13 Limbo! (4)

Hearing this, Icarus is happy to be able to witness a Judgement before leaving

However, soon he makes an ugly expression at the thought

'Damn! I hadn't stopped to think before! To be able to participate in a judgment the individual must have killed a few thousand innocents!'

After that thought he is frustrated and finally understands the reason for Sakdal's sadness.

"So let's start!"

Shortly after Sakdal said this, the space in front of the throne twisted and a being appears in that place.

He was a biped, muscular and very tall, being almost ten feet tall

He appeared to be covered in black fur.

It had four arms, two in the front and two in the back.

The being leaned on the front arms like a gorilla, they were thick and long, the hands were very large and muscular, each with four fingers.

The other two arms came out of the back, they were not long, but they were thin and they looked very agile, the hands were not big and each had nine fingers that were long and sharp.

The being's legs were a little small and with that, his body seemed a little disproportionate, they were muscular and had three fingers, two in the front and one in the back, at the fingertips there were claws that looked extremely sharp.

The trunk of the being looked like that of a gorilla, but in its stomach it had a gigantic mouth full of teeth.

The head of the being looked like that of a lion, but with much larger fangs that barely fit in the mouth.

His eyes were red and seemed to radiate intent to kill.

Seeing the appearance of being the first thing he thought was

"What the fuck is this!"

As if hearing the thoughts of Icarus, the goddess began to speak.

"Getryzs known by the name Drahoz Ra-"

"Who the fuck are you? How fuck do you know my name? Where I am? Respond quickly woman, before I lose my patience and kill you!"

After hearing the threat, Sakdal with an indifferent expression says calmly

"Silence!"

Hearing that voice, Drahoz falls on his knees and hits his head on the floor.

He tries to get up, but no matter how much strength he exerts, he cannot move a muscle.

After that Drahoz with his head still on the ground thinks

'Who the hell is this woman? Just a simple word from her and I feel like I have a mountain on my back She is dangerous!'

Simultaneously Sakdal looks at Icarus with an arrogant smile, something he has not seen until now.

Seeing this scene, Icarus thinks with a racing heart.

'Now I realize that she didn't lie when she presented herself as a battle goddess! Only with the pressure of her voice did she incapacitate this big guy! That was really cool! I think I'm in love!'

However, he quickly shakes his head and thinks while looking away.

'No, what the hell am I thinking? It was just a smile! Control yourself man! Why am I acting like a teenager in puberty? Jesus!'

Seeing how quickly Icarus recovered from his torpor, the goddess is impressed and thinks with a cheerful expression

'Impressive! Even other gods take a longer to escape my charm! It seems that he has a very strong willpower, maybe that's why Limbo was unable to read all his memories. This human is becoming more and more interesting!'

After thinking about it, she turns her attention to the Getryzs on the floor and her expression goes cold, then she continues to speak

"Getryzs known by the name Drahoz Rack Fattoll.

The Limbo witnessed the crimes you have committed and the innocent lives you have taken in life!

I, Sakdal Eck Plethass, Goddess of battle and one of the administrators of Limbo, will be the judge in your judgment and grant you this punishment!"

Following this speech, the goddess with an expression still cold, lightly snaps her fingers.

With this action, thousands of lights begin to appear in various places in Limbo.

These lights are all the same.

They are not very big, being a little bigger than a thumb.

They are white and slightly translucent.

After a few seconds, the thousands of lights stop moving, and are just a few meters from the Goddess.

Sakdal looks at these lights with pity and whispers so that only Icarus can hear her

"These thousands of lights are the souls, of a small percentage of the victims, who lost their lives at the hands of that monster over there! As I said before, all the souls of those who die come to Limbo and automatically reincarnate.

However, these were the souls of beings, who died a few moments before the defendant's death, so they are still here! They will be the jury of this Judgment!"

"I see..."

After continuing to look at the lights for a few more seconds, the goddess looks at Drahoz and in an icy voice she says

"From now on, the defendant will say the truth and only the truth!"

Then the Goddess slightly shakes her left hand and with this action, a small red light appears in front of Getryzs.

That light expands and covers his entire body and then disappears.

Seeing the light disappear, Sakdal nods slightly and with a dignified expression she says

"Let the Judgment begin!"

With that said, the Drahoz finally felt he could move his body.

However instead of standing up, he just slowly raised his head and looked at Sakdal in fear, while thinking

'What are those damn lights? For some reason I don't feel comfortable with them!

Anyway, after feeling all this power, I believe that this woman in front of me is really a Goddess!

She said she would judge my crimes committed in life, so that means...I'm dead!

Fuck! I thought it was just a dream, but now I see it isn't!

When I was looting that city, those motherfuckers really captured me, dismembered me and killed me!

Fuck! In the end, my death was not even on a battlefield, I was just slaughtered like a simple animal! That is a shame!'

Sakdal interrupts the Drahoz's daydreams saying

"Drahoz Rack Fattoll, over the 371 years of existence you have committed a ridiculous amount of crimes..."

Hearing the mention of Drahoz's age, Icarus is shocked and begins to look at him with a surprised face as he thinks

'371 years? Damn it man, you're extremely conserved for your age! Looking at your appearance I would tell you that you are at most 120 years old. Huehue...'

Seeing the expression of surprise on Icarus's face, Sakdal misunderstands its meaning and decides to explain something to Icarus

"Don't be surprised, at his age. Although for you race that number may seem unreal. From the perspective of many others, that amount of time would be like a one or two years. After all, there are an immeasurable amount of races around the universe, each with its own life expectations. For example, there are some who live only a few hours, while others are able to live thousands of years without ever aging. Using him as an example, his race, the Getryzs have an average life expectancy of around 500 years!"

Not expecting a long explanation, about something he didn't ask, Icarus is confused for a second, but he quickly recovers and thanks her for the information.

"Huh? Oh... Thanks for the explanation!"

After explaining this to Icarus, Sakdal turns his attention to Drahoz, the defendant, and continues with the Judgment

"As I said, you have committed many crimes in your lifetime. However, in this judgment, you will be judged specifically, for committing three major crimes.

Your first crime is have plundered more than thousand planets.

Your second crime is is have commanded the destruction of fifteen planets.

And finally, your third crime and the most serious of all, is have caused the indirectly or directly the death of more than sixty billion innocent lives"

'S,sixty billion? Damn! Now I understand why she said that these thousands of souls, who are here, are just small percentage of this guy's victims! How can he handle it? I already feel a little bad for taking some lives during my life. Well, whatever...'

Icarus thinks in horror.

"With these charges already said, I ask the defendant… Did you commit these crimes?"

Sakdal asks in a cold voice.

'Oh, so this is the number of my victims? I thought it was bigger! Anyway, being a goddess doesn't change the fact that this woman is stupid! After all, it is obvious that I will say no!'

Hearing this question, Drahoz thinks contemptuously and then answers

"Yes, I did!"

His eyes widen as he thinks

'Huh? Did I just say… Yes? What is happening?'

Realizing his surprise, Sakdal smiles and while looking at him with contempt she says

"You don't need to be surprised, as I said before you can't lie during the Judgment!"

'Huh? So is that what that red light did to me!? Damn it!'

"Well, you already admitted these crimes! So is time for the verdict! "

'Wow! When she spoke about the Judgment, I thought it would be the same as on Earth and it would take a long time to end.

Well, I was wrong! After just two minutes, we have reached the verdict! Only two fucking minutes!

Damn! This level of efficiency is clearly something that is impossible to achieve on Earth!'

Icarus thinks surprised, realizing how fast the Judgement ended

"Does the jury declare the defendant innocent or guilty?"

Sakdal and Icarus look in the direction where the thousands of lights are standing

At this moment, all the lights start to shake and turn red like blood.

Sakdal nods and coldly says

"The jury found the defendant guilty!"

Hearing this, Drahoz quickly tries to say something to defend himself, but before he can, the goddess interrupts him

"Wa-"

"Silence!"

Sakdal screams and waves her left hand, and then a red light covers Drahoz's mouth

Feeling something is wrong Drahoz quickly tries to touch his mouth, in doing so he realizes that his mouth has disappeared.

After that, he falls on his knees on the floor and start staring at the goddess in front of him with hopeless eyes.

Sakdal ignores his look and with the restored silence she continues

"I declare defendant Drahoz Rack Fattoll... guilty!"

After hearing these words, tears of despair begin to drain from Drahoz's eyes

Sakdal looks at him with contempt and keeps talking

"As a punishment, you will be sent to the planet Skarseld, where you will be hunted and killed!

However, the magnitude of your crimes is very great, so I will grant you three hundred lives!

Oh, and it's better you don't get excited, with the possibility of having three hundred lives!

After all, you will feel a burning pain in your soul and that pain will become bigger and bigger with each death!

Only after dying three hundred times, your soul will return to Limbo and you will go through a new judgment!

Well, normally I would stop here, but a scum like you does not deserve to know why you are being punished or when your suffering will end!"

Sakdal opens a long evil smile and says

"So, I'm going to erase some of your memories!"
