7 Chapter 6

The situation is very tense. Lupus is fighting the goblins but one of them came for us. I must think quickly! I look around and found a big stick I can beat the crap out of the goblin. I think, but no matter what I need to protect Toby. I should never allow him to follow us. It's my fault, to begin with.

"Toby, let's run for now!" I said while holding his hand tightly and run with him.

We ran but Toby's stamina is running out cause he is just a child. I think it's time for me to fight the goblin. I hold the stick in my right hand and asked Toby to run away for now. Toby agreed and ran away.

Lupus's POV

I just let one of the goblins escaped and it was chasing Satou and Toby. I must believe in him and finish these goblins quickly so that I can aid him. I use my shadow magic and make a second wolf and we attack the goblins. One of the goblins attack the shadow wolf's head but it didn't work and it just phrase through. Shadow is good for physical battle cause they can hit others but they can't hit them back. The only weakness is a magic attack.

Then, a goblin tried to do the same to me but I dodge it. After that, I jump on top of the goblin and scratch him with my big and sharp claws. I scratch many times until the goblins died. Meanwhile, the shadow wolf is fighting the other two

One of the goblin's hands was eaten by the shadow wolf and it looks like he was very shocked. I can still see the red blood that was coming out of his green body. Then, the shadow wolf finishes the blow by slice the goblin's head. Now there's only one more I just finished him quickly.

I heard a distant scream and it was must be Satou. I quickly ran to the sound and found Satou's shoulder was hit by the goblin. Satou still standing and Toby is nowhere to be found.

"where is Toby?" I asked Satou

"don't worry about him, I let him run so that I can defeat the goblin," he said while holding a stick shaking.

A few moments later the goblin that I supposed to kill arrived and the two goblins reunited.

Satou's POV

I'm glad that Lupus came and I will kill that goblin. I touched lupus's fur and suddenly, my clothes start to change my school shirt was replaced by a dark Jean jacket and white t-shirt inside it. My pants change into black jeans and a glove that covers 2 fingers comes out of nowhere. A tail came out of my back. I look up and sense that my ears transform into wolf ears. The ears and tail were the same colour as my hair which is the same as lupus's fur. I look at my stick and a black thing came out of it and throw it away. I make a big mistake cause how do I defeat the goblins now, suddenly a shadow came out of both of my hands. The shadow transforms itself into a big hand and the fingers are laws. I think this is one of the powers of the Constellation holder. We can use the power of the Constellation.

"you can use the same magic as me?" lupus asked me.

"I think we can share our magic." I said while looking at my tail. "are you ready lupus?" I asked him while ready to attack the goblins.

"yes!" lupus shouted and we both run towards the goblins and attack them.

Lupus bites one of the goblin's leg and runs to the tree and the goblin's head hit the tree and Lupus throw the goblin. The goblin stands up and picks up its stick that fell and tries to hit Lupus. Suddenly his head was chop of by a clawed shadow that lupus made.

Meanwhile, I keep dodging the goblin attack and I jump on a tree where the goblin can't reach. Then, I jump and slash the goblin into 5 slices. After that, lupus and I reunited.

"that's a good job," I said then, suddenly I saw lupus face swirling and I fainted. After an hour I woke up. I look around and saw Lupus beside me.

"you're awake Satou." Lupus said while waging his tail smiling.

"What happened to me?" I asked Lupus.

"you fainted cause you're not used to using the power. So after you finished the battle, you fainted. After that, I carry you to the Guild Hall." Lupus explained to me.

"What about the cat?" I asked and suddenly the door open. It was Toby! I'm very glad that he was safe.

"thank you, Mr. Satou and Mr. Lupus for bringing back my Jerry," Toby said while holding his cat.

"here is the reward that we get." lupus said while giving me a pouch. I look inside and saw 30 silver coins.

"I thought it was only 10 silver coins?" I asked Lupus cause the job was only offering 10 silver coins when we read at the poster.

"remember the goblins that we kill? I harvest them and sell them to the guild after that. Before that, I came back to find the cat after a place you here. Don't worry about the fee for this room. Wendy said that I was free for the injured member of the guild." Lupus explained again and I was very relieved cause I will not forgive myself if anything happens to Lupus and Toby.

Then, the door open and it was Wendy this time. She was carrying a tray that has a glass of water and a plate of fried rice. She walked to the nearest table and put the tray on top of it.

"you must be hungry Mr. Satou, so I prepare a meal for you. Rest well soon." Wendy said while exiting the room.

"I'm also going home so by Mr. Satou and Mr. Lupus," Toby said while also exiting the room.

"lupus, are we old enough to get a Mr tittle?" I asked him cause I'm 16 years old and lupus is only 15.

"I don't know about it either." lupus said while looking at me confused.

"how about after this, we go to the market and look around. This will help us to know the location in the town. By the way, how much worth are these silver coins?" I asked Lupus cause I don't want to be tricked by the market seller.

"How could you not know?" lupus asked me but I give him an awkward giggle. "alright, there are 4 types of coins. Copper, silver, gold, and platinum. 100 copper coins equal to 1 silver coin, 100 silver coins equal 1 gold coin and finally 100 gold coins equal to 1 platinum coin. 1 copper coin can buy a piece of candy and 1 silver coin can buy you a meal. 1 gold coin can buy you a house meanwhile platinum can buy a piece of land. " Lupus explained to me. I was shocked to hear it cause he was just a wolf. How can he know this much?

" how do you know this? " I asked him.

" Ohh, Wendy told me earlier. " Lupus said. I was correct how can a wolf that lived in the woods know about the human currency. As I see through the window, a bird flying freely into the clear sky.
