in campus. The door slams open the third time today as a curly haired guy enters screaming."Mom I love her".Not again. Why does it sometimes feel like Leon is cursed with living with buffoons?"Shut up, don't call me that" snaps Weiwei harsh compared to his normally playful tone- definitely not in the to deal with his roommate at the moment(besides why is he even here, their room is like two floors above).
