1 A Fateful Encounter

The rain was particularly heavy today. The people on roads were trying to rush to a shelter to at least get where they were going a little faster to avoid getting too wet. The sun has just set so the sky looked gloomy but at least the lights were making it a little easy to look through. A man walked on the road side in gray checkered shirt and pants with worn out sneakers. His skin was a healthy color but his beard was a little overgrown, the most unusual thing was the patch of white hair on his head on right side. He had poliosis after that 'incident' in his childhood and then with passing years, that patch become permanently white. He had never tried coloring it either. What use was it? The color would fade again. So why do the effort. After all he had more 'important' matters to attend to.

He looked up at the sky but had to close his eyes due to heavy rain. It felt like small stones were hitting his face as he felt the rain droplets. He was drenched already and his body felt heavier and heavier. His shirt clung to his body as he stood there in silence. People , vehicles, their noise, everything just disappeared. He felt that alone right now. "What am I suppose to do now? Dad.." He mumbled and the rain water slipped through his lips into his mouth.

A strange taste...

He staggered a bit. The people looked at him, someone even tapped his shoulder asking if he was ok. If he needed help but the man didn't speak and the person offering help, had to leave in the end. Because to the drenched man, he had lost his only driving force. The person who made him breath just left the world so how was he suppose to go on with life? What was he suppose to do now.

"How about coming with me?"

The voice came out of nowhere. It penetrated his thick shield of oblivion. His eyes widened and lips trembled. Suddenly as if his senses returned to him and he hugged himself, turning to where the voice came from, with frightful eyes. The voice sounded strange, as if too many were talking , as if there was some static in there. Hw was startled and goosebumps broke on his skin as if oppressed by something. Something felt so sticky, so much more humid in his lungs.

There was man that stood in the middle of the road without any fear.

"What are you-"

His wide eyes were looking at the man standing there, whom no car was touching, as if it was just a hallucination. They were just passing by and just why...Why in the world was that man not drenched like him. He looked like an angel. That stunning man with a halo of light. His blonde hair and bright golden eyes looked at the drench man, like a messiah.

"Are you here to free me?" The man asked. It must be the angel of death. Was death always so beautiful? Or was he being given a last service. The people around him were distancing as they looked at him curiously, murmuring or outright ignoring the madman talking to air. He felt that, and he felt it even more then, that this was real. They couldn't see 'him'.

Ah THE SALVATION!

The man only laughed softly, a beautiful clear voice. He raised his hand, the gloved fingers on chin in a thoughtful expression and then looked at the drenched man who had hopeful expression on his face. The stunning man opened his arms and spoke in that strange voice that hurt his ears.

"Yes. I will free you. So come with me."

And the drenched man finally felt a little more strength coming into his feet. and so he dragged them.

'Is that man out of his mind?!'

'Hey mister! snap out of it!'

'Hey-Fuck!'

He had pushed away the helping hand with all his might. He rushed onto the road, and ran straight to his messiah. The stunning male smiled.

"You will be perfect~"

The angelic smile turned vicious in second and the panting male stopped, looking at the ethereal man. His heart was gripped by something strange. His breathing grew heavier as he looked to side and two headlights, coming fast in his direction. Everything was incredibly slow as he stood there in the face of his death and the people on sidewalk shouted. He turned back to look at the stunning man who smiled.

" Will you let me serve you" The stunning man stood in the middle of the crowded road, bewitching him, a devil's temptation.

The man with dilated pupils looked at him , panting heavily in rain and his eyes narrowed with confusion, "what?"

"Let's meet in hell. Master."

and then, he was hit by the car....
