A step ahead

"This…what are you doing here, Young master?" Yin Zhu tried to be as calm as possible on the surface as she looked at the man in front of her. However, the thumping of her heart gave her away, that sounded like a drum being beaten. 

He stopped by her bedside, his arms in the pockets of his pants and his thumbs sticking out of the pocket. 

"What do you think I am doing?" He asked in a voice which was reverberating in the room and stabbed her ears. 

He leaned down and reached down to grab the blanket that was covering her body. Yin Zhu reached out and grabbed the blanket, her nails digging into the fabric as she stared at the man in the eyes. 

"Let go," he ordered her with an authoritativeness that rolled out from his lips with apparent ease.
