To America

Two months passed just like that... but whatever Nick and others have thought never happened. Nick has imagined that Tadashi would do something but that didn't happen. Nick could feel emotions of a person, even if Tadashi was like that but he never tried to create any conflict within the base.

But he really kept annoying Nick and the other leaders about participating in the meeting. Nick found that he wanted to know what ever happened which created that bright flash outside the base.

Nick found out that Tadashi was a good man... he was too good for his own good. Whenever he wanted to know what happened Nick always rejected him, this made him angry but his heart never showed any malice of any kind. Nick was shocked but he discussed the thing the topic with other leaders and they made the decision to see what he does. Shion didn't say anything else she already paid what she owed to Tadashi.

Nick and Shion relationship was mended on the same day on which the conflict happened. Shion told him that Tadashi was the one who helped her getting used to her job when she first took a life. Well it was done in her self defence when the culprit shot her partner because she wasn't able to pull the trigger to take down the culprit. Apparently she blamed herself for the death of her partner and she was also disturbed that she took a life. Tadashi was the one who helped her to ease up and move on.

Shion also told him that she didn't want to do anything against Tadashi only because she knew that he wouldn't do anything like that. She knew that he was a good man and he only wanted to know because he was worried about his men's safely along with all the people in their base.

Nick knew that Tadashi was a good man but he didn't want to trust him blindly because he could have easily created a mess of their system in Fort Morningstar. Shion also decided not to say anything more since she knew that Tadashi won't do anything like that. She was the one who knew him best among the four leaders.

It wasn't that Nick didn't trust Shion but it was actually quite the opposite but some things were still needed to be seen by his own eyes to believe. He wasn't going to let someone ruin his hard work of making a base. Though it would be really thrilling to make a new base from the scratch but Saya's parents were also a part of this base and they would rather die than leave these people to die.

General Amami has also inquired about what happened at the subway. But when he found out that Nick was still alive he decided that the explosion happened because of something else since there was no way that someone could survive that kind of blast. He didn't pursue the matter anymore and which Nick has pretty much guessed beforehand.

Nick also delayed his trip to America because he was tied up with his work. The ramparts were almost complete and he had to raid a cement factory for the process. It was pretty annoying if he has to say. He also delayed his trip because of Rika. He didn't want to leave her after he made her his immortal wife which Rika appreciated very much. Shizuka was also happy that Rika also joined their group. She didn't want to outlive her best friend.

Nick has decided that the base was developed enough for now for it to sustain itself. After all, he would be leaving the base for unknown interval of time. He decided to leave behind Saeko in the base since after him Saeko was the strongest one. Saeko wasn't happy with it but she decided to follow his decision since she was a diligent wife.

So, Nick finally decided to let let Tadashi know what was happening but he would only spill some beans after Tadashi would promise him that he would not spill the same beans in front of others.

POV (Nick)

Well... I was currently sitting with Tadashi sitting at the opposite side of the table in the meeting room.

Tadashi: So you finally decided to share everything?

Nick: Yes... but I will only do that if you promise not to tell anyone else... maybe your wife but nobody else.

Nick could clearly see that Tadashi wasn't happy with it but there wasn't any place for negotiations. Nick still didn't feel any sort of malice from Tadashi.

Tadashi: What??! Why!!? Everyone should know...

Nick: Don't be an idiot... if you tell others what will they do? It will only cause panic.

Tadashi started to contemplate over a few things and finally relented.

Tadashi: Fine... I promise that I won't tell anyone else except my wife... but what is so important that you need to guard it like this?

Nick: I will tell you that... we have found out the cause of this outbreak.

Tadashi was clearly shocked and almost jumped on me. Thank Death for the table between us... I don't want a man jumping on me for any or whatever reason there is.

Nick: It is called T-Virus and it is made by Umbrella Corporation...

After that I told about how we found out about this from the S.T.A.R.S base. I also told him how they were collecting data on the infected like they were lab rats. I also told him about the nest and that he didn't need tk worry since I killed all of those beasts and burnt the nest. After that I told him about the Umbrella Corporation base I found which blew up before we could enter the base.

Tadashi: That was a huge explosion... how did you survive that.

Nick: Guess it was my luck... I found the base and decided to return to General Amami so that I can get the rewards for the job. I decided to keep it for later or General Amami would become suspicious and might come down the subway tunnel.

Tadashi: So you decided to return after dealing with General Amami...

Nick: Bingo...!! That is the reason we are still alive. If I had decided to check the base before visiting General Amami then I would have been disinterested along with Rika, Saeko, and Saya.

Tadashi: Oooh... I understand.

Nick: Yep... now since the base was already destroyed I decided not to tell anyone and as you can also guess that telling everyone about the T-Virus and Umbrella Corporation won't bear any fruits, I decided to keep it within the leaders.

Tadashi: ...I guess you are right... I just wanted to keep everyone here safe and I thought that you are keeping some dangerous secret which could lead to our deaths. Though this could also lead to our deaths but it will only cause unnecessary mayhem.

Nick: Good... now that this is done with I will be leaving.

Tadashi: Wait...!! Why are you going to America now?

Nick: Well. As everyone knows I am from America so it is pretty much understandable that I am visiting there... since the base can now sustain even without my presence now. I decided to check that out.

Tadashi: Ooh... I understand.

I didn't wait anymore and left the room and headed towards my room. I am going to take Saya and Rika with me. Shizuka can't go because of her duty in the medical ward and Shion couldn't leave because of her duties. Well, I could take Saeko-chan with me but then the base would be left undefended. Even of the walls are high now but Tanks could still break in. And I would be leaving the base for undefined time.

I entered my room and saw that Saya-chan and Rika-chan were done with their packing. Well I have already slept with Rika-chan and our relationship has grown by leaps and bounds. Even though she was slightly liberal she only showed that side in front of me now. The bed in the room was quite cramped now since Rika-chan also joined us. I need to get a new bed... maybe I should go back to my world and get a absurdly huge bed for myself and the girls.

Nick: Are you both done?

Saya: Yes... I only took clothes and my laptop and few hard drives, guns and ammunition are already in your storage space.

Nick: What about the Aim-bot gun I gave you.

Saya: Ohhh... I have taken that. You don't need to worry.

Rika: Well I also took the same with me...

Nick: Ok then we should be going I guess... where is Saeko-chan and Shizuka-chan, and Shion-chan by the way?

Rika: They are outside along with Yuriko and Soichiro.

Nick: Oh...

Well I just stored their bags inside by storage space and the three of us went downstairs. We reached the parking lot and saw that my other three wives were waiting there with Soichiro and Yuriko. They were standing in front of my personal vtol which now had a graffiti paint job. I kissed my wives one by one and promised them to call everyday. I bid temporary farewell to Soichiro and Yuriko and entered the vtol followed by Rika and Saya.

Rika took the pilot seat while I and Saya sat inside. Rika powered up the engines and the vtol started to rise up. Rika turned on the satellite GPS on the vtol. The GPS won't sent signals to any other Umbrella bases because Rika have already taken care of it and this was a military GPS system. Even though it was not advanced like the one from Umbrella but at least it won't sent out signals to their bases.

Rika turned the vtol towards the direction of America and flew towards that direction.
