8 Chapter 7

It was a very sunny day, lupus and I was walking to a market. It's been two weeks since I was transferred into this world. I just bought new clothes, a blue sweater and black long pants. I never thought that I will be ever wearing these clothes in this world. Now, lupus and I are buying some fruits.

"Hey Lupus, do you eat fruits or vegetables?" I asked while showing him an apple.

"I'm a wolf, so I can't eat things besides meat. Don't you know, wolves are carnivorous so we only eat meats?" Lupus replied.

I was very embarrassed. This world food chain is the same as my own world. Suddenly, I felt a touch on my shoulder. I look behind me and saw a tall man was a holding a leash. The leash was connected to a white Swan.

" Hey, move if you don't want to buy." the man said while pushed me from the stall.

"rude," I said quietly but he has a good ear and makes a pissed face that looks like he wants me to die.

"Listen punk, I don't want any other problem. It's enough that I had a problem with this swan and now you. Don't make me take your wolf too."

"you won't be!" Lupus said while growling.

"you think I scare of you! I'm a hunter crying out loud. I can eat your kind alive." the man said while slowly walked to lupus and faced him.

"okay lupus, we're done here." I said while pulling lupus away from that man creepy face. "let's go to a butcher there." I said while pointing to a meat store. I need to cool the situation down.

While pulling Lupus, I saw the swan and it looks like it was frowning. When I saw her, I feel like something weird like I know this feeling before. After a few moments of staring at the swan, the man saw me starring at it and he pulled the swan's leash and walked away.

A few minutes later, we're in the butcher shop. "so, what kind of meat do you like." I asked Lupus.

"I love some chicken." lupus said while waging his tail from excitement. Guess he really likes chicken.

After we bought the chicken, we continued our grocery list. We are tasked by Wendy to buy some groceries for the guild member. After two hours of groceries, Lupus and I headed back to the guild. I walked to the guild counter which Wendy is at.

"Oh, your back! Thank you, I hope you can take this as a gift of gratitude." she gave me a paper bag. I look I side it and saw 5 silver coins and a pastel colour yellow scarf. "while walking in the market, I saw that scarf and taught that you would look nice with it." Wendy explained to me.

"Oh, can I use the kitchen?" I asked Wendy and he makes a face which implies (what are you gonna do). "well, I want to cook a dish from my hometown" I said while showing my own groceries. Then, Wendy gave me a nod and I walk to the kitchen.

After 15 minutes in the kitchen, I carry the plate and show it to Lupus. "I present you Lupus my hometown food, Karaage," I said while showing him the plate. In my own world, I love to cook chicken Karaage because it's very easy and very delicious as well.

While seeing Lupus happily eating, I heard a couple of the guild member talking. They said that there is a scary looking tall man and a white Swan wandering the forest and hunting for goblins. I immediately knew who that man is. After a few minutes of eavesdropping, I finally know the location he's in.

Afterwards, I go to the place with Lupus and find the man. I was wondering why would a man brought a swan and hunt for goblins. I also wondered why I feel the same presence when I see the swan. It must be one of the Constellation, Cygnus the swan!! After a few minutes of riding Lupus' back, we finally arrived. I saw the man whipping the swan and shouted to it.

"you stupid swan!! What can you do?! I bought you at a good price and I thought you would be strong but you are very useless." the man said while whipping the swan constantly. Without any hesitation, I jumped in front of the swan to protect it.

The man was very angry to see me. I quickly hug the swan and my back was very exposed to the man and he whips me. It's very painful but I can endure it. Then, Lupus jumped and bite the man arm that was whipping me. He shouted from the pain and Lupus jumped and landed in front of me.

"you are stupid you know that." Lupus said while watching closely at the man. I smiled at him and quickly took the swan somewhere safe. After searching for the safest place, I put the swan down.

"your name is Cygnus am I right." I said afterwards, the swan nodded. "stay here, I will help my friend Lupus." I said while patting the swan head gently.

I look at lupus fighting the man and quickly jumped to help Lupus. About a week now from the battle with the goblins and I can finally controlled the new power that was bestowed upon me. To activate it, I have just to say.

"Constellation form, Lupus mode," I said while my clothes starting to change. My ear transform, the tail came out and shadow claws start to appear.

Then, Lupus and I jumped at the same time and attack the man. We both use shadow magic. We scratch the man arms, legs and clothes. I thought we already won but I was mistaken.

The man-body start to grow, more muscle starts to grow and his skin starts to change colour. From a normal beige colour, his skin turned into a grey skin tone colour. Horn starts to come out of his head and 2 Dracula liked teeth grow in his mouth. I look closely and realised that he's actually an ogre who disguises himself as a normal human.

We can't give up now! Cygnus is depending on us. We must save Cygnus of it will die because of that ogre. We tried to attack the ogre again but he slams us to the ground. Then, the ogre punches us and we hit a tree. My back hurt really badly. Suddenly, my wounds start to heal and I look around to see the source of it and it was Cygnus! Cygnus power is to heal wounds. The ogre also saw it and was very angry.

"you stupid swan! You dare heal them instead of me! I'm going to kill you!!" the ogre said while walking to the swan and ready to kill it. The ogre swings his arm and ready to attack but a person with burlywood colour skin and blue navy hair that just look like mine. He was wearing a jeans jacket with a white shirt inside. Besides that, he also got ears and tail like a wolf. It looks like me when I'm in Lupus form. I look at lupus but he was nowhere to be found. It can't be thought to myself that the person who blocked the ogre attack is Lupus!
