59 Another Herrscher?

"Principal Theresa! The science department has detected a high Houkai energy fluctuation in Nagazora City. "

Midnight, St. Freya Academy, Far East. Theresa was awakened from her sleep by the sound of the emergency communication.

After hearing the report, Theresa rubbed her eyes and her face revealed that she was still half-asleep. She then said in a weak voice, "Is it an Emperor-class Honkai Beasts? Now that all of the survivors in Nagazora City have been evacuated, there's no need to worry too much. I will tell Major Himeko to deal with it later after dawn break. Meanwhile, you just have to make sure that the Emperor-class Honkai Beast doesn't leave the city."

"No! This is a more powerful fluctuation than an Emperor-class Honkai Beast. The Science Department speculates that it is... Herrscher Fluctuations!"

"Impossible!"

Theresa, who was previously only half-awake, exclaimed and is immediately woken up completely before she hurriedly changed from her pajamas into a nun outfit.

(Fun Fact from Editor: The only large-scale Honkai Eruption that didn't produce a Herrscher is the Eruption from the Philippines. I think it was an event from the game, I don't remember, I didn't experience it because I quitted when it happened.)

"The Honkai Energy fluctuations that we detected this time is weaker than the 3rd Herrscher's Honkai Energy. We suspect that since the Nagazora City has lost its Herrscher, the remaining Honkai Energy began gathering and is trying to create a new Herrscher, albeit a much weaker one."

The staff paused for a second before continuing, "But we believe that this Herrscher doesn't have the required amount of energy to for its Herrscher Core and it's creation would likely be slow as well, but if this is allowed to continue, it will possibly become a threat."

"So we have no choice but to deal with it immediately." replied Theresa rhetorically.

"Then should we contact Major Himeko to deal with the problem immediately using the Hyperion, Principal Theresa?"

Theresa thought for a moment before replying, "...No, she just came back from Nagazora City. Even though she and her crew didn't fight any serious battles, we shouldn't bother their rest. Prepare the flying ship Helios, I will go there myself instead."

"Understood!"

After ending the communication, Theresa grabbed the giant cross in the corner of the room and carried it on her back. The cross is twice as big as her own body, even weighing 152 kg.

It was the eleventh Divine Key, Oath of Judah, a weapon relic from the previous era, her grandfather had given it to herself.

Ordinary people couldn't lift it casually and even an A-rank Valkyrie with great physical strength like Himeko, who wielded a greatsword herself, couldn't easily lift it.

But Theresa is different, she has the genes of the Emeperor-class Honkai Beast Vishnu, couples with the Kaslana genes that provided her enormous physical strength that surpassed even that of most S-rank Valkyries, therefore she had no problem wielding the giant cross and using as a blunt weapon to crush Honkai.

"Where are you going this late at night, Principal Theresa?"

Theresa, who had just left her house with her giant cross on her back, encountered Kouro in the middle of her rush, hearing his question, Theresa raised an eyebrow.

"Of course, I have business to attend to, that's why I am in a hurry. How about you, why are you still awake so late? Do you have insomnia?"

Kouro had thought of several possibilities as to why the Main Quest isn't complete yet, and the strange changes in Nagazora City that he heard from Theresa, confirmed his thoughts, he then looked at the flying ship which looked shabby compared to the enormous aerial battleship Hyperion, and couldn't help but say.

"I thought we were going to use Hyperion."

"Hyperion will not be in this airport. It has it's own hangar. This times incident happened so suddenly and it's also not a very big deal, so we'll be using the reconnaissance-type flying ship, Helios."

Theresa then looked at Kouro and as if knowing what he was thinking, she replied.

"Don't worry, all transportation vehicles in St. Freya Academy is equipped with an auto-pilot system, which is more reliable than human control."

Theresa said as she sat on the driver's seat.

Kouro saw her actions and hurriedly buckled in his seatbelt, he looked up in the sky and said in resignation, "Wow... It turns out that the moon can be so round."

Kouro's word reached Theresa and she could feel the resigned tone from his voice. Seeing him like this caused a blue tick to appear on her forehead, slightly irritated by Kouro's doubt, but she held it in, as if she didn't hear it in the first place.

Due to the presence of the anti-gravity engine called 'Leonov' the Helios Airship can maneuver vertically and float in the air like a rocket.
