Chapter 5 Glad kingdom

Hope handed over a bowl with a thick red liquid to Mark he looked at it then back at hope confused "what's this sister." Mark looked down thinking the worse "even want to get rid of me don't well you won't have to worry cause I'll be gone soon enough!" He said hope looked at him surprised she couldn't think of words that would tell him that's not the case once she thought of words he immediately drank the red liquid he gaged he looked over to his sister upset "you don't have to see me die I know you'll be happy." Said Mark he looked down crying a bit hope lost the words she thought of and remained frozen.

"I thought you cared about me but I guess I was wrong." Whispered Mark hope held his hand mark looked at her confused hope smiled "you idiot I do care about you that was medicine to help you get better." She said mark looked at her shocked he hugged her surprised and upset for his accusations "I'm sorry hope I didn't mean-" said Mark "I know you don't have to apologize anyone would think the worse of a liquid being bring to them when everyone is saying rude thing about them." Said Hope before mark could apologize he had felt unforgivable he smiled as Hope clarified to him she forgives him.

"Wait so how long do I have to use that medicine?" Mark said hope smiled she looked up "a few days close to a week by then you'll be able to enjoy life outside instead of being bed ridden." Said hope mark smiled hope looked back down at him smiling back mark looked back down he sighed deeply "can I tell you something that's been eating at me for as long as I can tell?" Mark said hope nodded "you feel more like my mommy then mom herself." Said Mark hope looked at him confused "whys that?" Hope said "you visit me and actually take care of me ever since I've been bed ridden mommy hasn't visited me once she's always had either you or the servants come here and it's mostly you who comes." Said Mark.

Hope frowned she looked down "i-it's time for sleep okay so rest." Said hope mark nodded he laid down and started to fall asleep hope left the room she trembled when she exited into the hall 'I can't tell him no matter how much I just can't if Zahir could watch me it means I can't tell anyone I just need to talk to mom she already knows.' Hope walked though the hall she trembled as she continued walking once she got to her moms room she stopped she entered violet jumped a bit and looked over she sighed once she saw who it was she saw hopes face and looked at her worried "what's wrong hope?" Violet said.

hope ran and hugged her mom she started crying "mom I want to tell him so much." Hope said violet looked at her she hugged Hope back "once stopping you your dads gone he can't threaten to kill him so tell him." Violet said hope looked at her scared "what if I tell him and he hates me I bet he already thinks I'm the worse person." Hope said violet hugged her tightly "don't be afraid if he doesn't accept you..... he can't hate you forever sooner or later he'll have to accept it." Said violet she immediately exited the embrace hope nodded she gasped "okay I'll tell him mom and thanks for the advice." Hope said.

Violet smiled she nodded "I'm just glad I'm still a role model to you even after what happened." Said violet moved her hands to her chest frowning hope looked at her she smiled "life's random mom nobody knows what's going to happen to me." Hope said violet looked at her angered "but still what he did to you after your siblings died is messed up I should have stopped it!" Violet said hope sighed she smiled and moved her hand down to her stomach "look mom I don't blame you if you would have stopped it dad could have caused you to go to war plus there's something good that came out of it." Hope said.

Hope remembered the day that it happened to immediately shut it down and she looked up she turned around and gestures goodbye and left.
