1 Chapter 1 Sapphire isle

The first moon of 53 Ac In Evenfall hall on the island of Tarth ser Bryndemere Tarth and his wife Alysanne Tarth née Wylde and the rest of the Tarth noble family celebrate the third child of the couple. Galladon Tarth who is named after Ser Galladon of Morne the perfect knight, who was a legendary figure from the age of heroes who was said to have slain a dragon with a magical sword given by the maiden or maid of the faith of the seven. Some say that the story was altered since knighthood was only introduced to Westeros after the Andal invasion, many nobles and smallfolk alike from the island claim descendants from him. Galladon was the 6 in line after his two older brothers gawen and Jon and their father and his cousin Ayln who is the son of their father's brother Cameron Tarth who is the heir of their father Endrew Tarth.

Endrew Tarth POV:

My fourth grandson's birth this morning was a good sign of the changing time after the mess of Maegor and the faith-militant. house Tarth had sided with Prince Jaehaerys

Targaryen or King Jaehaerys I Targaryen now and my liege lord Rogar Baratheon in 48 ac to bring down the tyrant Maegor Targaryen. which thankfully ended in us not burning and being eaten like roasted sheep by Balerion the black dread.

With the conflict over I return to the beautiful island I call home the sapphire isle of Tarth with its beautiful blue seas, lakes, waterfalls, soaring mountains, high meadows, and shadowed vales. And for the next five years after the conflict I worked to preserve that beauty, protecting and bringing prosperity to the people who call it home.

Alysanne Tarth née wylde pov

How is he eating I ask the wet nurses taking care of my last son, "he latches well my lady he just doesn't cry when he's hungry" Yes that's the thing about Galladon he doesn't really cry much or at all really. just looks around a lot like an old man who has seen it all before and a child who is curious about every new thing he sees, while observing his surroundings. I take my son from the maid and give her nod letting her know she may leave. Walking the halls with Galladon I passed by my two older sons on their way to the training yard with their cousin Alyn, I greeted them and watched as they made silly faces at the baby in an attempt to make him laugh, it was a good attempt I must admit but Galladon was a tough nut to crack and just stare at them as if they are fools. After I followed them to observe how their training was progressing. When we reached I watched as my husband the master of arms of the castle reprimanded the children for being late by having them repeatedly hit the straw dummies until they could no longer stand. I watched a while before going on with my duties for the day.

The first moon of 56 Ac Events in the world

When Galladon was three years old and experiencing his first winter, the dragon Balerion returned to kings landing the capital of the seven kingdoms, with half-healed scars and a severely ill Aerea Targaryen clinging onto its back. After disappearing in 54 ac with Balerion on dragon stone which was held by her mother at the time Rhaena Targaryen famously known as the queen in the east. Aerea was known as a shy, timid girl, much given to tears, bed-wetting, and fears. She was frightened of horses, dogs, boys with loud voices, men with beards, and dancing, and terrified of dragons, according to Grand Maester Benifer. Which was the opposite of her twin sister Rhaella, some say that Aerea and Rhaella switch places during jaehaerys crowning in Oldtown because of the change in personalities of Aerea. maester Benifer and Septon Barth attempted to heal the girl, but their efforts failed and she soon died. Benifer and Barth were traumatized by the princess's death because according to Barth "there's something inside her, something moving" looking for a way out and cooking Aerea from the inside.

Tarth 59 Ac

It has been 6 years since I've been born in Westeros and I have to say that I'm fucked because not only am I an era with flying fire-breathing tanks aka dragons, but I'm the 6 in line to Tarth which means I'm not going to inherit any lands or titles. Unless I earn it somehow and with the world I'm in it means being martially capable, and with me being on an island I have to learn how to sail as well I started my training this year with my father even though it was nothing serious just my father showing me the steps, of sword training and the bow. Had lessons with Measter Garth on the history of Tarth and the Stormlands some interesting facts were that Tarth was its own Kingdom for thousands of years

Tarth was independent all through The Dawn Age and for the most part of The Age of Heroes, when The First Long Night happened. We are talking about at least 3 or 4 thousand years of independence, where The Evenstar King was the sole ruler of Tarth.

It's unclear when they lost their independence, but I presume it was sometime after the living defeated The Others. After the Long Night ended and the living won, The Storm Kings started to gain land and establish their kingdom, the Kingdom of The Storm. That's when House Tarth lost its independence, when one of the Storm Kings Durran Durrandon, The Fair married the princess of Tarth, the Evenstar's daughter at the time, and brought Tarth under their rule.

From that moment on, Tarth was incorporated into the Kingdom of The Storm, and while they kept the title of Evenstar, the Lord and ruler of the Isle answered to The Storm Kings. But for thousands of years, Tarth was its own kingdom.

House Tarth as part of the Kingdom of The Storm before the Andals

House Tarth had been part of the Kingdom of The Storm for at least 9 generations of Kings (from Durran Durrandon, The Fair until Erich VIl Durrandon, The Unready) before the Andal Invasion happened in Westeros.
