Side Story 51: To The Underworld And Peerage

After the leaders summit, Kuoh Academy got restored by the devils once again and it was time for summer break. And when vacation time hits, every devil will be going to the underworld.

But Ein had other plans, and that was to make his own peerage. And he thought Ajuka's evil pieces were too vanilla. So Ein created his own. A chess variant of Glinski's hexagonal chess game.

With 3 bishops, and 10 pawns instead. He also added another queen, because why not. Ein gathered the first members of his peerage. The ones who weren't summoned by the kids.

"Karna, you're a reliable and honorable warrior. How about it? You want to be the queen piece of my peerage?" Ein smiled at him and patted him on the shoulder.

Karna was surprised and Morgan got really jealous. Wanting that position for herself. "Ein-sama... I gladly accept the role, I will be your greatest sword and shield." Karna kneeled and Ein took out a chess piece that looked convoluted, sprouting horns of a dragon at the top instead of a crown.

It would give him infinite potential to improve, a watered down gene seed. One of his greatest creations.

Karna then felt a connection with him, falling unconscious to the ground as he saw a glimpse of his infinite power. And a little light at the end of a long tunnel. A reminder that he could now reach and ascend to a higher being that the gods he knew could not.

"Artoria, come here. You're a loyal knight, the best of the best when it comes to your work. Do you want to be my knight forever?" Ein patted her head and gave her a cookie.

"Ein-sama... I'm already your knight, this highest honor... I accept without any doubt." Artoria kneeled as well and Ein gave her a knight piece. He then created Excalibur proto and knighted her with the sword.

Mordred was both happy and envious for her father, but she knew that she didn't have the qualifications this time around.

"How about you, sugar? Want to be a queen?" Ein chuckled and asked Bayonetta. She thought about it for a moment and shrugged, thinking why the hell not.

"Sure, handsome~ I think we'll be having a nice little adventure with all of your shenanigans." Bayonetta accepted and Ein put a queen piece in her.

Her clothes then exploded once again as she couldn't control her mana for a split second. "Damn it, Bayonetta. You could've controlled that." Ein sighed and she winked at him.

"Like what you see?" Bayonetta wiggled her ass in front of him and he slapped it. "Of course I do!" Ein gave a wide grin and they flirted again.

"Hey, stop flirting every time god damnit." Achilles who was a bit prudish turned his back on them and complained.

"Sheesh, don't be too jealous now. Get a girlfriend or something." Ein booed him and Bayonetta threw her panties right at his head. Making Achilles panick once he took it.

"Now, you must have had a mighty fun time?" Ein said to no one in particular. And the servants were confused. Lucoa was the only one who opened her eyes and smiled, knowing that somebody was watching them.

"Tche~ You didn't have to out me like that. You should've just came to me." A red head appeared out of nowhere and she was kind of like Serafall. But a bit more mature. (pic)

"Hmmm, you're one of the originals huh? Explains how you can hide from my servants." Ein looked at her in interest and the woman puffed her chest in pride.

"Of course! I'm Runeas Gremory, the very first devil of the duke house of Gremorys. Oh, and I like camels, because they're cute." Runeas introduced herself and smiled at everyone.

"The original devil of the Gremory huh? She looks swell, Ein. Let's keep her." Bayonetta was amused at Runeas' cheerful personality and Ein nodded.

"Hey, kid. Want to join my peerage? I'll give you some fabulous camels." Ein snapped his fingers and a camel that looks like a fluffy llama appeared.

"Woah! That camel is totally adorable! Nii-chan, you're striking a hard bargain here..." Runeas was holding herself back from accepting as she technically has more authority than the head of the Bael clan which was the only great king clan that is left besides Serafall. As the Balam and Belial house has lost too many people and fell in the rankings.

"Gunununu! And I can't see the future. What exactly are you?" Runeas squinted her eyes at him and Ein smirked at her. As Runeas can use divination, the original trait of the Gremory house which has been lost to time.

"I'm just a gentleman that wants to have some fun~ How about it? You'll keep that camel once you accept you know? Her fur is also really fluffy and she likes belly rubs you know?" Ein tempted her and the servants thought that he was the devil.

"Fine! Come here my camel! From henceforth, your name will be Ms. Floofy." Runeas started rubbing her face on the camel's fur and it licked her face.

"Heh, too easy." Ein cackled at the corner and gave her a bishop piece. Runeas then gasped, pouting at Ein as he tempted her.

Ein then gave Arcueid a rook piece, Atalanta, Mordred, Siegfried, Astolfo, Fran, Jeanne, and Semiramis pawns. Ein then waited for the last pawn available, who was Issei.

Chiron, Shakespeare, and Achilles refused. As the former two wanted to have a nice time just teaching students while Achilles would lose his mind if he was around Ein too much. He couldn't even sleep much at night. Remembering Ein's soft thighs and sweet smell.

"Master Ein, sorry I'm late. Thank you very much for this opportunity. I won't let you down!" Issei's determination burned and Ein nodded in satisfaction.

"Two more bishops, 2 pawns, and a rook then. And I've got just the people." Ein smirked and looked at Arcueid. "Ein-sama, am I finally going to have a mission? Sucking your blood everyday without having to do anything makes me feel bad you know?" Arcueid's eyes changed and she gave a bloodthirsty smirk.

"Un, you'll be coming to Romania. Your little junior Gasper's friend is being experimented on in Romania. I know you really like the kid, so I give you permission to come there and fuck them up." Ein gave her a thumbs up and Arcueid squinted her eyes.

"Hoh? Then I will enjoy showing them what a true vampire actually is." Arcueid got pissed and her dragon horns appeared, shaking the world with her pressure.

"Scary~ So you changed her, huh? I stand corrected, that girlie is the scariest among your servants." Bayonetta whistled as Arcueid's aura started to leak.

"Well, she isn't their ruler without a reason. She's the personification of earth as an ultimate being. Back at her home." Ein shrugged and Bayonetta now understood.

"Hey master, what's this set of words that came to me? Fus Ro." Ein cut Siegfried off and shushed him. "You are now, a dovahkiin. Dragonborn!" Ein shouted out and decided to give a demonstration.

"Fus Ro Dah!" He created a copy of Kuoh town and the Thu um sprung to life. Bending the world to his words' will. The town got plowed by a shockwave that was unrelenting. Ruining the town to rubble.

"Fuck... That's awesome, can I learn that? Can I!?" Mordred got really excited and her happiness dampened when Ein chuckled. "Sure, but do you have the patience to study it?"

"Uhhh... I'll just blow things away with mana bursts then." Mordred got depressed. As Siegfried got it quite easily due to being the dragon blooded knight.

"Yeah, it's quite difficult for people without a dragon aspect. It's the language dragons use in another place that bends the world to their will." Ein explained and Issei perked up at that information.

"So, me and Artoria-san can learn it then?" Issei thought that the grind never ends and the Thu um would be a great skill for his arsenal.

"No fair! Father gets the good things!" Mordred pouted and Ein patted her head. "Don't be too jealous now. You have blade blacksmith and twice critical. Artoria doesn't have a sacred gear."

"Umu, you also haven't gotten the balance breakers for it as well Mordred. Don't be hasty." Artoria comforted her and Morgan rolled her eyes as Artoria looked at her to do something as well.

"Yeah, you're... Adequate enough." Morgan commented, which was the best someone could get if they're below her.

"And as for the dragons, Artoria, Siegfried, Issei. You'll be trying to convince Tiamat to be my rook." Ein gave them their mission and the two servants paled.

"But... Isn't she right here already?" Siegfried looked at Tiamat that was playing old maid with Ardi, Meteria, and Aria.

"That's Tiamama, she's different. I meant, the Tiamat of this world, she's one of the dragon kings. And she's the strongest one." Ein clarified and the two servants sighed in relief.

"Runeas, you will be coming with Mordred, Semiramis, and Fran to the Leviathan territory of the old Satan faction. There's a certain girl there that needs some help." Ein ordered them and Runeas saluted.

"I'll be destroying them with my mighty steed! Ms. Floofy! Ain't that right?" Runeas fluffed up the camel, llama, or alpaca hybrid.

"How about me?" Jeanne asked and Ein thought about his last bishop. "Ahh, you'll be going to England. This is perfect for you, the person you're going to recruit is the wielder of the Alphecca Tyrant. The nails that were used to crucify Jesus." Ein smiled at her and Jeanne went wide eyed.

"Really? Thank you, I'll definitely get her to our side." Jeanne bowed and thought that it was considerate of him to let her pursue her interests still.

"Yosh! My peerage's name huh... How about something cool this time around? How's Die Eroberer Des Kaisers?" Ein suggested.

"The emperor's conquerors? Hmmm, sounds good." Bayonetta approved and thought it was appropriate for an elite squad.

"Yosh! Let's go and get our new members. Karna, Bayonetta, with me. Everyone else, to your destinations." Ein smirked and sat on a throne, his queens at his side.
