2 Iblisburgh

She opened her eyes. The Sun was shining brightly in the sky above. But the spookiness of the city couldn't be pushed away even by the bright light rays which were penetrating through the dark. She got up from the dusty corner of the deserted street she was lying on. She walked along the road out of the haunted city side stepping towards the cottageof Barnia. She stopped on her way at the entrance of the gloomy part of the city by catching a glimpse of something shiny. It was none other than the dusty notice board of the city. She wiped the dust away by her dirty hands coated in dried blood.

"The Entrance To Iblisburgh"

"No Defilions allowed."

"Iblisburgh? Do people actually live here? Who are Defilions?" She muttered to the silent breeze around her. She turned back and continued her journey towards the city. When she reached the cottage it was too crowded around it that the huge board saying 'Barnia' was barely visible. She sneaked into the cottage by the secret opening at the back of it. She hid behind the chimney watching the group of cops which were investigating a dead body of a boy around 15 years of age. She tried to remember the incident that happened last night. But it was just a faded set of incomplete memories. She remembered herself visiting the cottage late at night asking for some tea after a long and exhausting day. Loud screams of fright and yells of pain kept revolving around her head. "Who is he? Why did I kill him?". Knowing that she had killed him, she tried to remember why she had done so. But her memories did not support the theory she had acknowledged. "I did kill him, but was I responsible for it? Was I in control of my actions?" She kept questioning herself. "But what was controlling me?" Her mind was lost in all this confusion.
