Kevin felt SA's power waning as he absorbed her energy, and with each passing second, she grew weaker. His acceleration abilities decreased her kinetic momentum and thermal energy, further diminishing her strength.
"How dare you!" SA shouted in rage, her voice echoing through the void.
In a desperate attempt to turn the tide, she unleashed a barrage of razor-sharp shards made of pure quantum energy.
Kevin didn't flinch; he summoned a tornado of quantum energy, its powerful currents shattering the incoming shards with ease. The shards disintegrated upon impact, leaving only a shimmering cloud of residual energy in their wake.
Kevin, sensing SA's declining strength, began to take the fight less seriously. He focused on refining his control over quantum energy, his attention drifting from the battle as he experimented with the newfound power.
SA, noticing his change in demeanor, decided to play one of her trump cards. She distorted the time around Kevin, slowing him down significantly.
Kevin's smirk faded as he realized he was moving sluggishly. Its first time he had faced an opponent who could manipulate time.
SA took advantage of his momentary lapse, unleashing a torrent of black-purple light. The destructive energy, cold and malevolent, raced toward Kevin at the speed of light.
Kevin barely had time to react. He summoned his fighting aura, his body encased in protective dragon scales. However, the black-purple light was too powerful.
It blasted through his defenses, leaving an open wound on his chest, the searing pain a stark reminder of his earlier arrogance.
*I was a fool,* Kevin thought, gritting his teeth as blood dripped from the wound. He struggled to regain control. His regeneration kicked in.
Sensing an opportunity, SA lunged forward, her tendrils reaching out to siphon Kevin's life force. They wrapped around him, sinking into his essence as they began to drain his strength. Kevin's muscles tensed as he fought to resist, but the injury made it difficult to fight back.
He closed his eyes, focusing on the core of his power. With a surge of determination, Kevin unleashed the power of Finality, its purple aura flaring around him.
The energy burned through SA's tendrils, incinerating them before they could drain any more of his life force. SA screamed in agony as the Finality aura seared her form, preventing her from healing the damage.
"You… How can you wield such power?" SA's voice trembled with a mix of fear and fury.
Kevin didn't respond. He summoned chains of void constructs, which materialized out of the abyss and wrapped around SA's body. With a swift motion, he slammed her into the ground, the force of the impact causing the entire dimension to tremble.
SA, though weakened, was not yet defeated. She manifested spectral claws, slashing at Kevin from multiple angles.
But Kevin, regaining his composure, easily parried each attack, his movements swift since Kevin can catch her movements.
SA's attacks grew more desperate, her strength fading with each passing moment as Kevin's deceleration continued to take its toll.
In a last-ditch effort, SA attempted to collapse the dimension around Kevin, creating a singularity that threatened to engulf him.
Kevin countered by freezing the space around him, halting the collapse and stabilizing the environment. He didn't give SA a chance to recover, blasting her with a powerful punch that sent her sprawling.
"Is this for all. I'm disappointed". Kevin said while looking airborne.
Summoning the Zeroth Power of his Divine Key, Kevin's sword blazed like a sun, releasing a massive wave of light and energy that bathed the battlefield in its radiant glow.
"What sort of being are you?" SA shouted, her voice filled with disbelief. "Your authority is incomplete, and still, you are so strong!"
As she realized the futility of continuing the fight, SA used her spatial manipulation to open a portal, attempting to flee. But Kevin, predicting her move, blocked the exit with his Void Authority, preventing her escape.
In a desperate move, SA summoned three clones and ordered them to stall Kevin while she sought another way out. The clones charged at Kevin, transforming into their beast forms, their monstrous appearances mirroring the depths of SA's despair.
Kevin decided it was time to end the battle and summoned Finality. The intense fire changed from crimson red to dark purple.
But His focused went on a clone that resembled Vita, her beast form a twisted reflection of the original.
Kevin struck to the right, his shock blade cutting through the other two clones with a devastating slash. The force of the impact sent Vita flying, while SA's right side was severely injured, her body burned and major of her left side got cut.
She quickly took the opportunity to went away, SA limped away, vanishing into the vastness of the Quantum Sea.
Kevin watched her go, a feeling of frustration washing over him.
*The Quantum Sea is so big…* he thought, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the horizon. *Finding her again will be nearly impossible.*
Kevin then turned his attention to Vita, who lay unconscious on the ground. He approached her cautiously, his expression softening as he destroyed her connection to SA using his Origin Authority.
Some time later, Vita awoke, her eyes wide with fear as she backed away from Kevin, trembling.
"You are a copy of SA," Kevin said, his tone calm yet firm.
"Yes," she replied, her voice barely a whisper.
"Do you have a name?" Kevin asked, his gaze steady as he studied her.
She hesitated, trying to use her connection to SA but finding it severed. She looked up at Kevin, confusion in her eyes. "Vita… Vita, that's my name."
Kevin nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Vita, that's a good name."
He paused, then added, "I've cut your connection with SA." He noticed the puzzled look on her face and continued, "You're free to do."
Vita looked down, her mind racing as she tried to process this newfound freedom. "Then… what do you want from me?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Kevin considered her question for a moment before responding, "Do you have any place to go?"
Vita shook her head, her eyes downcast. "No… I don't know where I belong.".
"Okay, then become my maid," he said, explaining the role to her. "You'll have a place to stay, and I'll take care of you. But you have to follow my order and don't worry i won't ask much".
Kevin then continued to gather resources from the area.
Vita's expression shifted from confusion to something resembling acceptance. "Kevin-sama," she said tentatively,
"This place is close to the deepest part of the Quantum Sea. Here, time moves slower than in the rest of the area."
Kevin paused, his eyes narrowing as he processed this information. "What's the ratio?"
Vita shook her head, uncertainty in her voice. "I'm not sure, but it's around one day here is equal to four months outside."
Hearing this, Kevin felt a pang of anxiety. *I've spent around three days fighting SA and collecting resources…*
He acted quickly, releasing his Diabolic Form for the first time. Before flying he took Sa broken flesh pieces in his system.
The aura of Finality radiated off him, causing Vita to tremble as she sensed its overwhelming power. She murmured the word "Finality" under her breath, her fear evident as Kevin grabbed her by the waist and flew at an incredible speed.
His thoughts raced as he used his Void Authority to reach his world, the connection with his girls growing stronger with each passing moment. *I've lost so much time… I can't afford to waste any more.*
