3 Unexpected turn of events?

There were a few things I feared as a 16 year old boy. However, nothing ever made my blood run cold like when my mother called my full name in Spanish.

As soon as I heard my mother's voice I turned toward the door and sprinted as if my life depended on it. As I ran downstairs I remembered exactly how unfit I currently was ,as even though I only went down a few steps, I was already beginning to feel short of breath.

As I got to the main floor and went into the living room ,I saw my mother.

My mother is not a menacing woman however you look at her. As a matter of fact, you would think that she was a nice, 5'3 Mexican woman just by looking at her.And for the exception of a few times when my mother is angry, she generally is. Now let me just clarify, my mom is not necessarily a bad person per se, but if I were to be able to choose from either having to face my mother's wrath, or fighting a dangerous animal, I'd probably have you start calling me Steve Irwin, because boy would I wrestle me some crocodiles.

"H-hey mom, what do you need?" Aaron asked timidly as if he was a subordinate talking to their boss.

His mother looked at him, saw what clothes he was wearing,and sighed."I keep telling you to throw those clothes away, but you just keep being stubborn, I worry whether you'll ever get a girlfriend", his mother said in a worrying tone.

Aaron laughed awkwardly while still acting nervously. " Sorry, I'll make sure to take your advice, but what did you need ma?" Aaron asked.

"You has to pick up your brothers from practice, don't tell you didn't remember", Aaron's mother said while sounding rather irritated.

Oh shit, I forgot I used to pick up my brothers back in middle school. Quick think of an excuse!

"Oh uh, they said they were going to the theater to watch the new movie with their friends!"

"Hmm..." Aaron tensed as he waited for what his mother was going to say. "Okay, just make sure to go check on them, I don't want anything to happen to my little angels", Aaron's mom said as she had an endearing expression on her face.

"Yeah sure ma"

"Also, make sure to change your clothes, I don't want you heading outside in that outfit. I'm going to head out to buy groceries for dinner. Oh, I almost forgot, your friend called earlier, she said something about there being an emergency, whatever that means."

" Ah, okay, thanks ma", Aaron said as his mother nodded and turned around to leave to go buy groceries.

"I wonder what emergency Aria was talking about" Aaron stood pondering for a while before having a shocked expression on his face. Ah, I remember what the emergency was now, Aria wanted me to go with her to the anime convention, but she forgot where her costume was so we ended up spending the whole day looking for it! I remember because Aria kept whining and blaming me about it for a few months. Hmm, I already know where it is, so I might as well help her, even if I don't like anime things anymore.

Aaron went up to his room and put on some red running shoes, jeans, a white t-shirt and a red flannel shirt over it.

Thank god my mom had the reason buy normal clothes for me, I would've been extremely embarrassed if I had to leave wearing camo pants and a t-shirt with one piece characters on it.

[If you wish to replace your clothes, you can just collect them into your Realm as materials and then recreate them to look however you want them to.]

Wait, how does that work exactly?

[Your Realm breaks down the materials into raw matter, and then recreates them into whatever you need, however, you cannot create anything extremely complicated, you need to do that yourself when you enter your Realm.You can recreate it to become food or clothing however]

Huh, that's awfully convenient, I'm starting to like the system.I guess I'll use all my anime clothes as materials for now, not like I have a shortage of those.

Suddenly a small portal appeared beside Aaron and small beams of light began to come out of it as they reached into Aaron's closet and disintegrated his clothes . The entire process took 5 seconds before the beams were finished and retracted into the portal before disappearing into thin air.

Huh, it was more than I expected, I guess I can't underestimate the love I had for the stuff before. Never mind that though, I better get going and pick up my brothers and then head to Aria's place after I bring them home.

About 30 minutes after I left the house I finally arrived at the a sports center where my little brothers practiced soccer. Outside the sports center I saw two small 9 year old boys with angry looks on their faces.

"Where the hell were you fatty!", one of the children said.

"Sorry Chris, I lost track of time while I was watching Naruto" Aaron said apologetically with an awkward expression on his face.

"Well you better make it up to us or else we'll rip all of your posters up and throw them into the trash", the other boy said.

"Go ahead Ivan", Aaron said while smirking

I didn't really care about any about that stuff anymore, so any threats they used to make didn't apply to me anymore

Ivan looked surprised after he heard his brother's words. His older brother had always felt strongly about his things, so he expected him to react like always did.

I am rather surprised to see my little brothers like this again. Ivan and Chris were the same height at 4 feet and 4 inches tall. Ivan was had dark brown hair, slightly thick eyebrows and had a darker skin tone than Chris had. Chris on the other had very light skin, light eyebrows, and light brown hair. Both of my brothers had brown colored eyes.

"Well anyways, I better get you guys home before mom gets home, or else she'll get mad at me. I'll buy you guys something at the store tomorrow, sound good?"

Both boys nodded despite the fact that they continued to have an angry expression on their face

Aaron placed his hands on his brothers heads to ruffle their hair, but before he could do anything else he received a notification from the system
