Valindra was in her dorm room deciding on how she'll redecorate it once Mika was gone when her tablet began to ding.

Thinking the incoming comm was to inform her of Mika's forfeit to their match, she took her time in answering the call.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Miss Valindra Quiro?..."

"Yes, what is it?" Valindra was eager to hear that Mikaela was pulling out of their match.

"You need to come to the school's stadium immediately, your match has been moved up."

"Why? Isn't my opponent injur- I mean hasn't she forfeited the match...?"

"No, your opponent, Miss Mikaela Amara, is waiting for you at the arena. If you don't show up within fifteen minutes, you will be consider the loser. That is all." The comm ended.

"Damnit! Didn't they say that Mikaela wouldn't be able to beat the five other contestants...?" Valindra was biting her nails, thinking about what she should do when her eyes happen to see the little gift Kamryn gave to her.
