517 The Real Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Mikaela found Ailwin just before nightfall coming out of her father's office.

"Hey…" She called out to stop him before he could walk further away.

"Mikaela, I can't get you in. So, don't bother asking." Ailwin shook his head 'no' before she could even say anything.

"I wasn't going to ask that!" Mika grumbled.

"Really?" He stared into her eyes.

Mika looked away, "Well, it wouldn't have hurt to asked."

"Mikaela…" Ailwin turned away from her and continued walking towards his bedroom.

"Fine, fine...but it's not fair! I'll be by myself the whole evening while everyone else is going to the banquet."

"It's only for one night." He opened the door to his bedroom.

"Do you know all the things I can do in one night?" 

Ailwin paused by his night table to look back at his soon to be wife in dismay, knowing where this conversation is headed.
