Mika and Saavi had entered the meeting room through the side door just as Lady Jaelah had begun her ranting.

They hid behind one of the bookcases as they listen to the conversation.

"You will remove the guards from my courtyard... and you will beg for my forgiveness because if you don't your precious Amara clan will be over..."

"Wow, I can't believe she said that..." Saavi whispered.

"Stupid woman..." Mika smirked, liking that Jaelah was making this much easier for her and her father.

Jaelah straightens herself from her bend over position and looked down her nose at Mano's silent form.

"Does she really think they can do whatever the hell they want now that Kam-"

"Shh..." Mika covered Saavi's mouth as her father's steward, Elaith, came running through door.

Holding out the paperwork in his hands, he presented it to his lord.

"Was everything handled...?" Mano took the paperwork from Elaith hands skimming over the documents.
