Night fell and Ailwin made his way towards the remaining shuttles in the fort. Opening one of the doors, he started loading up the vessel with minimal gear that he could take without putting his men in jeopardy.

When he went to go grab the last bag, Braeden rounded the corner and grab it from him, "Where do you think you are going?"

"Give it to me."

"Answer my question, Commander Qinvyre." Braeden used Ailwin official title, to remind ailwin that he is the Commander of this fort.

Ailwin looked into his friend stern eyes and sighed, "You already know where I'm going."

"Yeah, I do know...but I also know that going there is a lost cause." Braeden stressed as Ailwin snatch the bag out of his hand.

"You don't know that-"

"Actually, I do; because if you hadn't zoned out and left the conversation. You would have heard the rest of the three young males' story ." Braeden looked down at the dirt ground before shaking his head.
