Adonis was tidying up things on his desk so he could leave early, however, a notification on a blue panel came in front of him.

Seeing A2's ping made Adonis raise an eyebrow, but then, he decided to reply.

Adonis set his work aside, lightly tapping his desk repeatedly. He had no intention of going to the One-Piece world anytime soon and didn't see a reason to participate in the Marineford battle. However, A2's reminder changed his perspective.

There were various items in the One-Piece world that could be useful to him. He wasn't relying on Nami to find Devil Fruits for him; her search for seeds alone was valuable. 

As for the Devil Fruits, they would naturally come to him when the time was right. All he had to do was wait for Nami to be ready.

Adonis turned to Cocolia and spoke with a hint of amazement, "Cocolia... Sometimes, I really wonder how you managed all these tasks back then..." He observed her tired expression, her eyes lacking their usual light.

Cocolia, with disheveled hair and a lifeless face, responded, "No kidding. I'm at least thankful that you're not dumping everything on my head." 

Her energy seemed drained, and Adonis couldn't help but offer a wry smile.

"Lord Guardian, another outsider is currently looking for an audience with you."

The voice came beyond the door of his office, "come in."

"Yes, Lord Guardian." The Soldier bowed his head.

"Alright, Speak."

"Yes, Lord Guardian, the guest in particular said she wants to see you no matter what, and about the guest… she doesn't seem human… no, she's not human, she looks oddly like a puppet." The soldier explained, even he himself was not sure of what to say.

"Oh? A puppet huh?"

Adonis mused, of course, there's only a character that comes to mind, and of course, it's Herta of the Herta space station. A genius who has successfully researched rejuvenation and various imaginable technologies.

'Interesting, so I'm guess Welt told her about me and she's here to research me?' Adonis mused, but then, 'can't be sure it's her yet.'

"How does she look like?" Adonis asked.

"Yes, Lord Guardian, she should be less than 140cm, she looks exactly like a little girl."

Ah, hearing this, Adonis was now sure it was here, "I see… if it's who I think it is, then we really are lucky to have her attention, bring her in."

"Yes, Lord Guardian." The soldier saluted as he exited the office, walking down fort creeper, he looked towards the seemingly young girl. "Lord Guardian welcomes you."

The man said with a curt bow, however, she didn't react, "???" the soldier tilted his head to the sides, it wasn't until five minutes later, the little girl reacted.

"Can I go in now?" She asked.

"Yes… but please—"

She didn't wait for him to finish as she stormed up the stairs without looking back.
