The monsters around Icarus, completely ignore his words and the tension continues
After almost ten minutes, the tension finally subsides and the monsters slowly get back to their own business
Occasionally a monster or another still looks at it with fear, uneasiness, or interest present in their eyes.
While he ignoring the gaze of these monsters, Icarus finally relaxes.
Then, as he walks to the bank of the lake, he sighs
"Sigh! Finally, they calmed down! Thankfully, they are just monsters. If they were some of the victims of my scams, it wouldn't end with just a few strained looks!"
Icarus is probably the only person, who if he had to choose between: being surrounded by thousands of dangerous monsters and being surrounded by a crowd of fools, who have been deceived by his swindles, would choose the first option without thinking twice
Arriving at the lake's edge, Icarus decides to crouch and wash his hands.
However, the moment his hands come into contact with the surface of the lake, Icarus begins to feel a little dizzy and weak, as if something is draining all of his energy.
Upon feeling this, Icarus quickly takes his hands out of the water and jumps backwards, stopping only after taking a few steps back
His sudden actions surprise some monsters that were around him, after the initial surprise, these monsters calm down and start looking at Icarus, as if they are looking at an idiot.
Icarus completely ignores the reaction of these monsters, and begins to check his own body.
After realizing that everything is normal, and that he doesn't feel weak anymore, he sighs and starts looking at his own hands with a tense face.
"Sigh! Okay, now... What the fuck was that? Why the hell did I feel so weak?"
While he is still confused and wondering what he just happened, somewhat obvious thought crosses his mind.
'Wait a minute... I just felt dizzy and weak after touching the surface of the lake. Is the lake the reason for my sudden weakness?'
With that in mind, he changes his view of the lake, he looks at the lake with interest for a few seconds and slowly reaches out a hand to touch the lake
Just like the first time, the moment his hand comes into contact with the lake, he feels a little dizzy and feels the energy quickly leaving his body
Upon confirming this, Icarus quickly withdraws his hand, and begins to look around at the monsters that are in contact with the lake.
After observing for some time, he realizes that when coming in contact with the lake water, the monsters tremble a little, as if they were feeling weaker
However, even when they feel this, the monsters don't feel afraid and retreat, instead they feel happy and somewhat excited, and continue to interact with the lake.
While observing the calm way the monsters deal with the situation, Icarus asks himself with a strange face
"Could it be that I'm the weirdo here?"
That said the person who came to a lake to drink water, despite knowing that the place is completely surrounded by monsters and that what is in the lake is not water.
"Oh my god, even the monsters can react to the situation more coldly and style than I do! Sigh! How low have I become..."
Facing such a strange situation, Icarus begins to question whether the life choices he made were correct
After an unknown period of self-criticism (something completely useless in his case, because no matter how many times he does it, he will never change), he decides to put that aside for now, and starts looking at the lake with a little hesitation.
However, this only lasts a few seconds, and he soon stops hesitating and then with a determined face he approaches the lake again
"Come on! What the hell is wrong with me? Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! If even the weakest monsters are facing this situation calmly. It makes no sense that I, Icarus Royle Hill, the one who is destined to become the strongest monster, can't do it!"
After living in this new world for a while, it became so natural for Icarus to classify himself as a monster, that he unwittingly clung to the mission given to him by the system
Having made up his mind, Icarus crouches down and begins to wash his hands, while ignoring the weakness he is feeling
After washing his hands, Icarus clenches his teeth and decides to drink the water from the lake
''Well, it's impossible to get worse than it already is... Right?'
With that in mind, he slowly puts his hands together, and takes a small amount of water, then tries to take
The moment the water comes into contact with his lips, Icarus thinks full of regret
'Damn it! I was wrong!'
When the lake water comes into contact with Icarus's digestive system, the feeling of weakness that he feels, becomes several times stronger

He slowly walks away from the lake and decides to lie on the ground, while ignoring system notifications that constantly remind him that what he just drank is not water.
Having nothing better to do, while waiting for weakness and dizziness to pass Icarus decides to check his stats

As soon as he opens his status, Icarus realizes a small problem
